England. Sure as hell not like the Midwest, though Billie as he muddle along in a truck he was by no means fully use to yet. "Darn wheel on the wrong side of the damn truck," he grumbled to himself. Glancing in the rear view mirror at the trailer behind him. There was no way he was leaving Durango behind. That horse has been through Hell and back numerous times with him that he lost count. The 17 year old bay roan gelding Quarter was just as grizzled as his rider.
Returning his sights to the narrow road. "Darn English roads. Too narrow for a damned trailer and truck," he grumbled again as he followed the signs and the lines along the road to his destination - a certain particular village.
He was here on business but took an opportunity to try and snuff out an old family mystery. When his great great aunt Emma went missing, all hell broke loose upon the family it seemed. Hopefully he can find the answers and put to rest this whatever-it-was that was plaguing them all.
Coming to a residential area, a town it appeared, he glanced about to see he was in the right area. Working with horses and as good as he was he was in fair demand. Not sure what good use he would be in England since most people here were not into wrangling or that sort of horse stuff. Their ideals of horses were fox hunts and english tack, dressage, jumping... But there were w few people getting interested in Reining. And he was pretty darn good at training and breeding reining horses. Now that he was here it was time to establish a place of residence and get to work. His associate or apprentice as he likes to call her - Ana - will be arriving in a couple of weeks. Hopefully. Depending upon when her horse, Daredevil, and Whiz Doc Dun Rockin, Doc for short, are released from Quarentine. Bringing a Stallion into a foreign country has been a hellish nightmare ever since the people contacted him wanting to do breeding and training. Figured that Artificial Insemination would be best but the people wouldn't have it. The whole time he's been grumbling about it.
Coming to what looked like the main street as he glanced about looking for a place to part and perhaps get directions. This was not an easy task. Finally finding a spot to part the truck and trailer. He got out and moved to a board to get his bearings.

((I am sorry, this seemed to good of a opportunity to miss xDD))
Roselin was just coming back from her old home to check up on her father, she couldn't resist her curiosity to see how her father was doing. And the most unimaginable thing happened... everything was packed up. There was plastic wrapping over the couch and table, most everything was in boxes, her father was no where in sight.
She dearly hoped that he was moving on... even if he did forget her entire existence... at least he would be moving on. However, the moving on that she hoped did not happen was him.. him dieing. But when she had spoken to her dad's friends, none of them knew what had happened to him. They said that a few weeks ago, about the time Roselin left, he stopped coming out of his house or go anywhere. They have no idea what happened to him. Hearing this, she felt terribly guilty about leaving her father alone.
She was walking on main street, not going in anywhere particular. She thought it would be so grand to live at the manor, and it was so far, but knowing that her father was no longer visitable, it made her depressed. What was Roselin going to do? That question seemed unanswerable in her mind until something caught her attention. There was a truck parked a little ways ahead of her with a trailer behind it. She could nearly see the muzzle of the horse inside. Roselin watched as an older man was beginning to get out of his car. Suddenly, her attitude became buzzed with happiness and she briskly started to walk on ahead towards the random man.
"Hello, my names Roselin!" She said to the man, hopefully he spotted her by now. Without able to restrain herself, Roselin continued to speak and ramble on. "Is that a horse you have in that trailer? That is so cool! I only got to ride a horse once, just recently too. But it was so much fun! What's it's name, could I pet it? I think horses are really cool! By the way, are you new around town? I don't think I've seen you around here before, not that I know everyone in town but its nice to get to know new people you know? Oh and I am Roselin Soulle, though you can just call me Roselin. By the way, whats your name?" She asked, her wide blue eyes looked at him curiously and a large smile on her face. Sometimes that girl just couldn't help herself from talking like a tornado.

Looking at the map board to get his bearings on where he was suppose to go and what was here. Only to be distracted by a young girl's voice. Diverting his eyes from the map board of the village to see a blonde teen introducing herself as Roselin and continued on and on in a usual teenage excitement. All he could do was watch her and listen. A slight smirk eventually cocked his mouth.
A little snicker as that smirk remained upon his mouth. In a deep, entrancing voice that was as smooth and hard as whiskey, "Nice to meet ya, Roselin." Glancing up for a moment at the village streets then back to her, "Yup, new in town. Was just getting my bearings." Pausing a moment as he looked at the trailer, "his name's Durango," but didn't respond to petting him or not. He wasn't sure he wanted to break the little girl's heart yet.
He turned his eyes back to the map board to grab the bearings to the reality company he'd spoke with. It was time to get established before Ana arrived. "It was nice meeting you, Roselin. Maybe when Durango's all settled in you can come by to see him." He smiled, "He likes apples." Moving to the truck but not getting in yet. Pausing a moment then looked back at Roselin, "Do you know anything 'bout a... Manor... 'round here?"

Roselin smiled innocently when he spoke back to her. It kind of made her happy that he actually responded because most strangers around town would usually just stare at her when she blabbered off into a storm and would just smile and nod and eventually inch themselves away from her. She couldn't help it, it was just in her nature. And as annoying as it could be, it sometimes got her friends, like Erik Lenoir.
Roselin didn't really recognize his accent from anywhere close, perhaps he was from America, she didn't meet to many from there. Not to say that not many came, she just didn't really talk to many.. or at least... not many talked back to her. Then Roselin got very excited, jumping up and down slightly when he told her the horse's name. "Durango! That's such an awesome name! What kind of horse is he? Sounds like such a cool horse!" She said excitedly, her smile staying wide like a curious Cheshire Cat smile.
She nodded vigorously when the man said that possibly when the horse is settles, she could see him. And of course she would bring a few apples! Maybe five or six, she didn't know how many he would like and horses are big and all so a few apples wouldn't hurt, right? Roselin then jumped up and down excitedly a bit when he asked if she knew anything about the manor. Of course she knew which manor he was talking about because there was only one that anyone ever talked about and that was of course the manor that she now resided in. "Of course! In fact, I am kind of living there now. I was heading back there just now actualy. What are you going there for anyways if you don't mind me asking, sir?" She rambled, still not knowing his name but excited to talk to a new person who wanted to go to the manor.

