Roselin stood on the outskirts of the room, unsure what to do. Yes, most would think that she was the kind of party animal that would jump into any old conversation and go crazy and dance and stuff. However, that was definitely not the case. When there was a large group, she stayed to herself unless approached and just stood smiling as if she was apart of everyone's conversations, even if she was very alone. She had learned to be that way through school.
She watched new guests come in, most she recognized. Most of them were Christines and one was even a Meg, from the Love Never Dies she remembered. And then there was one girl who was wearing a mask that caught her attention the most. She breezed over to her, who was also with the Leroux Christine whom she had recognized when she had seen Erik's ring during their little meeting. "Hello Christine!" She greeted the bride brightly. Roselin then turned to the masked girl and decided, she wanted to be friends with her too. "Hi, I am Roselin! Whats yours?" She asked, smiling brightly.

The door to the Sitting Room where everyone gathered for Christine's Bridal Shower slowly opened. After a moment, a little old lady in a Hoveround entered as she somewhat struggled with the door and huffed. "Oh, where is that House Maid when you need her," she muttered to herself.
Shifting her eyes to her darling adoptive daughter once she got passed the doorway and smiled. Now she could not be restricted in mobility and was able to enjoy this lovely day with Christine as well as these other women whom she was looking over each one of them with curious critique. "Hello, my dear," Smiling back at the golden hair Christine as she approached then parked herself between a chair and sofa.

((Sorry this is so long. There was a lot to reply to after not being able to for so long XDD Thank God it's letting me see page 2... There's a paragraph response to each guest in order plus an introductory paragraph. Sorry it took so long x.x Hoping to get ahold of Mel today so we can at least attempt to begin the wedding thread.))
More and more people arrived. Christine honestly had not expected there to be so many people there at all, and when it seemed that most of the guests she had invited were actually coming, she couldn't help but to find herself a bit overwhelmed yet happy with the prospect.
Maria spoke to her in English again. She couldn't quite understand every word, but she could get the general gist of what was being said. English good, Miss Daaé... “Thank you", she said, smiling with a quick nod as she set down the pot of cooled tea. She only hoped that the past couple weeks of studying that phrasebook and the dictionary would pay off...
Teressa, the masked woman whom she had met in the library, entered and walked over to her, holding out a parcel. She took it and smiled brightly when she congratulated both her and Raoul, and wished them well. “Merci, Mademoiselle Lavalais,” she said, reverting back to her common and more comfortable French for a brief moment.
I think you better put ice in it for it to be 'iced' tea, love, Meg had said. The girl turned back to Meg, glanced down at the cups for a moment, giving a while for what she had said to set in, then realized it must just be nothing but tea with ice in it and looked back up at her again, nodding with a smile. She didn't have any ice there, but she could certainly go get some. “Thank you,” she said to her when she offered her congratulations, and she took the parcel, setting both that one and the one that Teressa had handed to her there on the nearby table.
Her eyes lit up when the blonde girl who seemed to be from this place – Roselin – approached and greeted her. “Hello, Roselin,” she chirped in English, picking up the phrasebook and happily holding it out to show to the young girl. “I find and study. Do you like iced tea?” She still had never tried the stuff, but if several of the guests seemed to like it, perhaps it really was good...?
She did not pay much attention to the sound of the door opening until she heard a familiar voice. Hello, my dear... She turned to see her dear old adoptive mother entering the room and her eyes widened a little with worry as she quickly left her guests for the moment to go attend to the elderly woman. “Mamma!” she exclaimed. “Mamma, you should have knocked so I knew to help you with the door....” She knelt down by the woman's chair, looking up at her much like she did when she was a little child. “Mamma, can I get you anything? There's some tea, but it's cooled. I can make you some fresh tea though if you like...” She did not bother trying with English here. She took the old woman's hands and squeezed them a little, offering her a smile. “What would please you?”

Meg nodded her head and fluttered toward the American woman, giving a musical "~De rien!" before she turned away.
She thought she might make the most of being in the presence of a fellow New Yorker, as she could tell from the brunette's accent. She stood near to her and smiled. "Hey there, Brooklyn! How'd you do?" she laughed. "It's nice to hear someone who sounds like home around here, no?"

So happy to see Meg again. She had often wondered about her since she'd not seen her in a while. No doubt she was incredibly busy. They were not those inseparable chorus girl dancers any more. Each having their own life and career. Oh, how time changes a person.
Glancing over the others who arrived with a curious weak smile then back to Meg as she grinned, "Of course. I don't believe I've tried Iced Tea though. Shall look forward to trying it though," keeping a sprightly attitude for a number of reasons.
Stepping away from Meg as she moved around to introduce herself as Christine Emilie the Vicountess de Chagny to the other women who showed up, including the young blonde named Roselin.

Better to be fashionably late than never. Carlotta came in through the double doors in a dark velvety green dress and her hair pulled up with light green ribbon. She had the widest, larges, most fake smile on. However, it looked very real and that was what she meant for it to do.
Carlotta clung to her matching green hand clutch and scanned the surroundings. What a cute little gathering... perhaps sometime soon I could take this little party up a notch. She thought to herself and snickered. Oh what a joy it was to have plans with great 'fun' in store for the little sapo Christine. She saw Christine standing next to a little blonde girl. She strode up to the taller blonde. "Ah, Christine! Felicitaciones por su próxima boda! Congratulations!" She said brightly.

