When Christine came out to greet them, Edouard was immensely surprised and even more relieved when she seemed put off by the drunken Phantom and still she wan't upset with Edouard. He was delighted, although he wasn't sure how this amazing turn of events had come about. He squeezed her hand and smiled.
Billie and Adina were assisting Lenoir into the mansion. This couldn't be better. Emilie had seen Lenoir totally, utterly sloshed and seemed upset by it. Her "Angel" had apparently broken his wings and his halo had rusted in that one small instant when she first saw him in a state she never would have expected from her precious "Angel!" Edouard could hardly help smirking. Strange he hadn't thought of it before. Lenoir, not being a drinking man, would be much more affeccted by the alcohol than someone who drank a lot, like Edouard, who of course would never admit to how much he drank.
Lenoir seemed to have been unaware of what Edouard was doing too, which seemed amazing to the Vicomte. He seemed a bit naiive. And he had trusted Edouard. That was the funniest part of all. He should have known better! Of course this meant that Edouard couldn't play any more cruel jokes on him, but that was all right. It had succeeded better than he could have imagined when the idea first sparked itself inside his brain, upon seeing the depressed and devastated Lenoir.
After a squeeze of Emilie's hand, he pulled her toward him and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. "There's more where that came from," he whispered. "Later."
Then he started to join in Lenoir's drunken song. The Phantom was a bit off key, but Edouard was very off key. They sounded atrocious, but Edouard was not even thinking of anyone he might awaken.

Entering the Manor, Erik was suddenly feeling a bit better than he had before. The song revived him. And he noticed Adina was joining in. He winked at her. The song sounded wonderful to him, even if Edouard was adding his voice to the song. He didn't even realize how off key he and Edouard were. He didn't even think about or care where they were taking him.
The singing trio, plus Billie, followed Emilie to a room where she said Erik could stay for the night. It seemed to Erik to take hours to traverse the long hallways. Thankfully they didn't have to walk the marble staircase. The room to which Emilie was leading them seemed to be on the main floor of the Manor.
After the song was over, Erik began to give a running commentary on the valuable works of art displayed in the halls. "See tha' vase? It's from the Chinese Ming dyn'sty. 14th Cent'ry." He pointed to a tapestry on the wall. 17th Cen'try. " He continued to make comments on everything until they reached the room where Emilie stopped.
In a voice much louder then he would normally be used at this time of night, Erik shouted at Emilie, "What are you bloody waitin' for, Chris'ine? Open the damn door so I can get th' hell t' sleep!"

The call from Billie while at the Schooner Steed was one thing and she expected him to be around later after she'd gone to sleep. What she didn't expect was a phone call - again - needing help at the Manor. Help? With what? she thought? Damnit! And here she was in 'shut-down' mode ready for bed and was getting a little tired, too. Nope. Now she had to get back up, get dressed, and get over to the Manor to assist in Lord knows what it was they needed over there according to Billie. She couldn't wait to lay into Billie for disrupting her beauty sleep.
Taking a cab over to the Manor, since Billie had the truck. The little car pulled into the massive drive and she saw Billie's truck as well as a carriage that was just.... there. She didn't see anyone however she saw lights on in the Manor and of course the large entry way door was open. The cab driver was very leary and asked her again if she really wanted to be here. She paid the driver and got out only saying, "thanks".
Striding towards the truck, then to the carriage, she moved to the doorway and walked in. Knocking on the massive door- "HELLO?!?" Looking around as she heard singing. Three voices singing some old song one might her in some sailor's tavern. A bit taken aback from it as one of the voices sounded like Michael Crawford- or, actually Lenoir. "Hello?" as she moved in further through the foyer to follow the singing but stopped in a hallway as the song was bounding all over the place. After a moment, of listening hard, and hearing the singing stop and Lenoir's distant bark, she followed it down the hallway until she came to the little part of Edouard, Emilie, Adina, and Billie all helping Lenoir into a room. This baffled her as she approached the party. She really hated the fact that she just walked into someone's home. But she got over it as she was watching Lenoir being hauled in and taken over to the bed. The brunette Edwardian woman seemed to be in a reserved fuss over him, the redhead - who looked just like Kate Winslet, and she rose her brows at seeing her - looked mightily concerned. Seeing Billie as he set Lenoir down. Then turned to look at Edouard. She gave a weak smile, "I presume this is your home? Sorry for letting myself in. Billie said you needed some help," and glanced over at Lenoir with a strange look upon her face and in her eyes. This was not exactly how she would have thought the Phantom would behave. Ever! Holding out her hand to Edouard, dressed in blue denims, brown heeled boots, a brown shirt and a brown leather jacket that had a tie belt around the waist , "Hi. I'm Ana," and had absolutely NO clue what sort of can of worms she just opened by coming back to the Manor.

