Basic Information
Age: She died when she was 44, around the mid 1800s.
Canon or OC?: OC Ghost[/size]

Appearance
Body type: Leona is slender and tall, her constant strait back also keeps her looking like her full height. She would walk in small shuffling steps, though as of late of being a ghost, she tends to just glide smoothly and quietly.
Eye color: Her eyes when she was living were dark chocolate brown but now as a ghost, they look black and deep.
Wardrobe: When she was alive, she would ware some fairly expensive outfits. Though, her color scheme usually revolved around black, blue, dark red, and gray. Though because she had died in her favorite black dress, as a ghost, she is constantly seen in just that. She also ware's silver spectacles, even as a ghost. And silver earnings that hang down from her earlobes.
General Appearance: Leona, when she was alive, wasn't really pale at all. She had a soft tan face with rose pink, natural, blush over her cheek bones. She hardly ever wore any make up as she didn't really need it all that much. And even at the age of 44, she hasn't a single wrinkle on her face, it had remained smooth and pretty. She also constantly wore most of her blond hair up in a bun.
In death, shes a bit less....cheerful looking. Her large eyes had become charcoal black, matching her largely shoulder poof dress. And her skin, still smooth as ever, looks to be a glowing white, not at all human like. She resembles much of a person in a black and white photo. Though she seems to be quite frightening as her big black eyes stare and her deathly white skin slightly glows, shes really nothing to be afraid of at all. And sometimes, if she has enough energy to do so, she sometimes can change her eye color back to the beautiful brown eyes she use to have and sometimes be able to look like she has normal skin once again.
Played By: Meryl Streep

Personality
When Leona was alive, she was a very cheerful and happy woman. Although, she was a bit difficult to talk to as she sometimes got very sensitive over certain topics, usually on ones she felt strongly about. She would either get extremely irritated that someone had the opposite opinion as her on something or easily become offended, and being over dramatic as she is, would either ramble off on how horrible her idea or opinion was and that she wished she had never said it or storm off in a huff. However, if one were to avoid such a situation with her, they would have found that conversing with her is rather pleasant.
Since an unfortunate event (see what I did there? ;D) in her life, she sort of went a bit off her rocker. Though really, it only kind of shows fairly rarely, but also frequently if speaking about her death. And unlike many other ghost, she is not at all sensitive about her death. However, she is very much so about what lead her to her death. Leona can actually sometimes be quite humorous over her own death, which is when her bit of madness shows. The fact that she could even so be openly talkative about her death and even be able to joke over it sometimes should be enough to see that something long ago in her life when she was living had made something snap in her, even if ever so small.