Christine's head turned as she heard another entered the room and forced a smile onto her face when she saw who it was. She had honestly hoped that Carlotta wouldn't have come (the “invitation” had really been more of a polite gesture). Her colleague had insisted that they attempt to turn over a new leaf with each other, but Christine still wasn't quite completely convinced that was the case. It just didn't seem like the Carlotta with whom she had witnessed and been a part of so many unpleasant experiences in the past. But we are all supposed to forgive, are we not? She supposed it was worth a try. Perhaps, on some off chance, Carlotta really was being genuine in this wanting to start afresh...
“Thank you,” she managed through her smile. “Please, feel free to meet new people. There is some tea over there, but it's cooled,” she said, gesturing. “Though I was going to make a fresh pot if you'd prefer... Um... well then... I'm not sure who all here you've met before, but...” She began gesturing around the room to various people as she told their names. “This is Roselin, she's the flower girl. That's Emilie over there. She's my Matron of honor. That's Maria, and Meg, and Teressa... Oh! And over there is my mother, Adelaide Valérius.”

The room filled rather quickly with women and a girl. Certainly a colorful bunch, were they not? Her soft eyes dancing over each person as the golden hair Christine introduced each woman in the room to one another. Nodding to each with a gracious smile and now coming to the understanding that the Manor was indeed inhabited by a good number of people. She was ever more curious who else was here.
Moving to Christine and gently placed her hand on her shoulder, leaning towards her ear, "You attend to your guest, I shall attend to the tea. After all, this is your gathering and you should not have to do a thing other than plan your wedding!" Smiling at the younger woman and eager to assist her since she was now officially the Matron of Honor. Her duty, as she understood it, was to be of service to the Bride from now until after the Wedding. "Excuse me, ladies," and with that, the Vicomtesse departed from the room to get the hot tea.

Christine had honestly hoped to escape for a few moments. She had not expected Carlotta to actually come after she had been invited. After all, until this place, La Carlotta had given absolutely no effort to keep secret her distaste for Christine, and this entire 'turning over a new leaf' thing seemed... well... odd, to say the least. But it was too late to uninvite her now, and as of yet, she hadn't done anything to try to upset her...
“Thank you, Emilie,” Christine said with a smile and a nod as the woman left to go make a fresh pot of hot tea. She supposed that she should just relax. Thus far, everything at the party seemed to be going well. There was no sense in fussing over nothing.

Christine Svenna had never met Vincent's fiancé before, but as a guest to the wedding ceremony, she had received an invitation to the bachelorette party as well. She had figured that it was probably because the bride didn't have many friends there at the manor (perhaps she was knew), so she went along with it. After all, She did very much like parties...
It was a little after the event was scheduled to start, but she figured it would be fine to be 'fashionably late.' After all, it was fashionable, wasn't it? She greeted everyone with a large grin as she opened the door to the room where the event was being held, a small box in hand with a gift for the bride. She really didn't know many people there at all, but she was glad to see that she wasn't alone. “Hello everybody! Sorry I'm late.”
She really wasn't sure who exactly was Vincent's wifey-to-be, but she'd figure it out soon enough...

Another woman, whom Christine did not recognize, entered the room (albeit she did seem extremely familiar...). Christine was, quite naturally, a bit confused by such. After all, she had sent out the invitations herself, and knew everyone whom she had invited, except for...
“Svenna!” she greeted finally, when she realized who the other woman must have been. There was a woman whom her husband-to-be had met – Christine Svenna Daaé – whom he had invited to the wedding and whom she had invited to the bachelorette party, as she would have been the only lady there not invited otherwise, which did seem a bit rude... “I'm so happy that you could make it. I don't believe that we've met formally. My name is Christine Daaé. You know my fiancé, yes?”
She stood there, trying to figure out where she had actually seen the woman before though. After all, They were just now meeting, so why on earth did she seem so familiar?...

Christine Svenna could only assume that Vincent had told the woman his name. She must be Vincent's fiancée... And then she introduced herself as Christine Daaé. Christine Daaé!? Of course her name was Christine Daaé. Vincent had called himself Raoul, right? No matter. She'd just have to come up with a name for her as well – to avoid confusion.
“Oh, no worries, Angela. Yes, I know Vincent. He and I watched a movie together a while back. Nice guy. Doesn't talk much though. How are you doing? I brought something” And with this, Svenna handed the woman a wrapped box she had brought with her.

Angela?
Christine blinked in confusion. Raoul had told her how this rather odd woman had named him Vincent seemingly out of the blue. She assumed that the same thing had happened here, although she certainly wasn't expecting it. She had thought that maybe Raoul had been exaggerating just a little bit, although now it seemed not....
She took the box with a nervous chuckle and set it off to the side with some of the others that people had brought. At least with this other woman here now though she had an excuse to tear herself away from La Carlotta. “I'm well... Thank you. And no.... No, Raoul is a bit shy at times... I'm sorry, but have we met before? I don't think that we have, although you seem extremely familiar...”

Mamma simply made herself feel at home, glancing about at all the other women. My goodness! She never thought her darling adopted girl had so many friends! This only brought a smile to the old woman's face as she held her hands near her chest.
Eyes dancing over each one in wonder and curiosity, nodding to each young woman or girl whom was introduced.

Maria put her attention on the blonde named Meg Giry and smiled. Sounded like she had something in common and with a bright smile, "Of course! Likewise." Grinning, "Don't often know many who are from New York."
Maria's eyes dashed about as the rest were introduced and awaited the iced tea to be brought in.