The evening was divine as the Fates seemed to smile upon him now. Lenoir messed up big time with Teressa. This opened up a grand opportunity for Destler to make his move to regain Teressa. After a momentary visit in an attempt to sooth her heartache, he escorted her topside outside to at least help with her nerves and console her. So far, it was working.
But now, he was escorting her back inside. So far his plans that he was making up as they went were falling together splendidly! It wouldn't take long now. Soon he shall possess the alabaster Goddess that captured his attentions when he first came here. He could hardly contain himself!
Opening the door for her so they could re-enter the Manor, waited for her while being as chivalrous as possible. Now he heard distant singing. As he took up his place beside Teressa again, he noticed a chestnut brunette had entered the Manor and wandering the halls, disappearing down one of the corridors. Strange and curious. Her attire was different and he'd not seen her before. But then his attention was now drawn to Teressa. For something was not right!

Teressa had been smiling until she spotted the woman who'd just entered the manor and ran off. It was that woman...the one Lenoir was with...running off toward the dormitories. That cad! That utter bastard! He'd probably called for her and told her what had happened, and now she was probably off to go and...and...Oh, she couldn't bear to think of it. But she did know what she'd do about it.
Quickly, her hand reached out and grabbed Destler's. She squeezed his fingers urgently, pulling up to his side and pressing against his arm. She hugged it to herself, then leaned over to whisper into Destler's ear. "Let's go somewhere else. Anywhere else." Leaning away she batted her eyelashes at him, hoping that he'd take her away.

Erik was looking forward to sleeping for a long time in a comfortable bed. Billie helped him to the bed while Emilie and Adina hovered over him. It was nice having the women concerned about him. In his drunken haze, it was hard to think of anything but the sleep he wanted so much. However, the ladies were definitely something to focus one's eyes on before falling asleep.
But Erik was uncomfortable with his clothing still on instead of his night shirt and still wearing his boots bothered him more than anything. He pointed to one of them and said, "I want my boots off." He noticed Edouard standing on the edges of the melee. If Erik had been sober, he would have recognized the expression on Edouard's face to be slight irritation whenever his wife got too near to Lenoir. Erik wanted to kiss her to thank her for being so nice to him, but, even drunk, he knew better to kiss Edouard's wife right in front of him. But as soon as they were alone...a kiss of thanks would definitely be in order. He smiled when watching her. He started to hum the drinking song again.
But then his attention was diverted to someone else entering the room... he stopped humming and looked at her in horror. He pointed at her and yelled at the top of his voice, "She's the one! She started all 'o this! Get ''er away from me!" Erik pushed away from the sight of her so violently that he reached the edge of the bed and tumbled over onto the softly carpeted floor. He curled up like a child and put his arms about his face to hide himself from Ana...

