The Queen of the Night So since I play both Leroux and Webber Christine, I thought I would try to make a connection between the two somehow, to sort of play off of them being the same character in a sense, but ione a later on version of the other. Since in the show, Christine's costume is “The Star Princess” (I kid you not), it's meant to be sort of ironic (the original is the queen and the predecessor the princess). Since I've never really had much of a chance to go into Blondie's past at le Conservatoire, I figured I could do so a bit with this costume. “The Queen of the Night” is a role in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, which Christine Nilsson (Blondie's playby) was rather popular in. So I'm placing it as Blondie, while at the Conservatoire, performed in this opera. This costume is her old costume from the production, which arrived at the manor only recently. The costume consists of a flowing Empire-style gown with short sleeves, a silk ribbon belt, and with a train and drape attachments from the veil (like on Whitney Huston's fairy godmother costume, but I have no idea what those things are called). It is white lace over a patterned floral white silk with a silver and gold glitter to it, and a matching moon and stars tiara. It has simple silken white shoes with a one inch heel to them. Her hair is down, but back, pulled nearly straight at the top then cascading into ringlets where it's loose. The loose part of her hair is covered in a sheer white veil with silver and gold glitter, that comes off from the back of the starry tiara. The veil creates an extra train. Christine is wearing a white and gold paper maché Venetian domino mask. The base of the mask is gold on the left and fades at the nose to a silvery white on the right, with an elaborate gold metal decoration hanging off of it, studded with white diamonds, pearls, and yellow topaz. There is gold and white glitter also decorating the mask in a sort of paisley design. The eye openings are cat's eye shaped and lined with white glitter at the brow. The mask is fastened by a white ribbon that ties around the head to secure it in place. For jewelry other than the tiara and mask, she will of course be wearing her rings. She will also be wearing a matching necklace and earrings. The necklace is a string of pearls with various gold charms hanging off (primarily a large center one, but with three smaller evenly spaced on either side), which are studded with white diamonds and pearls, the center diamond being a pear cut. The earrings have a stud base, and drop down a good two inches. They are gold an covered in diamonds as well as a few pearls hanging down.

The Star Princess Okay, so I chose this outfit partially because I wanted some irony, and partially because it was easy since it's already from the Masquerade scene in the stage show. Misty shall be dressed as the Star Princess. Misty's costume is pretty self-explanatory. It's a pink, and purple lower-knee-length gown with silver trim. It is sleeveless, corseted, and has a low neckline (although it has nude-color “invisible” spaghetti straps to keep it up). The bodice is clearly separate from the skirt of the dress and has silver embellishing mainly across the breast and vertical silver decoration along the rest, along where the boning of the corset would be located.. It fades from purple at the top of the bodice to pink at the bottom of it. It ends with an edging shape reminiscent of flower petals. The skirt of the dress is rather poofy and a bit tulle-like, reminiscent of a long tutu. It is dark pink for most of the skirt and fades to pale pink at the very bottom. The hem is a squiggly cut. Periodically down the shirt is a silver embellishment of stars that drapes down the entirety of the length of the skirt. Accessory-wise, She is wearing white tights, silver shin-high lace-up boots with a two inch heel She is also wearing a silver star and moon tiara. Her mask is a silver domino on a stick with a sort of sunburst-style ornamentation coming off of it in all directions. She is wearing her hair down. (Please note that the dress in the second picture it from the Vegas production and has ruffled sleeves. She will be wearing the one from the Phantom 25th Anniversary production, which is why it is sleeveless and purple instead of blue, and has shin high boots instead of ankle high. The only huge difference between the Masquerade stage costume and the one she's wearing is that she doesn't have the “secret engagement ring,” as no one has been bold enough to ask yet and she hasn't accepted.)

Took a LONG time trying to figure out what Destler was going to wear and FINALLY came up with something. It's a little cross between a domino and some stylized costume; generally throwing something together. embroidered tunic with simple black trousers the cloak, a crushed velvet floor length thigh-high boots black mask ~Lady B

SUCCUBUS ….So I don't know what Carlotta's masquerade costume is legitimately called, but... since it has bat wings and is flashy and showy and kind of sheer-ish.... I'm calling her a succubus :I Because Mamma is sexay and she knows it :I Okay, so pretty much Carlotta's costume is exactly what it is in the stage show. She has her little black knee-lengths sheer cage dress that's off the shoulder with a beaded trim embellishment along the top of the beside at the neckline. She is also wearing black tights and black shoes. For jewelry, she has a silver chandelier necklace and a silver spider web style tiara.

Well, if everything goes according to plan- Leona might be able to be able to go to the masquerade. (ALIVE!) And if this does play smoothly, this is what she shall wear!

THE COWARDLY LION Okay, so it's not really the Cowardly Lion, since Gustave has never seen or read the Wizard of Oz, but Little GusGus is going as a lion. Gustave's costume is very simple and consists of a one-piece child's button-up lion costume. He will have a simple brown leather domino mask and be wearing brown shoes.

Charles and Emma are going as Hamlet and Ophelia! Emma is going to be wearing a long, white gown, as in this picture of Ophelia. The dress is off the shoulder, which straps of lace holding it up. Her hair will be down, with flowers interlaced in it (her hair reaches down to the small of her back). Her mask has flowers as well.

BASSOON So... It was either this or a naval officer.... and this is so much more original... seriously though, the fact that this costume even exists makes me happier than you can even imagine XD I think it's pretty self-explanatory. Nate is going to be a bassoon Don't judge me! Bassoons are awesome!

Last but not least of my characters, Gunner! Since Lu is going to be a Greek woman, Gunner decided he was going to be her warrior. Or also known as the GLADIATOR! *Crowd Cheers* But with a tan handkerchief to cover the bottom of his face better under the mask.

ODETTE, THE SWAN PRINCESS Teressa, being well-versed in dance and a lover of ballet, absolutely adores the idea behind Odette, the Swan Princess. It's a ballet she wants to perform in, and knows the choreography to VERY well. As such, she figures the costume fits her perfectly It's silk, lace, and gauze, with a full skirt and mutton sleeves. The collar completely encircles the head, giving her an Elizabethan look. There's elaborate beading on the sleeves and at the bottom of the bodice. The wings are gauzy and opaque, to represent the magic behind the wings of the Swan Princess' curse. She has a circlet crown that's made completely of lace and beads. Her mask is just a simple domino, in the shape of a swan's eyes and beak, with feathers hanging off of the sides.