The Past
Father: Eric Aden Rayfeild
Mother: Isabel Rayfeild
Younger Sister: Annabella Rayfeild
Husband: Emerson Hayfolt
History:
Leona was born to Mr. and Mrs. Rayfeild. Healthy baby girl with no complications at birth. Leona was a bit spoiled as a baby, given only the best of things for a young one. Her parents were fairly rich and had a beautiful estate. When Leona was four years old, her parents had another little baby girl, and named her Annabella. Since the two girls births, their parents had set up who they were to marry. Leona was to marry Mr. Emerson Hayfolt and Annabella was to marry Mr. Herbert Ark Carri.
Leona and her sister were brought up and taught to be fit into society. While Leona was just fine with trying to fit into society, Annabella was more rebellious and didn't want to fallow her parent's plans or try to fit into society. Annabella often spoke with Leona in private about her feelings, and she always gave her ear and listened, but she never offered her own opinion because she knew that Annabella would just say otherwise. Their parents never suspected ever felt that Annabella would go against their wishes.
Their parents sent them both to attend ballet classes as they saw it fit that their daughters would learn about the art of dance. Little eight year old Leona enjoyed ballet greatly but her sister thought lowly of it and did poorly in it. And in times when Leona was not in ballet, she grew fond of writing, a hobby which Annabella also enjoyed. Many times, Leona and Annabella would exchange ideas and creative plots to write into journals also full of random doodles and stay ideas. And when the girls grew up, Leona would sit and have tea with some other high statues ladies while Annabella enjoyed being more about the men.
When Leona turned twenty two, she was introduced to her future husband, Mr. Hayfolt. Leona instantly fell in love with the handsome and charming young man. A year later, they were married. And on their wedding night, it was the last time she would see her sister for even a year after that when Annabella would marry, Leona had not been invited to her wedding. Leona had been damaged by the lack of an invite from her and her husband but she kept to her sister's wishes and had not gone to the wedding. Leona's parents had later written to her that they too, had not been invited but all the relatives on Mr. Carri's side had gone. No one understood why.
For two years since their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Hayfolt had been trying for children. They always were born to prematurely or dead. The doctor had then told them that trying for two years was long enough and if they tried any more, they may just kill Leona from one of the births or she might get internal bleeding which would also cause death. And so they did stop trying, but they it became less and less frequent that Leona's husband would come home and around her, he was always so dreary. Even though she loved him still and tried to keep cheery around him. And with her husband constantly away on business, Leona decided to become a ballet teacher at the age of thirty, becoming Madam Leona.
At the age of forty, Leona decided that it was time to stop being a ballet teacher. However, she kept her name as Madam Leona and although it was proper to be called Madam Hayfolt, she enjoyed being called by her first name. And in her new spare time after quitting being a ballet teacher, she continued to pursue her love for writing and drawing. Though, the times her husband was at home, he didn't feel that it was proper that she should write stories and that she should just continue to be lady like by having tea with other women or watching over others children. However, she did not. And in these times, she attempted quite a few times to try and write to her sister, however, she never replied back to her.
Leona was fortyfour when she was in her and her husband's bedroom in her their very large home estate, at the very top, which was quite very high from the ground. Leona was organizing the room a bit which she came upon a letter. It was addressed to her from her husband, he had been gone for nearly a week now. She was in a rather happy mood when she had started to read the letter. But then, things became extremely horrible. In the letter, the first thing that was written was 'I am sorry'. It then had continued on that after they two years they had tried to have children, he had been having an affair with her sister which is why he had been gone most of the time. And that he would not be coming back every again and that he and her sister were to run off to America and marry.
After reading this, Leona crumpled up the piece of paper. Her hear was broken and tears now steadily ran down her face. Then, with all the breath in her body, she screamed out at the world. Her husband had stopped loving her for years and had been having an affair, with her sister of all people! With all her strength, Leona pushed her large dresser in front of her door, just in time before some of the maids tried to open the door. Leona ran to the other side of her bedroom where there was a large circular window and afternoon light pouring in. She swung open the window, crying madly, then stopped as she saw the sunny outside world. That's when she turned and began to laugh. She laughed and laughed and laugh and it sounded nothing like one from someone amused, but a laugh of someone who had just snapped.
Leona sat on her window edge and had stopped laughed. She closed her eyes contently and for a moment, felt the warm sun shine down on her back. She didn't care that it had started to burn since she was in her favorite black dress. Then, just before some servants were going to brake through the door, she let herself fall backwards out the window. In the middle of the fall, she blacked out and her heart stopped just before she hit the ground. For a long moment, she felt nothing. And only saw blackness around her. But then things began to clear again and she was stood next to her body which laid cold on the ground in a puddle of red. "I so do look good in red..."She whispered to herself. Some of the help from inside came and one of them screamed at the sight of her dead body. Leona felt light and free and yet... still bound. And she realized that she would not be going anywhere as she could neither go up or down. She was a ghost.
Suddenly, time seemed to flash by her. It was as if she were stuck to her spot and her body was quickly removed from her sight. Day and night became inseparable and impossible to tell apart and she watch as her beautiful estate decade and then was suddenly rebuilt. And that's when time became slow and became normal. It was winter and late in the evening. The newly built mansion in front of her was some how pulling her towards it. She went in to the manor that beckoned her and had taken its place upon where she use to live. Leona went in and had soon found that there were two living people here... as well as others like herself. Dead. Leona did not become to well known with the ghosts, though she had been acquainted to most of them. And she had learned a bit about the owner, Charles, and his girl, Emma. In her time there, and never being able to get away, she learned more on how to control things and things she was able to do as a ghost.
Many years past after-wards and the ghosts had began to get themselves into some 'fun'. They had found these books and movies about some... Phantom of the Opera. Madam Leona took part in some of these summonings, mostly helping out when pulling any of the Eriks or Christines from their places. Her main reason for pulling out the characters in the first place was mainly because she wished that they would finally have their happy endings. Lenora had noticed that most, if not, all of the Eriks did not have happy endings and she wished to change that. Lenora had always been slightly obsessed with people's happily ever afters. Perhaps it was because she was a writer and also loved to read. Or perhaps, it was because she never got her happily ever after with her husband. And although she had died with the ring on her finger, she no longer called herself Leona Hayfolt, but instead, went back to her maiden name and also continued to be called Madam Leona. She had enjoyed watching the Eriks roam about the halls, but not till just recently had she decided that she would speak with those living characters that she helped pull out.
RP Sample
Leona floated about the halls with nothing much to do or thing about. If she were still alive, she would probably be using this time to write in one of her journals. However, she was not, at she had yet to run into any of the other ghosts of the manor to speak with.
It was then, she saw a man walking down the hall, coming from the newly instaled elevator. He wore a cape and walked with a walking cane. She then moved quickly in front of him and saw it was a man with a white mask, blond hair, and bright blue eyes. (Carriere!) "Hello dear fellow..." She said happily, but the man apparently didn't hear her for he went on his way, ignoring her.
Madam Leona sighed and driffted away, through the wall to another hall. Perhaps she would run into somone else, perhaps one of the other masked men. Suppose she hadn't drawn enough energy for the other masked man to have heard her. Oh well... there was always next time...