Emilie watched and waited patiently for Lenoir to be brought over to the bed with care by those helping him - the silver hair man and the redheaded girl. This scene that played out was no Opera, no little fantasy. It was a reality of which she never thought possible. Never in a million years. This was something Edouard would do. Not her Angel of Music! She was just about to assist Lenoir from his attire to at least rest comfortably. It was a good thing, so to speak, that Edouard was visible, with others as well. This could so easily get out of hand and with Lenoir drunk, she most likely would have been compromised in a more improper way! She moved to his feet and was about to remove them when Lenoir demanded them removed. She straightened up to glare at Lenoir. What ever in the world had gotten into him?!? What a vile thing alcohol was when it was abused. Did her Angel not know enough to be responsible? How could- how DID this get so out of hand. With a sigh and none too gently, she removed Lenoir's footwear and set them aside. "Could you help me, miss?" she said to the redhead with a rather calm but wry tone. "Hold him up for me while I remove his jacket and vest." Hoping that the maid would not find it a rather unsettling moment. Being a mother and wife now, such things as this no longer caused her to blush or think it inappropriate. Time changes a person, that's for sure.
All this changed in a moment as she was about to remove Lenoir coat when the poor drunken man reacted in such a hysterical way that she straightened up, gawking at Lenoir so stunned and bewildered. Glancing from him to the towards the direction her Angel pointed and saw that brunette she spotted Lenoir with earlier that day, standing next to her Husband. Furrowing a brow but with no time to think as Lenoir reacted in a way she never thought possible. Her head turned in absolute shock to watch Lenoir scurry like some crazed, frightened child during a storm - Lord, God! Gustave behaved this way when the storms were incredibly violent. Her jaw dropped and she nearly paled! There was no doubt in her mind now much Gustave was so much like his sire. In almost every aspect. Almost. At least Gustave never flopped upon the floor all frightened, he usually ran to her! Moving over to Lenoir as she hovered over him rather baffled, "Erik?" and rested a hand upon his shoulder. "What ever are you ranting about?" She was so being motherly at this point. And nothing like that impish Chorus Girl that Lenoir once knew. Oh, yes. They both had changed. A lot! Her head lifted to look at her Husband and the brunette woman in strange attire. Not sure how to deal with this situation other than with utter confusion. What ever had this woman done that put the Phantom into such a state?!?

Lu couldn't sleep. She was still thinking about what Ana had told her about people not being able to leave the mansion if they had a room with their name on it. Already in bed, she sat up and lit an oil lamp. She sighed. This wasn't fair. She hadn't even gotten a message to Gunner yet. He must be worried sick about her.
Lu got out of bed and stood up, the lamp in her hand illuminating the dark room with a soft yellow flickering glow. She put it down on the dresser and decided to take a walk about the mansion, for if she couldn't sleep, perhaps she would find something else to occupy herself. She changed from her white nightgown to her trousers, fringed vest and shirt with wide sleeves. Her boots had fringe on also and she laced them up.
Lu liked her suite very much, considering it was a replica of some of the rooms from her childhood, the happy time, before her mother had passed away, and the room contained her mother's piano which Lu never thought she would see again. Her violin, banjo and guitar were there too. Whoever had designed the room, had found out a huge amount of information about Lu. And that name on the door, very strange. If she ever got her hands on whoever did this to her, he would be very sorry! Those thoughts were on her mind as she started to walk down the mansion's long corridors, the oil lamp in her hand.
Lu walked down the long marble stairway to the main floor, and thought she could hear some singing and then a lot of voices. Curious, she followed the sounds and soon turned a corner where she saw a brightly lit area and the voices became louder. She walked down to the room and doused her lamp, putting it on the floor. and entered the room. It was a beautifully furnished bedroom. There were several people standing around and several other seeming to be trying to handle some drunk wearing a mask. That was odd...another masked man?
She glanced at the nearest man, a fellow wearing very nice clothing. He had blond hair and blue eyes. Not a bad looking fellow, even thought he was a bit shorter than she was. She poked him and motioned toward the bed. "Who's that and what are they doing to him?"

Watching the chaos surrounding Lenoir, Edouard kept an eye on Emilie. He didn't mind her helping Lenoir, well not too much, if that's all it was. She seemed more motherly than anything else though. And there were plenty of other people in the room, and there seemed to be more all the time.
It should be all right as long as Lenoir didn't try to kiss her. That lecherous drunken fool! He just might try it and Edouard moved closer to the bed to be able to stop anything untoward before it happened. Of course he wasn't even thinking that he was mostly to blame for the Phantom being in this condition, encouraging him to drink to excess, telling him that it was good for him. And you would think that Lenoir would know better considering that he was somewhere in his forties, older than Edouard. You would think he'd have some common sense, Edouard thought with a little pride. The Phantom certainly couldn't hold his liquor! This was definitely sweet revenge!
And he was acting like an idiot now. Pointing his finger and yelling at the top of his voice at some strange woman...and what the hell was that woman wearing.... what odd clothing. Edouard looked her half disapprovingly and half liking it. He grinned a bit. She introduced herself to him and he said, "Pleased to meet you. I'm Raoul Edouard de Chagny, but most people call me Edouard."
Then Edouard looked back at Lenoir. He wondered why the Phantom was so upset when this woman appeared. Then the fool went too close to the edge of the bed and fell off. Edouard started to laugh loudly, too loudly. It was hilarious, but he was showing that he was still rather drunk too.
After a bit, Edouard realized that there was a tall girl standing next to him. Dark hair and dark eyed, she was wearing trousers too, along with fringed boots and vest. She looked like she was from the American west. Edouard smiled at her. The male clothes suited her, but brought out an unusual feminine quality. He liked that.
The woman asked in English what was going on. "Oh an acquaintance of ours, Erik Lenoir. Got himself ridiculously drunk in town tonight, the fool. As you can see, it's taking quite a few people to put him to bed." Edouard smiled again and held out his hand to her. "Raoul Edouard de Chagny," he said, introducing himself. "Most call me Edouard...and you are?"

