Still offering his hand to her though it would indeed be a long shot if she actually took it. Instead he used that offered hand to sweep in the direction of which they should go - out through a rustic archway that was not quite chiseled away but looked like it was formed by water.
"I know the perfect place." As he came to that archway, stopped, turned to look back at her. Studying her. Waiting for her. "A couple places actually. Depending if you wish to bathe in style or bathe like a beast." Figuring she'd rather have a civil bath, he actually had a place in mind for it. Holding out his hand again. "Coming?"

She hesitated a while, unsure if she should take his hand or not. She kept her hands close to her chest as she felt her heart beating wildly. The old archway was oddly incredible, unlike anything she'd ever seen.
Drawing in a deep breath for courage, Adina stepped forward and took Erik's hand. It was warmer than she expected... "Er, a more civil bath would be much more in mind, I suppose." She managed, trying to hide the flush blossoming across her cheeks. He was still callous to the point of vulgarity and it made her a bit sick to her stomach. But she had no other choice but to follow him.

Waiting for her, his intense gaze tried to soften but his curiosity kept it like that of a predator upon it's prey. Once she took his hand, he guided her out of that candle infested mini-cavern and sewers.
Not always holding her hand the whole time, he led her through lengthy tunnels towards stairs that took them to the Manor above. "A... proper bathing room is in order," he said trying to break the odd silence between them. "Don't you think?" Glancing back at her as he led her through hallways towards the dorms like area and to a suite that he had decided to inhabit. It was sparcely decorated but looked as though everything was a work in progress. Motioning to a bathroom where there was a place to wash up at least decently." By all means, do make yourself comfortable. And... I shall try to procure something more... suitable for you to wear." He grinned and it was a frightening grin nevertheless.

The young woman shuddered under his gaze. Her heart was pounding even more no matter how hard she tried to keep a cool and clear head about her. His stare still terrified her as a small whimper escaped her throat.
She was relieved to see the bathing room; it was beautiful! The decorations upon the wall were stunning, like something out of a silent film.... Even though she had never seen or heard of a silent film. She was speechless. The bath itself was deep and carved out of marble. She looked over at Erik and bit her lip. How was it she didn't know about this area before?
She looked down at the bath and then back at Erik. Oh gods! His grin shook her to her very core. Icy cold terror washed over her as she quickly looked away. She looked around the room and slowly removed the filthy corset and dress she had on. Then came off the cloth that kept her messy hair out of her pale face. Her shoes slipped off and she finally stepped into the bath. Oh, it was so warm! So nice upon her aching muscles! She leaned back and closed her eyes as a long sigh of relief escaped her lips.

Disappearing from her sights as he strode away from her, leaving this Maid to her more private indulgence. To at least look and feel human rather than some mudcat or street rat.
His thoughts ran wild with him, thinking about Teressa for a moment but also upon that woman that was bathing. His thought so tormented of what he was doing. This was NOT to please HIM. Not in the slightest. This was.... for his only delight. Wasn't it? It had to be! Searching and finding a little something more decent for the bathing woman. Stopping outside the bathroom a moment, about to knock. Him? Being courteous? HA! That had ended ... sort of... many years ago. No. No, that wasn't true. He still had a little bit of civility in him. Knocking then strode in but a couple steps, not really seeing her despite he wanted to in some twisted sense of amusement, tossing clothes upon a chair that was visible to her and to him. "Fresh... and clean..." With that, he left the room, leaving her once again to herself.

