Roselin sat at the front of the stage, her knees up with her face hidden behind them and her arms wrapped around her legs. Beside her was a news paper. Now usually, she wouldn't look like this after reading the news paper, but there was something different about this one from all of the rest. In the obituary, read her father's name.
Apparently her father had been found two days after his actual death from alcohol poisoning, he had been thrown behind an abandoned building, rotting for the next two days. But most of it had been about Roselin. They had claimed she had gone missing but is still sometimes seen happily walking through the village. Some claimed that she could have been a ghost of their imagination. But all that didn't even matter to Roselin... what mattered was that she abandoned her own father.

Where was that girl? Carlotta had expected to see Roselin earlier on that day. After all, there was a My Little Pony marathon on, and the diva had already prepared the snacks and chocolate for it. What could be taking the girl so long? It wasn’t like her to just skip out without any sort of a prior warning…
With this thought, Carlotta had begun to search for the girl in every place she could think if in the manor: at the piano where they practiced together sometimes, in the garden, in the ballroom, in the dining room…. It wasn’t until she came to the Opera House that she caught sight of the teenage girl sitting on the stage with her face buried in her knees and a newspaper sitting beside her.
Was something the matter? The diva moved closer and plodded up the steps on the side of the pit. “Roselin? Bambina, what is the matter?”

Roselin hugged her knees tighter when she heard Carlotta call out to her. She was afraid that if she were to speak, she wouldn't be able to stop the tears that were already trying so hard to form in her eyes. She promised herself a long time ago that she would always be strong and happy, she wouldn't have to ever cry again.
She then remembered that she had things planned today, My Little Pony and snacks to be specific, and it was going to be very fun! Roselin rose her head, trying to breath calmly. "I am sorry-" She choked out. She had been right, the moment she uttered the words, tears began to stream down her face and she gasped sharply before shoving her face back into her knees, trying to stop herself from crying which only made her cry harder.

Carlotta wasn’t entirely sure what was going on here, but she could definitely tell from the girl’s demeanor that something had happened to upset her. She was not at all her usual cheery and bouncy self that the diva generally enjoyed spending her time with…
Roselin apologized and suddenly started choking on tears, at which Carlotta knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that something was wrong. She went to the young girls side and sat on the stage beside her (though she had a feeling there would be hell attempting to get back up again from this) and rested a hand on her back. “Shhhh… Cara? Bambina, what is the matter? Why are you crying?”