Adina stayed cautious around Erik. She knew from her experience with her father that anything could happen when someone was in a drunken state, such as the one Lenoir was in. She carefully shifted her gaze in front of her every few seconds to make sure she would not trip over anything as they moved into the room.
Without having to be told, the maid quickly smiled and knelt down to help unlace Erik's boots. At least it was an excuse to stay away from his mouth because of the terrible smell of the alcohol on his breath. She tried to suppress a shudder but could not as the smell brought back those unwanted memories. Her eyes flitted upwards to see if Erik were at all aware of his surroundings or if he were in too deep a stupor to notice.... Notice how she were helping him. But for now, she was content just to help him remove his boots; she even began to hum along with the drinking song again.
Then she stood up to help Christine hold Erik as she began to undress him... The poor maid felt rather belittled by this woman! But instead of voicing her disdain she remained silent and only helped to hold up Lenoir by slinging one arm over her shoulder. She did not mind as she started to reach out to remove his coat. But then, she saw something strange... Lenoir seemed to go into a sudden panic!
Adina pulled away with shock when she heard Erik yell with such emotion. She moved her hand to her chest and curled it into a fist. She looked to her right and saw the woman. Actually, two others! Someone else she hadn't met? Someone new? Why had she not seen all these people when she was a ghost? Who were they? And how had they all come to be in the manor?

Well this was an interesting little gathering just for Lenoir. Ana stood there as she introduced herself to Edouard but the sudden outburst from Lenoir centered upon her, drowned out anything she said. Gazing back at Lenoir then rose her brows, stunned and frozen where she was at the Phantom's reaction to her. She truly missed something as whatever he was insinuating, it went completely over her head. "Alrighty then," dragging out the two words. "I obviously missed something." Furrowing her brow while watching the bed where Lenoir now had disappeared behind. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "men," she said softly then looked over at Lu and the man who stated his name as de Chagny. THE de Changy?!? Raising her brows a moment before she smiled at Lu then looked around at all the people in the room. This was interesting and utterly strange!
Moving over slowly to Billie, leaning towards him. "I won't ask but what am I doing here?" as her eyes moved over to were she could barely see the top of Lenoir's head. What ever in the world was that man ranting about? She did it? Did what? What was he blaming her for? Suddenly she was becoming annoyed with the unknown accusation. What did she do that he blamed her for?!?

Lu smiled at Edouard. He had a nice smile. "Lu Dallas. An' I'm please to meet you too, Edouard." She could tell by his stance and how he acted that he was rather more drunk than not. Of course not as drunk as the fellow on the bed. He put his left hand in his pocket, pulling back the end of his coat and revealing a lovely dagger in a sheath, stuck in his trouser's waistband. And on his waistcoat, there was a gold chain, which undoubtedly was attached to a gold pocket watch, in the pocket of the Edouard's silk waistcoat. She smiled again, this time to herself. She kept watching Edouard as he watched Lenoir, seemingly very much entertained.
Lu kept her eye on the dagger and while he was laughing so hard he had his hands over his face, she pulled the dagger out of his waistband and put it in the pocket of her trousers, the hilt of it under her vest. Then she gazed at the watch chain. Gold, surely. Worth a pretty penny, she was sure. And she hadn't even seen the watch yet. She waited till he was laughing loudly again, then seemingly was pushed into Edouard roughly. She grabbed bis arms to steady herself, then apologised profusely. "I'm so sorry, Sir. Surely didn't mean to do that. Are you all right?"
Edouard smiled and assured her he was fine. Lu smiled too. The pocket watch and chain was safely in her pocket now. She knew how to do those little fake stumbles and she was one of the best pick pockets that she knew about, that is outside of Gunner. And since he apparently wasn't here, she was undoubtedly the best pick pocket in the mansion. Of course she hadn't met Lenoir yet, at least when he was sober...

