The creature tilted her head at the man. Usually trespassers were not so willing to leave immediately. They would ask questions about her Master, or insist that there was no reason that they should have to leave... To be quite honest, this mortal intrigued her.
She tilted her head, observing the man longer yet, and then she looked down at his mask again. She almost didn't want him to go, but she couldn't keep him there without an excuse...
Looking back up at him with a rather emotionless expression, she tossed the mask behind her into the center of the pool. “If you want it,” she said, “why do you not go and get it?” A slight smirk played on her lips. She wondered just how much fun this man could be.

Erik pursed his lips. She'd thrown the mask...He sighed. "Very well." How did he know that she would not try to drown him? Not that it would do her much good. He'd tried to drown himself before, it wasn't very effective. He stood. He didn't want to get all of his clothes wet...GOD, this was going to be degrading...
Erik disrobed, turning a brilliant red. Jacket, vest, shoes, socks, cravat...He pulled his shirt out of his waistband and unbuttoned it, pulling it off. He shrunk a little bit, feeling too exposed. All the scars were visible, and stood out in the lighting. He didn't like this. Not at all. Here he was, taking a swim with some woman...well...FEMALE. He shouldn't have come in here...GOD, he shouldn't have come in here.

The creature watched her Master's doppelgänger with curiosity. She had never seen another man so similar to him before, and the prospect of such greatly fascinated her. She had tossed the man's mask into the pool not because she wished to kill him (he was far too interesting for that), but simply because she wished to play with him. After all, being trapped in that lake all the time, she had to amuse herself somehow... This seemed to be her best option in doing so for the time being at least.
She rested her cold, damp hands and her chin on the deck, watching him to see what his reaction would be to her tossing the mask in the water. A mischievous smirk crossed her colorless lips as she watched him begin to disrobe, rather much enjoying the view. It would seem that the man planned on joining her for a little... swim. She let out a low purring noise as she watched him. His scars... they were much different than those of the Master, yet she found herself all the more intrigued all the more.
She sunk down beneath the surface once more. After all, she needed to coax him in a little it seemed. The man seemed to be a bit on the... shy side, judging from how red he turned upon disrobing. Oh, this was absolutely delicious! She settled along the bottom of the pool, her back resting along the floor as she stared up at the surface, waiting for a splash...

Erik took a deep breath. He'd lost sight of the creature...all the more dangerous. But what would it matter? He couldn't die, anyway. He eyed the pool. It was still....it was as good a time as any. He calmed his breathing, set his eyes on the mask, and dove in.
The water was cold, uncomfortable...It stung a little at his skin. He kept his eyes on the mask, swimming to it. He reached for it, looking around for the creature. There it was, it's dark emerald fin glinting in the moonlight. It looked strangely beautiful, but sinister...What a strange circumstance he'd found himself in.

((PG-13, PG-13, PG-13…))
The siren slithered along the bottom of the murky pool, her belly toward the surface as she moved so she could easily look up at her strange nude visitor there in the water. It wasn’t often she got guests with which she could actually play, so she wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity while it presented itself.
She climbed in the water so that she was a mere foot and a half or so below him in the water, swimming directly beneath him. A hair-like tentacle feeler reached up and brushed along the side of his ribcage in an oddly gentle manner as she continued swimming along with him, waiting for his reaction.

Erik shuddered a bit at the gentle contact from the creature's hair. It brushed his ribcage in a ticklish manner that made him want to squirm, but he thought that the slightest movement might set the creature off. He watched her swim below him, his eyes never leaving hers. She had electric blue eyes, cold and calculating and ruthless. But there was a curiosity there, it seemed. She was intrigued. It intrigued him, how she behaved in a slight playful manner here...
Erik got to the centre of the pool and picked up his mask. Looking at the creature, he cocked his head. He'd been under the water for a while now, and he wondered if perhaps she was curious as to why he didn't need the oxygen that normal people required. He smirked, pushing against the bottom of the pool and resurfacing, laying his mask on the side of the pool. This was quite the swim...

((Gentle, fishy. Gentle….))
The Siren, albeit generally the rough and rather dangerous type, enjoyed playing and having fun, much like a pet would in the company of their Master or someone else they had grown fond of. The fact that this bizarre man looked so very similar to her Master was reason enough for the half-fish creature to take a liking to him and want to play.
It was quite strange though. He didn’t seem to need to stop for breaths, like the other pathetic mortals she had witnessed swimming (or as in many cases, struggling to swim). This made her even more curious. Why was this? What made him so very different from the others?
She had never been the type to just sit there and to wonder though, so in her curiosity, she decided to search for answers, and in order to find those answers, it was time for a little more playing. Just how long could he go without needing air…?
Reproaching the strange skeletal man, she came quite close to him, gently brushing her long claws in a sort of could-turn-deadly-at-any-moment caress, and then wrapped her tail around his ankle and her tendrils around his wrists, forcing him to sink down for a while with her.

