Once awaking within the lair portion of the Opera, Christine had found the dress and placed it on. It felt nice and much more comfortable than the costume she was brought down in. Her eyes darted around her surroundings and wondered where Erik was. Opening the door she was in a new place and she started walking around the Manor. What was this place? Why was she here? Christine didn't know. All she wanted to do was find her master who taught her to sing. Perhaps he was here.
She was silent whilst her journey within the manor begun. Everything was different and she continued on walking around the halls and making her way to the foyer of the place. This wasn't home. This wasn't a place she intended to be. Christine was confused and she wondered where he could be. "Maestro?" she called curiously as she entered another room and saw someone standing there within it. All Christine hoped was that she wasn't dreaming nor would she hope this wasn't a trick. Even if it was a dream she'd wake up from this nightmare.
"Maestro!" she called again as she saw the man's back. Hopefully he'd hear her. Erik was supposed to be her proctor wasn't he? What was this place. Christine had so many questions that needed to be asked. "Forgive me, Monsieur.." she began as she noticed it wasn't him. "You just looked like my teacher from behind" she said sighing and backing out of the room to go explore some more and wondered where he could be.

Confusion. Lots and lots of confusion. Erik sat in the fifth box in the opera house. Since Christine's latest disappearance, he had been slightly less heart broken and more angry. She had promised to give him one last chance... and she left before giving her decision. He still loved her... that angel... her voice... her beauty... all of her. But things continued to change somehow and he had met Erika.
When he had first met Erika, he thought her very different, which she was. She wore a mask such as the other Eriks, and she spoke German, but she also was not at all afraid of his face. From that exact moment he liked her. At first he thought it was just as friends... he felt protective over her and did everything he could to help her. But he slightly realized... he may have really fallen for Erika as well. And yet she was not Christine... but still, he felt.... felt love. Erik sighed heavily. Such confusion, his heart being pulled in two directions.
But since Christine had not returned for a long while... he was beginning to truly doubt that he would see her again. And the only reason this didn't brake him into pieces was because... because he had someone else. He still had Erika... and who knows what they could grow into. If Christine never returned to him... perhaps Erika was truly the one for him. It was strange to think that. When he had first arrived to the Manor, all there was, was Christine. He cared for nothing else but to see her and would never think of another. And then time went on and events took place, and here he had changed... now ripped in half as he fell for another. Perhaps this was what Christine felt... so torn between people and yet somehow, he still couldn't bring himself to like the idea of her loving others.
Erik sighed heavily and stared out at the stage, placing a white gloved hand on the edge of the box railing. "Oh Christine..." He sighed then looked down. "Erika..." Twisted every way, what answer could he give? He then sat back in the shadows of the box. He put the head of his cane to the forehead of his white mask and closed his eyes. Confusion. So much confusion. He heard someone enter the opera house but he didn't look to see who it was. Erik stayed silent, wishing for an answer to his questions. He definitely did not expect to ever feel like this, though he would hope that the feeling wouldn't grow worse. It was such a confusing feeling. Erik's eyes then opened wide as he heard a familiar voice singing. His bright blue eyes peered at the stage and the person he saw made his heart flutter for a moment. "Christine..." He whispered.

Christine had been wondering around the Manor for sometime and made her way through the Opera House portion. It reminded her of the Garnier at home in Paris. But slightly different of course. As she entered the room she looked around her surroundings and she headed up towards the stage like she did when first got there. Her eyes examined the area and she started humming out of no where. While she was humming she continued to start twirling.
A few moments later she heard silence and it was nice. Then she heard her name being called. Stopping she looked around curiously wondering who was there watching her. The only man she knew who would call her like that was her maestro. Her protector. "Erik?" she called curiously looking around bringing her hands close to her wondering where he is. "Where are you?" she called. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming" she said again as she scanned the opera for him.

