Erik, The Phantom - Friend, Protector & Angel of Music.
Count Philippe de Chagny - Lover
History:
Christine grew up poor and without a mother and any siblings on the outskirt of Paris, France. Her father, Gustave, raised her up on his own and the only way he could support himself and his daughter was through being a servant to the de Chagny family and playing his violin at fairs and in the town. When Christine was seven, she also began working to help her old, aging father. She would sing when her father played the violin and she became a young servant girl and helped serve the de Chagnys. Christine was seven when young Philippe came to live with his great aunt. They were the only two children in that big place.
During her childhood days she had created a friendship with Philippe. But things didn't turn the way she wanted them to. They had been caught and his nanny was very furious with him for playing with Christine. So, what was there to do but fire them. On the road now with her father she performed with him in fairs and other traveling company's. Her father then passed away when she was thirteen years old and she didn't know what to do from then on.
As time went on she was beginning to look for work. Luckily she found some at the Palais Garnier as a seamstress for the Opera and many other things. That's when the Diva Carlotta came into play. Christine had begun working for her when her henchman Joseph Bouquet suddenly vanished. She had no place to stay but the manager of the Opera or doorman of the Opera as it would seem showed her a secret place. A place where she could stay and be. Christine kept her promise upon not telling anyone that she lived underneath in the basement.
Christine had decided to explore a little after setting up and she was humming while doing it. After a while she was upon the stage collecting things from the rehearsal of the opera they were about to put on. That's when she came in contact with the Phantom himself. He said he had heard her singing in the Opera House that night when she was exploring. He promises to take her under his wing as his student.
When the voice lessons began she asked him questions and he gave her answers. She was beginning to like him and it was interesting. Though she seemed trapped because she was developing feelings for the Count. On the opening night of the Opera she was told that she was going to be replacing Carlotta.
Things started to break out and she didn't understand upon what was going on. She saw him come down from Box Five since he was watching her and he saved her from the panic that she was facing with the audience. He brought her to his lair and she fell asleep within the bed in there.
After her nights rest she found a dress and placed it on. Everything was going well and she was confused upon where she was. And especially where he was. What was this place? As she explored most of the lair as it began to transform into a manor. This wasn't the Opera Populair anymore but it was a manor. It was stunning and Christine was lost and confused upon where her maestro was. Hopefully within her time here she will find him.

Once awaking within the lair portion of the Opera, Christine had found the dress and placed it on. It felt nice and much more comfortable than the costume she was brought down in. Her eyes darted around her surroundings and wondered where Erik was. Opening the door she was in a new place and she started walking around the Manor. What was this place? Why was she here? Christine didn't know. All she wanted to do was find her master who taught her to sing. Perhaps he was here.
She was silent whilst her journey within the manor begun. Everything was different and she continued on walking around the halls and making her way to the foyer of the place. This wasn't home. This wasn't a place she intended to be. Christine was confused and she wondered where he could be. "Maestro?" she called curiously as she entered another room and saw someone standing there within it. All Christine hoped was that she wasn't dreaming nor would she hope this wasn't a trick. Even if it was a dream she'd wake up from this nightmare.
"Maestro!" she called again as she saw the man's back. Hopefully he'd hear her. Erik was supposed to be her proctor wasn't he? What was this place. Christine had so many questions that needed to be asked. "Forgive me, Monsieur.." she began as she noticed it wasn't him. "You just looked like my teacher from behind" she said sighing and backing out of the room to go explore some more and wondered where he could be.
