“You are strong, dear,” she said, quite honestly. “And do you know how I know that you are strong?” She mused upon him, resting in his arms and waiting for any answer he bothered to suggest in response to her question. She smiled a little and continued on.
“I know that you are strong because you are strong enough to not be afraid of crying. You are no coward, dear. A coward would not have gone after me when I had been taken. You are a brave man, Raoul, and I'm sure that our son or daughter will most definitely look up to you and see you that way.”