Erik had been making his way to the kitchen for each night since he had found them, there had been a plate of wonderful brownies sitting out. Each night we would slink in, grab one and then leave before anyone could find him out. This had been happening for about two weeks now. So warm, soft, and chocolate perfection. He had become addicted to them, but of course, none of it ever showed or gave him any sort of pop belly since he was too good for that.
Something was different tonight though. On his usual route, there would be complete silence as he would come from his domain, through the halls, a quick glide through the ballroom and then through the dorms into the kitchen. However, tonight, he was several hallways away from the dorms and he heard some... strange noises. Curious, he continued his way, passing his Christine's room and through and through till he came upon... some interesting gathering. There was what seemed to be drunk singing and then a whole different bunch of noises. What sort of party was this?
He glided through the hallway, unsure if he should even attempt to see what the bloody hell was going on. He wore his normal attire, black tail coat and cape and such but wore a rustic golden colored mask. As he came to the group, at the door way, he stood and pulled off his golden mask to reveal his white one underneath. "What on earth is going on?" He asked, now seeing drunken Lenoir having fallen onto the ground. Erik recognized some faces, two others he did not. He shrugged if off and decided to try and add a little humor to his entrance besides being the 'nosy passerby'. "... And why wasn't I invited?" He said with a slight smirk. "Is there anything I could assist with or do you have it under... 'control'?" He asked chuckling a little and then letting the situation go on.

Erik lay down on the floor, his arms over his face, moaning. A bit of paranoia was overtaking him. He wished everyone would go away and just leave him. He was feeling miserable now with all these people laughing and staring at him. He felt like a child again. He crawled under the bed to get away from it all and curled up in a ball.
Even Emilie looked a bit upset with him. He wondered why. And it seemed she now wanted to take off all of his clothing in front of everyone else! She probably wanted to take off his mask too, as she had done years before and let everyone laugh and jeer and perhaps scream. What could he do, but hide?
Then there was that woman Ana, probably here to jeer at Erik too. She had caused all the trouble by kissing him. And Teressa had seen everything and now she was lost to him forever. He had thought to start a new life here, now he just wanted to get out of here again, as he had in the begining, when he had first come. The hell with everyone and everything. He couldn't go back to Paris, but there were other places in the worled where he could hide and never be found. All of these things were just waves of emotion, not real logical thoughts, but they would solidify into thoughts later.
Erik stayed under the bed. He could see nothing except people's legs. He saw Lu's fringed boots standing next to Edouard's dark brown ankle boots, covered by his trousers. Lu seemed to be doing a little dance and then she seemed to trip and fall, right into Edouard's way. Erik could see Ana's tight trousered legs and ankles and her boots too. Then someone with a cape entered the room. It was Carrière. He seemed to be enquiring what was happening. Billie, Emilie and Adina were on the other side of the bed. He didn't know what they were doing. And all of these things were making an impression on Erik's mind, and he would remember some of this, but later, not now. At the moment he was terrified....he wasn't sure why. Perhaps he thought Ana would come after him and kiss him again and then Teressa would walk in and Erik would become more utterly depressed than he was now. How he wished for all of this to be over...

Hunched over the bed, glancing under or trying to, but looked up at the mess of people that had gathered into the room. Not one seemed to be helping in the slightest so to speak. Especially the brunette that had showed up and sent Erik into a tizzy! Gazing at everyone around the room, "I'm afraid I must ask everyone to leave," she looked rather gentle yet stern. Then looking over at Adina, "Would you stay to help me, please?" Before looking over at Edouard, "And you as well, dear?"
Bending down once again, "Erik? Erik?" Her voice gentle and concerned. So much like Gustave! She was using the same tactics she had used with Gustave when he did this once out of fright. She could hardly see under the bed, it was nothing much more than darkened shadows. Whatever in the world sent him into such a state, even with alcohol, was there something she had overlooked from so long ago? She was trying to coax him out from under the bed, to be gentle with the fragile state he was in.