Letting the water run over her body, Adina began to hum softly. It was a rather old song, so old, in fact, that no one knew who wrote it.
"They hadn't been there but an hour or two Till out of his knapsack a fiddle he drew The tune that he played caused the vallies to ring. O harken, says the lady, how the nightingales sing.
Pretty lady, pretty lady, 'tis time to give o're. O no, pretty soldier, please play one tune more. I'd rather hear your fiddle at the touch of one string Than to see the waters gliding, hear the nightingales sing.
She stopped and listened, not hearing Erik come around until the rustle of clothing land upon the chair right behind her. She gasped and whipped around, quickly covering herself. The maid felt uncomfortable and she began to slide down into the water. There were barely any soap bubbles to hide anything and that didn't make things any better for her! Adina flushed deeply and just hoped that he wouldn't come closer to the bath.
It wasn't until she heard him leave the room that she let out a sigh of relief. She quickly got out of the tub and snatched up the fresh, new wardrobe the man had left her. She slide on the outfit quickly and went back to drain the bath water. Adina fluffed her hair an dried her face before leaving the bathing room to look for Erik.

He was in the other room, not quite pacing but he wasn't sitting down either. His eyes shifted to the door as it opened and out she came. Glancing her over, "Now ... you don't look like a mudcat or street rat," he was trying to be a little nice. Not really a compliment but it was. She was a lovely thing and he inhaled deeply as pondered what he really should even do to her. Such a frightened little doe she was. So fragile in mind and spirit, so....
"Feeling better?" He snapped his thoughts while stepping away from the wall and mantle to step towards her a little stopping as he looked her over again, narrowing his eyes. They were cold and not really hungry but calculating, curious. What ever was he going to do with her? This was becoming more annoying than first thought.

Adina nodded to Erik and looked down at the dress she was wearing. It was tight, form-fitting with the top rather low cut. She was afraid it was showing too much of her bust and she tried to move her hair in front of herself. "Y-Yes," She managed, keeping her eyes averted from Erik's gaze. "Much better, thank-you."
But then.... Again with the 'mudcat' and 'street rat'? Was he trying to get on her nerves or just make her uncomfortable?? Either way, it was working and she couldn't help but shrink back a bit and look away in embarrassment... Then the voice came to speak to Erik once more.
"Hurt her! Make her suffer. Scare the daylights out of this little bitch! She needs a good taste of pain! Do it! Do it! DO IT!!!"
The air became deathly cold and it felt hard to breathe. The maid could not hear the voice for they only spoke to Erik, the ghosts, and Claude. They only let whomever they wanted to hear listen to their disgusting words. The voices cackled and faded away.

Nodding as he looked at her. "Good." At least she wouldn't be pathetic to look at while he 'enjoyed' his time with her. Even then he wondered why he did this anyways. There seemed to be no interest. No spark of life in him. That drive was practically taken away because of Teressa.
Sneering and flinching away from Adina at the sound of the voices. He clenched his teeth, back to her as he moved away. His hand curled into a fist, softly he bit out, "Not yet!" sneering, glancing up and refusing to let Adina look at his face at this time, "In my due time!" he continued to mutter under his breath, not allowing her to hear.
He stepped a few more paces away from her and slowly looked as though he was circling back towards her. Finally looking over at her, he gave her a weak grin. Then with a motion of his hand towards the couch, "Please, my dear, do sit." Lifting his head a little, "Unless you prefer to stand."

She looked up at Erik as he gazed upon her form. She felt so out of place in such a fancy outfit. It was too garish, too shimmery, too much of everything. But whatever it took to please this man, whatever it took for her to try and plot an escape, it would be worth it in the end.
Adina quickly looked back at Erik when he flinched and moved away from her. He was clearly distressed which frightened her even more. Her stomach tightened when she saw his hand clench in a tight fist. Just the way her father would react, growing impatient and ready to strike her at any moment. She couldn't hold back a small whimper as she took another step away from him... What was he saying? She saw his lips move but no could not hear any uttered words... Was there someone else with them? That horrible man again?! No, it couldn't be! She knew she had to get out of here, NOW!
"I-If it isn't t-t-too much trouble," She stammered, her voice shaking as she took another step back. "I-I would very much rather get back to the manor." RUN, WOMAN, RUN!! Why was she not turning and flying away from Erik?! What the bloody hell was stopping her?? Her mind was screaming at her to flee but her legs were rooted to the floor!