That voice- perfect in every detail. And as much pain as she had caused him before, she had also given him so much. He stared at her for a moment, not visible to her eyes. She had heard him and had asked where he was and hoped that she wasn't dreaming. Her last words confused Erik some. What did she mean? "I'll be down in a moment Christine." He said to her and then disappeared from the box.
He then appeared in the orchestra pit, just as he did the first time he had spoken to Christine. He suddenly felt very excited, almost like how he had been nervous the first time. He couldn't exactly understand why he was feeling so excited. The other times he had seen her, at least recently, where much more sorrowful and even anger felt, but this one was almost as if it was... starting all over again. "Christine... it is good to see you doing well..." He said to her as he swiftly stood on the conductor's platform.
Erik then suddenly felt very guilty. He had fallen for another woman... but still loved Christine all the same. He couldn't... couldn't explain... or even hint of it to her. At least not now.. not until he could figure everything out a little more and see where Erika's heart, Christine's heart, and his own heart truly wanted. He wanted to ask her where she had gone, where she had disappeared to, why she had left. But that would all come in good time, he would really rather things stay pleasant for at least a little while. He then also realized that she was wearing the dress that had been in the room that he had reserved for her in his domain. Had she just been in there recently?
"I can tell you quite confidently, you are not dreaming."

Hearing Erik's voice she closed her eyes and nodded her head. She never saw him anywhere. He was always like that, Christine looked around her surroundings as she told her and this placed her reminded her of home. Hoping one day she'd return there. Turning around she noticed he was in the orchestra pit. It was like when they met the first time.
Christine stood there and studied him. He looked the same and she didn't know what to do or say at this point. She restrained herself from hugging him for some reason and she didn't know why. But she wanted to but she held herself back. She couldn't bring herself to talk to him for a moment and she nodded her head when he spoke to her. Her eyes just studied him for some time and she walked a little closer but stopped.
The young singer looked around and she closed her eyes then opened them back up again to stare at her teacher. "I'm not?" she said softly. "It feels like its a dream, feels like a long dream, a dream I cannot wake up from" she said looking away from him. Christine looked back at him and said nothing for a while and then started to think. "This place... is strange. I only arrived here hours ago. Still trying to know my way around" she told him. "H-How long have you been here Erik?" she asked him as she remained where she was and stared at him. After that she said nothing else and only darted her eyes around the room to study everything. It was a replica of their home but it wasn't the same.

Erik nodded slightly when she said that it felt like a long dream that she could not wake up from. Erik felt slightly the same but he knew better, if this were a dream, he would have woken up by now. Months and months do not pass by in dreams. At least not in any that he had ever had before. He thought nothing of her unusual quietness because it really wasn't all that unusual, not any more.
Her next set of words came as a surprise to him though. She had just arrived hours ago? What on earth did she mean? She then asked him how long he had been here. For a moment he could not bring himself to answer. How could she possibly say that she had only arrived hours ago? She had been here for nearly as many months as he had been. How could she say hours? "Christine..." He started, looked away from her slightly, thinking, then looked back at her. "I have been here for quite a few months... this place is strange, I must agree. He started.
Why does she say that she had only arrived hours ago... did she mean from the village? No, she couldn't have, with the way she acted... the way she looked at him..... it was so much different. In fact, it was almost as if she had no memories of what had happened between them at the manor. But so much had happened. How would she have not remembered it? "Christine... what is it you remember before coming to this... this strange place? Where were you and what had been going on? I don't mean to sound strange myself but I can assure you, it could be quite important." 'No.. it is quite important,' Erik thought. It could be after she had seen his face... or perhaps before... but when before. From what he could tell... she had just come from sometime she had been in his domain.

As she stood there she looked around and then heard her name. Turning to face him again she said nothing for sometime. "Yes?" she asked curiously looking upon her maestro. She was happy to see him but this wasn't her home. Their home to say. A sigh escaped Christine and she paced around the stage for sometime. "You have?" she asked as he spoke to her and she looked at him. "So far, I've seen so many different rooms and many different people. I was wondering when I was going to find you as well" she said softly as her eyes continued to stare at him.
Christine said nothing for a moment and listened to his next set of questions. The young blonde looked at him still as he questioned her. "I remember... a few things before arriving here" she told him. "I remember a room, and water underneath the Opera House. And... a few other things but at the moment they are fuzzy" she said in a small voice. "I'm sorry I can't remember much before I got here. I just remember seeing things change in front of me" she told him. Her eyes studied him for some time and she said nothing else after that.
It was a great relief to know he was here before her and that he was alright. Christine looked about again and got lost in her own world and she didn't know what else to talk about. She couldn't bring herself to do so. Christine looked back at him and said nothing. Waiting for his answer and she walked off the stage towards him.

