Again, Roselin had confounded Erik. "This You Tube you speak of, they block or delete videos. I don't believe I understand one word of that..." He laughed when Roselin said Destler's Christine annoyed her. "I am sure there are many who have said the same of me." He became quiet again when Roselin seemed to sympathize with that Christine. "I would have to agree with you, Roselin. It would not be a pretty situation to be in..." He thought of Teressa and the little blonde Christine having been abducted by the despicable Destler.
"Phantomy? I don't believe I've ever heard that word before. Is it a proper word in the English language?" Erik smiled. "That book from 1911....the one that is in my future and your past. I haven't had much time to read it. I only started the first chapter when I was interrupted. It seems that happens whenever I pick it up." Then Roselin began to speak of adaptions of the book, silent film? What was that? movies? more book adaptions? the guy that played Erik? This was all too confusing. "Does this have anything to do with the strange play about my life that I viewed in the village?"
Love Never Dies...seemingly the title of a movie or play, he wasn't sure which and ...well, he was lost there. If this was something he could read or view, perhaps he should at some point to understand for himself. But not now. He wasn't ready for that. Roselin went on and on about how it couldn't be the person who played him in 1986 and someone else in 2010. Again, unexplainable things spouted out of this child. And people said Erik talked a lot!
"No, I do not understand what you are talking about that something is me in ten years and yet it isn't. That's not logical." Roselin mentioned a song from the musical. "It's a musical play?" asked Erik, truly trying to understand. If only Roselin could explain things logically. She was utterly, entirely illogical and confusing, and yet, a quite charming little girl. Erik smiled at her. He knew he could learn a lot from her if she would just explain things in a better logical progression. Oh well, it didn't matter. He liked her anyway.
