I'm going to my grandma's house for the rest of the week, probably, to take care of her. She's been having eye and chest problems and she's upset after learning we just had to put down our dog of 13 years. I guess this is also a goodbye for her.
My dog Skully was bitten by a deadly snake a few weeks ago. We thought with medicine it would go away, because she was alive by the time we figured it out it was a fatal bite. It didn't clear up, and we found out the snakebite had been covering a cancerous tumor. Just this morning she'd started scratching at it and pulling out her fur, and my parents decided it was time to put her to sleep. I've had her since I was four years old... She was my birthday present. I named her Skully, even though the spelling is different, after Dana Scully from the X-Files, something I used to watch with my dad all the time. I named her that because she had bright red fur, like Dana Scully had bright red hair.
I... Well, um... I just need some time, that's all. I hope you all can forgive me. I wanted to RP all this week, but I don't think I can right now. I just need to focus on helping my grandma and getting some schoolwork done. Maybe do some reading I haven't done in ages.... But I promise I'll try to get on every once in a while this week.
Happy posting guys, and don't forget to nominate in the awards!

There's nothing to forgive, Leffie. Your grandmother, dog, and schoolwork are all more important than role playing. We'll all miss you, of course, but completely understand. Take as much time as you need. Just don't overstress yourself.

::: hugs to Leffie:::: My deepest condolence, Leffie. The loss of a pet is truly a deep one. After all, they are family. They give so much unconditional love, become your best friend. Again, my greatest of condolences and sympathies. At least you have memories with your pet. And prayers for your Grandma. That's rough, too. Take care. ~Lady B
