"THAT BASTARD!!!" Claude shouted, violently waving a hand and making a portrait of Charles slash into pieces. The canvas was torn to shreds, pieces hanging like torn pieces of bloodless flesh. Oh, how he wanted to kill, to really enjoy the sweet, sadistic pain of hearing someone scream again. Those beautiful screams of anguish and agony! It was music to his ears… But then he thought he heard something.
It almost sounded like singing. Where could that possibly be coming from? It began to grate at his mind; gnawing, biting, scraping, gnashing! The strange, yet surreal, music was tormenting him, setting his teeth on edge. What the hell could it be?! It seemed to come from beneath the manor, perhaps within one of the lairs. He remembered he had placed the pretty little maid in one of them but he had not heard the singing before then. The beautifully tortuous song was growing louder as he popped in and out of lairs, going deeper and deeper underground. He finally arrived in one of the lairs where the song was at it's greatest pitch. There was a lake and a dark shore just beyond the water but… There was no one there…
… What sorcery was this?? The sound was dark, seductive, and oh so alluring. It had to be here but there was no sign of anyone around. Unless… No, surely there wasn't anyone in the water. He crouched down like a predator hunting, lying in wait. He sniffed the air… He could smell something, like fish. But this had to be a freshwater lake…. He looked down at the water and saw something swim past. He gasped and quickly stood up, his eyes darting about as he scanned the surface for any sort of disturbance. What the hell could that have been? He wondered, his fingers flexing and twitching with a bit of excitement. He smirked and leaned closer to the water, licking his lips with anticipation. "Is someone there?" He whispered; the voices within the manor began to speak as well.
Something is here, master, Something strange, a monster, A creature! Listen, listen! The water, master, the ripples!
"Is someone there?" He called again, his voice a low, soothing growl as his eyes darted across the mirror=like surface of the lake.

((It still says lairs in the body of the post, but that’s okay. We can assume it’s changed lol))
It was evening and the moon’s silver beams shown through the glass roof of the pool house, reflecting upon the now murky waters of the pool and hot tub. The creature slinked from the warm waters of the hot tub, down the little fall, into the cooler waters of the adjacent swimming pool. It had been some time since an intruder had trespassed along the shored of her Master’s ‘lake’. Granted, she still had four more years before it was of any dire problem to her, but it unnerved her ever so slightly. She needed blood! She needed the soul of a new victim in order to retain her power. In order to survive…
In order to get what she needed, that would mean that she would have to lure a new victim to those shores. In an attempt to do so, she had begun to sing one of her haunting runic melodies she used to lure in prey. Perhaps there was someone nearby to hear…?
Shm’oléeruh follei menei Afuneshera mohli reet Asfoloothinei shmoni rheynu Mila folay Jesrahfeghth
She repeated the haunting refrain – a call to any lost souls who may wander near her Master’s shores. It was not long before there came a set of footsteps in the pool house, and the creature poised herself, pleasured at the thought of an unassuming victim nearby. She gave a gentle skim across the water’s surface and then dived back down and continued repeating her chant.
Shm’oléeruh follei menei Afuneshera mohli reet Asfoloothinei shmoni rheynu Mila folay Jesrahfeghth
She saw the dark figure of another presence lean closer to the water. She stared up at it from beneath the inky surface. The only things visible from above were her pale blue eyes, which cut through the blackness like two glowing orbs of light. All she need do was wait for the opportune moment..

Claude could hear the soft splashes of the water… He grinned. "What are you?" He whispered, his eyes flashing their original white with black, slitted pupils and black sclera before turning their human-like dark brown. He chuckled and stood up, shoving his hands into his pockets and strolling around the circumference of the pool. Then came the song… A siren!
A siren? In the human world?! What a quaint discovery! Claude couldn't help but burst into laughter. He straightened himself up and clapped loudly. "Your song has no effect on us, our dear," He hissed to her in her own tongue. He crouched closer to the water's edge, his body hunching and twisting like a hungry wolf stalking its prey. His fingers traced across the water's surface, sending ripples across the pool and shattering the mirror. The moonlight shining down upon the pool was refracted into a million pieces by the disturbance made by the Devil's clawed hand before reforming once more.
"Kaj ssssssi?" He hissed once more, now acting more like his serpentine self as the refrain ended for a second time. His lips drew back into a twisted grin, his canines longer now and a bit pointed as his nails scratched impatiently at the rim of the pool's edge. He crouched low and dipped two fingers into the water. Instantly, the pool began to bubble as if heated from beneath by an unseen fire in hopes to force the creature to the surface of the sea. "Imate tukaj ni mesto, sireno!"
Yes, master! Cook the f***ing fish! Fillet her and let's eat her whole, Bones and all! Bones and all!!
"Come to us, siren," He commanded, his voice echoing and distorted with a malicious tone. He was right; the song did not have any effect upon him. After all, he was the Devil. He could control anyone he wished with a mere snap of his fingers. He removed his hand from the water to allow the creature a breath; he did not wish to kill her. At least, not yet. He wanted to know what she was doing in this place and who- obviously- owned her.