This Roselin girl was quite the chatterbox. Excited little girl, too. She reminded him of when Ana was her age. Always lots of energy. "He's a Quarter Horse," Billie informed the girl with that usual deep soothing gruff. "I'm sure you will see him in action someday soon." Smiling which was by no means frightening but rather nice.
Perking up as full-on faced the girl when she mentioned she was living there. He thought this Manor was abandoned and empty. "Someone lives there now?" Pausing a moment as he contemplated now how to proceed. "It's a little... personal ... interest," he simply told her. Wanting to confirm that this was in fact that Manor that his long lost great Aunt was last residing.

"Ooo, Quarter Horse." She said excitedly and in some awe. She had no idea what so ever what a Quarter Horse was but it sounded pretty. She could just Google it later as she had found out that the Manor had magically a stable internet connection. Roselin nodded vigorously when the man said that she would see his horse in action someday. Boy, wouldn't that be a sight to see!
He then asked that someone one lived there. Roselin giggled a bit, no one had any idea, even her till a few weeks ago. But his slight shock was rather amusing. She the shrugged it off completely when he said that it was a little personal interest. "Sounds cool. And yeah... you might see for yourself that there are 'someone' s living there. Don't worry, I thought the place was abandoned too but it goes to show that the people inside are just.... kind of getting use to their surroundings right now." She said smirking. "I can show you the way there if you'd like."

Tossing a glance sideways at her with slightly raised brows giving the appearance of amusement. Either she was excited about the horse or rather obviously to it. Again, either way, it was amusing. The girl was just a typical kid according to Billie.
Now that amused visage melted away into confusion. What the devil was she talking about? The current residents are just trying to get use to the place? Did someone recently purchase and move into the estate? This might hamper his private family investigation. "I see," he replied in that usual deep voice. "Perhaps after a while I'll take you up on that." Looking up and around then at the board again. "Right now, Durango and I need to get settled in. Lookin' forward to seein' you again soon, Roselin." Smiling at the girl before he turned back to his truck.
Then after a moment's thought while standing there instead of getting into the truck, he changed his mind. "On second thought, I'll take you up on that right now. How's about you show me that Manor?" Opening the door to the truck wide so that the young girl could get in if she wanted. Then he could drive up them both up there to the estate.

Roselin nodded excitedly when the man said that after a while, he would take her up on that. Though, he made it obvious that he didn't want to at the minuet and said good bye to her before turning his back on her. She waved back at him before he turned and she herself turned around to leave, a bit disappointed. She was soo looking forward to taking someone to the Manor, to show them what she knew, as much as she loved her little secret.
Roselin began to walk away, slowly and shuffling her feet slightly. She felt like this was giving up a big opportunity, but she didn't get to feel like this for to long for he hanged his mind and said that she could show her. She then spun around and nearly jumped with glee. He had the door to the truck open and she quickly jumped in. "Thank you!" She said quickly as he closed the door. This was the second time that she threw herself in a situation where she could have easily gotten into something bad, if he were a bad person - which of course he wasn't. She could have been kidnapped so easily... again!
Roselin tapped her fingers lightly on her legs a bit, excitedly, and her eyes wide with excitement with a smile a mile long. She always loved getting to do new things. Well, it wasn't exactly new, getting in a car or something of the like, but meeting the western feller and his horse. She also hadn't seen a real horse up lose before. Once he got in his truck as well, she remembered to ask him a questions that wasn't too important but she liked knowing that kind of stuff anyways. "By the way, what your name? It so exciting to see a horse so up close! Oh and the Manor is just up ahead. You will probably be going forward for quite a while before making a left turn, up, then left again, then right and then get to the Manor." She laughed a bit. "I've obviously kinda memorized where the place is."

Shaking his head with a smirk as she bounced into the truck with glee. As he walked around and got into the truck, starting it up, he glanced at the girl a moment. She was all to trusting and that could be a dangerous if not deadly mistake for her in the future. But this girl could only make him smirk because she reminded him of someone she they were that age. Sprightly and confident yet...
Billie's thoughts trailed off when Roselin spoke. "Billie," he said and drove on after she started giving directions and followed them to the Manor. "Billie Cristofersen," he added, giving the girl his last name as well. Then looked at her, "Roselin, right?" He was trying to remember the girl's name as she said it earlier. "So... " he thought a moment. "I take it you go to this Manor often, hmm? " He asked as he drove on then turned at the first left and drove on.

"Billie Cristofersen? Awesome!" Roselin said gleefully. She knew a Billie at her school, he was one of the most athletic kids in her grade. He was one of the kinder ones to her, though he still didn't like her, like the rest of the kids at her school. She then nodded her head when confirmed with her that her name was Roselin. "Sure is!" She said happily.
He then asked her if she when to the Manor often. "Ha! Often is an understatement. I mean, I use to never go there but then when I had my best friend Kimberly who moved away - which reminds me, she stopped texting me a while back - anyways we use to hang out at the garden a whole lot, though we never had the guts to go in. Then after a while- after she had moved- I finally went back where I found out the Manor had residents living there and now I practically live there! Its much better then my... original place." She said happily, though the last part a little more sadly.
