Personality
When away from her duties, Adina teaches herself to play the harpsichord and how to sew. Her standoffishness towards men stems from how her abusive and often drunk father treated her after her mother died. Now that she herself is dead, Adina regrets not standing up to her father or knowing what her mother was like. Because of this, she continues to keep a close eye on the servants and feels even more bitter towards the male servants.
Dreams and Goals: She dreams of making a name for herself one day
Strengths: Quick learner,
Weaknesses: Her bluntness, shyness, and strict attitude.
Fears: Someone raising their hand or voice to her, losing face in front of the other servants, losing the people she holds closest to her heart.

The Past
History: Adina Gillespie had a very poor relationship with her father. Her father treated her badly after her mother died in childbirth. He was often drunk and beat her with a switch, blaming her for her mother’s death. To escape the physical and emotional abuse, she would often steal her father’s books and taught herself to read to try and educate herself on how be a proper woman and take care of herself and others when she grew up. She was determined not to be like her father. She kept many of his books after he died. Shortly after his death, Adina was sent away to work in the manor at age 5 because she was an orphan. She has lived, and died, there ever since.
Adina worked hard kept to herself, slowly allowing the other servants into her life. She grew to love the ladies and looked up to them like the missing mother figure she never had. She eventually became that very mother figure and won the hearts of many of her fellow employers. She got to be the head servant because of her strict attitude towards the others and her efficiency of getting the job done. However, she tends to either shy away from the men because of her past or scolds them more harshly than the female servants which led to her own death. She was drowned by one of the cooks in the washroom where she had been cleaning.

The horrific rush of water pounded against her eardrums as the cold, soapy fluid filled her lungs. The strong, merciless hands tightened around her throat and held her head down in the wash-basin. She kicked and tried to scream but all that came out were bubbles and belches of water. The detergent stung her eyes as they gazed up in terror as the cook kept her down. The last thing she saw were the yellow, crooked teeth of the man grinning down at her and heard his deep voice laughing with his Cockney accent. Her mortal coil faded away and her lifeless eyes stared blankly up from her watery grave…
Adina drew in a long, gurgling breath and bolted upright, sitting up in the water. She looked around to find herself alone. The manor was silent and decaying, cobwebs and dust covering the furniture and floor. She stood up and turned to try and look at her reflection but there was nothing… “What in-?” She murmured before suddenly remembering being held underwater… She was dead! Dead!! No longer in human form but now a mere phantom of her former self.