He was waiting for her to sit then he'd sit. But didn't look like she would at all. Curious, he thought. Gazing at her with restrained curiosity and bewilderment. The voices didn't let up but he did his best to block them right now. He had to in order to focus.... so to speak.
Raising his brows, unsure whether to burst into laughter or to think her that daft. "My dear... you are in the Manor!" glancing about then returning her gaze to her. "Do you not recognize this place at all?" Pausing as he thought, not this room per say but the whole of the place as he brought her up from the tunnels below. This was mysterious to say the least. How... was he suppose to torment someone who was... absent.

This was the manor?.......... Adina looked around. There was a bath, a vanity, and......... No! That basin! That dreadful washing basin she thought she had blocked out for all these years!! Everything came rushing back to her like a flood! She gasped and looked at Erik in pure horror.
"N-No!" She cried, bringing her hands to her chest. "Th-This can't be! I-It can't be!!" Her mind was reeling, head spinning as she dropped to her knees in a panic. The pain in her chest made it feel as though she were drowning all over again, reliving that memory without pause or relent.

Her reaction was not completely unexpected but he was a little astonished nevertheless. For someone who once lived her to have forgotten it easily then ... to remember? It was strange. What that what death was like? He would never know.
Slowly he stalked towards her, keeping a cool gaze upon her. Stopping to before her, gazing down upon the crumpled form of a woman now at his feet. Feeling the spurring and drive from whatever was here. And it loathed it. Loathed how they drove him mad. Loathed how they badgered him. He did things his own way, in his own time. There were many ways to torment someone. Especially the living. Just as there were many ways to kill the living.
"You wanted to return here and yet... you are terrified," it was not a question, but a cold statement. Gazing down upon her, unmoved for a while before he bent down over her to caress her cheek. Then took her chin to turn her face to look at him, with his rather careless stare and yet... a fire in them. "Will you cower in fear? Waste your precious limited time trembling? Or will you make the most of it before your time comes once again? Hmm?" Those eyes now intense, staring into her with a wildfire to feed her poor deprived soul.

She looked up at him as he stood before her, towering over her the way her father used to. Adina couldn't stop the shaking sob that caught in her throat. Was this his intention? To scare her into submission? To break her already crumbling spirit? Or did he have something worse planned for her?
The pain in her lungs began to subside a little as she looked up at Erik. She had tried so hard to block away these memories only to have them rush back once more. His words terrified her, made her want to run and hide away from the world. And yet... Something about the way he spoke of making the most of her time sent a small spark through her. Her fear melted away as her heart began to swell in her heaving chest. "No," She finally said. "I want to live and enjoy the time that I have here in this body again... I do not want to waste it dwelling on things long past... I have never tasted rich foods or sipped champagne or wine..."
She paused and looked back up at Erik. "Never experienced intimate contact with another human being." His fiery eyes bore into hers and she stared back with an equal intensity, her rosy lips trembling as she now clung to his form. "Please," She continued. "I want to experience it all. I want to live and not be held back any longer."

Gazing down upon her, watching her reaction to his words. Barely a smirk played upon his mouth as he blinked. It was a start. Perhaps there would be some fun in this after all. Though he felt an ache in his heart over Teressa, just as he did with Christine, he was not about to allow it all to bog down his life.
Enjoying to passion for life in her eyes as this would make this experience all the more delightful. And in the end, all the more painful. At least for her. He reached down, grasped her arms and pulled her to her feet. "Then do so. What holds you back?" He said in a soothing growl. "You wait for an invitation that will never come? Hmm? When in fact your invitation ... was another chance at life. Go. Go on. Do as you will. Enjoy the pleasures." He let go of her as he stepped off to the side, motioned to the doorway, "Perhaps the fine wine and food secondly, since you enjoyed a bath." This would indeed be a fun little play toy.