Erik listened as she told him that she remembered a few things. Though, nothing that quite told him when she had came other than what he could already tell. Except for when she said that things changed in front of her... he had never heard that before. When Erik had spoken with other residents of the manor, most of them had come through a form of sleeping or falling or something of the sort where it goes dark for a moment. So Christine's story was quite different. Especially different from her story from before...
Erik was silent for a moment. It was the same Christine he knew... it was her. But yet... its like she had been restarted. She didn't seem to remember anything about their time at the manor... and stranger yet that she now said that she came after the time he took her down to his domain, which he hadn't experienced himself though he had gotten to watch the moving picture with Christine within one of the first few weeks of living here. Had he not seen that, he would have had no idea what Gerard and Christine now would have been talking about.
"Its alright Christine but... do you really not remember anything?" He asked, with some confusion in his eyes. She had to remember their time together at the manor... it didn't make any scene for her not too. How would it be possible for her not to have remembered? When he had asked her if she really didn't remember anything, what he meant was did she not remember any of their time at the manor? He hated to sound so strange toward her but... but it should not sound so strange if she would just remember!

Christine continued to walk towards him and when she got to him she said nothing. Silence was with her as she placed her hands behind her back and she had the resist the urge to hug him. "Not at the moment, No. I wish I could Erik" she said looking at him and said nothing after that. Unclasping her hand from her back she slowly reached out and touched him. She smiled with she did and said nothing as she studied him and felt him.
He felt warm and she just wanted to hug him. "Its nice to see you Erik" she said smiling softly and then she moved closer to him and she wrapped both arms around him. Hugging him a bit. Christine closed her eyes and then she looked up at him. "I want to thank you though. I never did at the Opera house, for what you've done for me. You taught me to sing, and help me become.....known in Paris" she said softly. Her eyes locked with his for sometime and then she pulled away from him.

Erik was silent for a moment as she spoke, he let the sound of her voice roll around in his mind, like listening to a heavenly sound that could disappear at any moment. He then glanced at her hand, almost forgetting how it had felt to feel the warmth of her hands. It was like he had been slowly reverting back to his ways before Christine, not that he noticed but now he did with her return.
Erik smiled a little when she said that it was nice to see him, he was the momentarily stunned when she hugged him. He half way hugged her back, making the motion but yet not quite making contact. He felt almost foolish, he felt like he was doing something wrong. He then stared back into her beautiful brown eyes as she looked up at him and thanked him.... she thanked him. She then had let go of him but for some odd reason, that finally got his arms to fully respond. Not another moment was it after she had let go that he pulled her back into his arms. He gently hugged her and smiled a bit. He couldn't find words, only feel the warmth of her being in his arms again.

Silence was with the both of them after Christine spoke. She hadn't had the courage to thank him properly for teaching her how to sing and making her famous. "I want to thank you again, for everything really" she said softly as she hugged him. "I've never been so happy to meet with someone who was from my time" she said sighing. Her eyes closed suddenly and then she pulled away from him as she eyed him at this point.
Christine looked up at him as he pulled her back into his arms. She was in shock and she wrapped her arms around him again. Not saying anything. She loved him, yes. But she hadn't gotten the guts to do so. The young opera singer didn't say much and she said nothing. It was nice to feel someone she knew within her arms and she looked back up at him for sometime. "Really though, thank you for everything you've given me, and done for me Erik." she whispered to him. She wanted him to know how grateful she was to have him in her life.

"My pleasure." He said simply with a smile when she had thanked him again. This Christine... was so different. It was the same Christine and yet she was so different, could the time she had come and the months spent between them at the manor have changed her so much... and then her to sort of... restarting and be like this? It quite frankly, rattled his mind, but he loved her all the same.
He resisted the urge to kiss her. Erik almost felt as if it would be wrong... since she wasn't the same, they hadn't gone through the same things anymore. She was completely different. Would she mind terribly if he did kiss her? He felt lame... unworthy of her again just as before, which is what Christine had said, that had ruined them. She told him that he could not love her as she needed... perhaps this was his chance to start over again. As much as he would have liked for her to have not forgotten all that had happened.... perhaps it was for the better.
Erik hugged her for a moment longer before releasing her but then held onto her hand. It was wonderful to have Christine back with him. But then... there was a shooting pain in his heart as he looked at Christine. For although he loved Christine dearly... his heart did not completely go to her. It also went to Erika, who had been with him when Christine had disappeared... and had made him feel happy again. Like he was not completely lost to love... and that even if Christine never returned... he had Erika who their relationship could grow into something beautiful. But Christine had returned, and his heart now was torn between the two. Was this what Christine felt between him and the Vicomte?... and Comte?
Erik began to lead her away some. "Would you like to stay in here for a little longer, Christine? Me and... another man have some plans for this opera house. Its going to take quite a bit of work and hopefully we will get more people who will be able to help us refurbish this back to is former glory. The man's name is Lenoir, perhaps you have met him?" He paused looking at her then continued on. "Or perhaps you would like to move on? There is the kitchen if you are at all famished, and the garden where I have adopted- or rather he adopted me- a very pleasant animal companion. Or maybe you would like to go to my domain to rest.... and if I can tell correctly, you have visited it before. Its strange that it is here in exact detail. Oh! Ad then there is also the ballroom where I met Lenoir and...." He stopped, thinking of Erika but then smiled at Christine again. "Any place spark your interest?"

