The New Year is coming and you know what that means!?
MASQUERADE!!!
Yes, FINALLY! Feel free to post an image of the costume your character will be wearing (especially if you don't want your character to wear the same thing that another character is wearing). Make sure you post the image under the account of the character that will be wearing the costume.

Adina's dress! (I think Adina probably did a lot of reading about the Victorian era and fell in love with the clothing and made her own dress. Probably before she died) And here's her mask:

OK.. this is the costume that Ana will be wearing to the Masquerade. She'll be going as Isis, the Egyptian Goddess, Wife to Osiris (the God who was killed by one of the Gods but resurrected by Isis and other Gods, even though he was mummified) and mother to Horus. These are bits and pieces of costumes put together to get an idea (I hope). A combination of Anne Baxter's Queen Nefretiri's gold costume and Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra costume. The main dress of spun gold like material. The usual Egyptian style for the wealthy that we are all so use to, even over the upper arms with a very see-through gold fabric. Perhaps a bit of decoration like some gold bead-chain or gold strip of fabric down the front. The headdress as seen here with the wings of Horus under the sun disk, horns and plumes with the gold 'hair'. The Wings of Isis are as you see at bottom right of the picture below with the Wings of Horus over them and do not cover the arms, more like a cape. Bracelets are of Horus, Ra, and Osiris. She's not wearing a mask however Ana's face is covered in a gold dust with her eyes and brows darkened black in the traditional Egyptian style for eyes. ~Lady B

Because Érik doesn't like repeating himself, he will not be attending the masquerade as the Red Death. HOWEVER, he does have something particularly menacing up his sleeve... He will be going as the Raven, from the Edgar Allan Poe poem! Watch out for him as he sings "Nevermore! Nevermore!"

Edouard will be coming to the masquerade as Napoleon. This is basically how he will dress. He will wear the hat, which is under Napoleon's arm in the painting. and his mask:

Lenoir wants to go as something opulent, and what better costume than that of Louis XIV, the Sun King, who ruled France for 72 years. Lenoir will of course be wearing his usual half mask. and the mask: Note: This is not my first choice for a mask. I was not able to copy the picture I really wanted. This one would not have the feathers if he is wearing it. The curly wig would be around the sides of it. And I thought the blue jewels looked somewhat like a crown.

My little Nutmeg sure does sparkle bright! Meg will be going as a Sparkling Diamond, a la Satine from Moulin Rouge! And this will be her mask!

Well... CC was originally going to be a macaw... but not this year! Instead, she decided to be a little more... aggressive. ;D And what better animal then a wolf? She even has some modern thrown into her costume! And Franc is going to be on her shoulder with a spiked dog collar to sort of go with CC's canine theme.

Oh, yes, Claude will attend the masquerade. But he will- of course- upscale Erik's Raven costume with something even more frightening: The Plague Doctor

Maria is going in an 18th c costume. A tough pick since Jane Seymour has been in two 18th c style films - Scarlet Pimpernel and Maria Antoinette! So, I picked this one, the wedding gown that Marguerite Saint-Just wore in Scarlet Pimpernel when she married Percy. and.. the mask...