Erik planted his hands on the sides of the pool, but suddenly, his ankles were gripped together by a hard, scratchy, strong appendage. The creature's fin...He was pulled further under the water, and her hair wrapped around his wrists. He was incapacitated...
He struggled a little bit against the creature, searching her for weak spots. The scales, probably. He knew that reptiles hurt badly when the scales are irritated. If she became violent, he'd have to strike back there. He relaxed himself, allowing himself to go deeper with her. Perhaps she'd let him go. Animals usually were confused by limp prey, and she seemed to be more animal than woman.
This was fascinating....utterly fascinating...

Downward and downward they sank, deeper and deeper, until they hit the tiles of the bottom of the pool. The creature gently rolled over so as she had him pinned on the bottom of the floor and just sat there, staring at him with her pale, icy blue eyes.
What really baffled her was the fact that he was not drowning! She tilted her head a little, bringing a long, clawed, webbed finger up and tracing around his mask. He was a fascinating wonder in himself even to her. She’d never met a creature like him before… was he possibly some sort of a shape-shifter?
She kept him down there with her for a few more minutes (just to be sure that he wouldn’t die), and then loosened her grip ever so slightly and swam him up to the surface, still staring at him in curiosity.

Erik took a nice breath of fresh air. It filled his lungs and he looked at the creature. "Are we through playing, my dear?" He'd been just a bit frightened, to be honest, that she might rip him apart while they were at the bottom of the pool...He'd heard many stories of sirens before, and he was quite learned in the mythology behind them...
What was she toying with him for? Did she intend to kill him? Perhaps she was interested in him...or perhaps she was looking for her next meal.
"May I dry off...?" Why was he using niceties? Erik mentally slapped himself. This was a creature, not a woman...no matter whether or not she looked like one.

A sly and devilish smirk slipped into the corner of the creature’s colorless lips, her webbed fingers flexing in front of her and coming together at the tips, one by one. He really was quite the fascinating visitor. He looked like her Master, and yet he was clearly different from both him and from the ‘members of the human race’ he despised so and expected her to keep away.
The siren gave a series of clicks, swimming up close to his face (it was quite apparent that she had absolutely no respect for anyone’s personal space) and rested her claw-like nails on his shoulders. She stared at him rather calmly for a moment, slowly rising her tail up out of the water and then quickly slapped it on the surface of the water, creating a huge splash that drenched them both.
She gave a devious grin, her fang-like teeth evident, and dove backward into the water before popping back up and floating along on her back for a while, almost like an otter, her arms outstretched above her in a sort of flopped reclining position. She was done for now, though she did enjoy the playing quite a bit.

When the creature drenched the Erik in answer to his question, Erik couldn't help but laugh. She was clever, this one! And had a sense of mischievous humour. He liked that. When she let go of him, Erik found the wall of the pool and pulled himself out. The air was cold now, against his hair and skin. He walked over to his pile of clothes and dropped his mask on top of the pile.
Then he turned. Perhaps the creature would like to talk to him? Erik walked over to the edge of the pool, then sat there, cross-legged.
"Do you have a name?" Erik asked, placing his hand on the edge of the pool so his fingers traced the top of the water.

((Short post is short, but that’s really all she has to say XD))
The creature came over to the shore and rested her webbed hands upon it, staring up at her master’s doppelgänger. She shook her head when he asked her if she had a name.
“I need no name. I am the siren—guardian of my master’s lake, and the only guardian of the lake. I need no name to be distinguished.”

Erik pondered over that. She had a point. She was a rare creature indeed, something he'd never seen before. And then it snapped in his head. Rare...He could name her for her rarity, and perhaps she'd accept it? Only one way to find out...
"I should like to give you a name, my dear, so we may address each other freely...I do not believe that such a lovely creature as yourself should be lowered to being addressed by the name of her species...do you?" Erik tried to appeal to whatever vanity the creature had. He didn't think that she deserved to be called "Siren", it seemed too much like he was trying to be superior. Obviously whoever owned her assumed that he was superior to her.
But Erik knew better. He was not superior to this lovely creature. She was the new, more mysterious creature in the room right now.

The creature’s pale eyes scanned over her Master’s doppelgänger with curiosity. She had never been spoken to in such a matter. A name…. What was there in a name, really? She had never had need of one before. Why did she need one now? And yet, the way he regarded her made he feel strangely accepting about the idea. He had a respect for her which she craved…
Her eyes, intense with the thoughts that ran through her head, burned an icy gaze as she stared him down giving her answer. “What sort of a name do you have in mind?”