As she felt him hugging her she sighed softly within it. Her hand went up to his chest and felt his hear beating. Then she he felt him holding onto her hand and she blinked a little. Looking up she said nothing and she didn't know what to do or say. It felt nice being with him again and she was happy he looked the same. She looked about and she felt him leading her somewhere. Away from the room they were once in. Hearing his words again she looked up at him after she looked around her surroundings.
Hearing his words she looked up at him. Not taking her hand out of his for sometime as she listened to his words. "Oh, no we can go exploring if you wish Erik" she said looking upon him for a moment. "Lenoir..." she said in a confusing voice. Who was that? She hadn't met him yet or she'd remember upon who he was. "Lets move on, I think it would be easier to continue the conversation probably elsewhere, I mean. This room is amazing. Reminds me of home in a way" she said looking around then back at him. "I'm fine with any room you lead me to Erik" she said nodding her head. Shaking her head to the request to sleep she looked at him. "Oh, no I'm perfectly fine.." she told him softly.

"Hmm... to the ballroom then, I think." He said with a smile then lead her out of the opera house, but stayed by her side and continued to speak to his Christine. "One of the reasons I really wished to help Lenoir in his project was because the Opera House reminded me so much of the one we know of. I thought that if we were to return it into the wonderful place it must have use to look, it would feel a little like being back at home." He said.
Erik lead her up a short flight of stairs, a few hallways, and through a set of gorgeous doors. He had already pretty much memorized all the routes of the manor to certain places. The ballroom was one of those places and he took Christine through the shortest route he knew from the Opera House to the ballroom. He opened the doors to reveal the large ballroom, it was still rather dusty but it looked better since more people had been through the room. The large windows had curtains pushed to the sides of them and let in the darkness and moonlight fill the room.
"This is one of my favorite spots, beside the library and the Opera House. It too needs a little work but it will look magnificent with just a little care." He said, looking happily at the room. He gently took Christine's hand once more and took her towards the piano which had been tuned beautifully. He played a few cords and then looked at Christine. "Would you sing for me?" He asked her quietly. Erik intended to do better this time with Christie... yes... his heart still wanted Erika as well... but he didn't know if anything would develop into anything more. Perhaps his Christine was truly the only one and he was not about to make the same mistake. No... he intended to give Christine all the love she deserved.

As Erik took a hold of her hand she smiled softly and followed him. "Very well then, lead the way" she said softly as she still held onto his hand. "Well, I hope to meet him someday during my time here within the manor" she told him softly. Christine walked close to him as she looked around her surroundings. "It is very cozy here I realized that when I slept in my room last night" she told him. "It feels a little bit of home doesn't it" she said grinning a little and she looked back at him.
When they were out of the Opera House, she followed him up to the flight of stairs where the ballroom seemed to be. Christine studied the places around her as she followed him into the ballroom. Entering in she smiled a little and let go of his hand and she smiled a little listening to his words again. As he spoke Christine remained silent and said nothing.
"It is really beautiful in here Erik, I can see why you enjoy this room" she said as she let her eyes roam around the room. Christine looked back at Erik as he spoke to her. Then she heard a piano cord being played and she walked over to him. "Well, now. I didn't see this here" she said giggling softly. "What a beautiful piano" she said softly as she looked over it. Then she looked over at him. When he requested her to sing she nodded lightly. "Of course Maestro" she said softly. "What would you like me to sing?" she asked as she stood by the piano like old times and she waited for him to answer her.