The creature narrowed her pale eyes in curiosity as she watched the figure who was above the surface. He was speaking Sindarin? But that was one language that not even the Master spoke… How could he… and have no effect on him? The creature was utterly baffled.
She retreated into the deeper end of the pool in order to collect her thoughts. Something was wrong here, though she could not figure out what. No sooner had she done so than all of the sudden the water in the normally cooler of the two pools suddenly grew quite hot. Under normal circumstances, the creature rather enjoyed the hot waters – which was why she spent so much time in the smaller, warmer pool – but this time, however, it happened so suddenly, and without warning, that she could not help but to go into a brief state of shock.
She darted through the water and broke surface, leaping out for a moment. The cold air felt like stinging needles as it hit her body and she gave out a series of maddening clicks and moans. Once she hit the water again, she swiftly slinked into the smaller (oddly enough now slightly cooler) pool, swam in a little circle a few times, and coiled herself up again before raising her head and peering out of the water, turning in the direction of the strange visitor.
She heard off voices that seemed to come from the walls themselves, and sharply turned, glancing about and pulling herself fully beneath the security of the water again. Such voices were not of this world… she, of anyone, should know so much. Then another voice came – one just as unearthly, but far more controlled and calm… commanding… echoing, malicious…
Come to us, siren…
She paused beneath the surface at the sound of that voice. Who was this strange visitor. Whoever he was, he was quite powerful…Slowly, she began to move again and slithered back into the other pool, which had calmed and cooled since she’d left it. Her serpentine figure moved gracefully beneath the surface until she was below the surface of the water just in front of her strange visitor. She circled around a couple of times before slowly rising up out of the water, exposing her more human half, and stopping just after one could begin to see her greenish-blackish scales begin to flake out like a thousand tiny knives glistening in the moonlight.
She looked upon this wanderer with an intense stare. The intensity of her eyes could have burned holes through souls had there truly been one before her. Little did she know that he in front of her was none other than the devil incarnate.

The devil slowly circled around the pool with a long, slow gait. His eyes were constantly watching the siren that darted away into a deeper part of the dark waters. He grinned. She really was a lovely creature and Claude was going to take great pleasure in tormenting her.
He chortled to himself and crouched low, his back arching like a hunched, wild animal; he curled, coiled, ready to strike as he traced a finger across the water's surface. He could no longer see the siren, seeing as she had swum further into the abyss of the pool; a few air bubbles floated to the surface in the wake of the creature's tail. She was a very lovely siren; lovely enough to eat! Just the thought of a mere mouthful of the siren's scaly tail made Claude lick his lips with anticipation. His mouth began to water as he stood upright, straightening his jacket and strolling around the pool's edge again.
Suddenly, he heard a loud crash of water and looked to see the siren leap out of the water. He was transfixed! Almost hypnotized! She really was very lovely; her tail and fins flowing like a beautiful piece of fabric behind her. He could smell the salt water and feel it as the spray splashed against his cheek and upon his lips. The chattering sounds of pain she made we like music to his ears. Casually, Claude wiped away the salty water and flicked his fingers. His eyes locked upon her flitting image as she slunk away into a smaller pool just beside the bigger one.
He raised one hand and the voices silenced before turning his attention back to the siren. He watched as she darted back under the water again. The entire room fell silent and the only sound that was audible was the rippling of the water against the sides of the pool. The light refracted onto the dome above the water, making an eerie light-show above them.
Claude smiled as he watched the siren move closer to him. She really was quite a marvels creature; his eyes roamed over her and saw the beginnings of scales start to appear around her lower half to form her fish-like tail. He wanted nothing more than to touch her, to feel her skin transition into that shiny, scaly fin. He grinned and reached out to brush back a lock of her hair. "Well, 'ello there, luv," He crooned in his smooth, Scottish accent. "Now what is a beautiful creature like you doing in a place like this? We know you are not of this world… Who brought you here?"
He watched as the siren stared intensely at him. He smirked and chortled softly, closing his eyes for a moment and inhaling deeply. As he exhaled, he opened his eyes; they were pure black with white irises and slitted pupils. He stared at her intensely to watch for her reaction.

((Bleh post is bleh))
The creature did not know who this strange being was who was trespassing along her Master’s shores that she so carefully guarded. He was not one of the mortal scum polluting this place with their filth – og that much she was certain! But what it was—who it was—that he was exactly, she did not know… at least, not yet.
Her pale eyes remained fixedly on his in a sort of similar way to a cobra with its charmer. The world around may as well have fallen away, for in those moments, nothing existed but eyes and voices. It was frightening, really, the level of intensity that could be brought to a mere locking of eyes. Her extrasensory was more beast than human; even without looking, she could feel all going on around her.
In a sudden flash though, as he reached out to touch her long dark ‘hair,’ her hair swiftly reached out and tightened around his wrist, yanking back hard enough that it might have easily pulled any ordinary man’s arm right out of its socket. Her entire body tensed and her eyes narrowed as she let out a sharp hiss that was somewhere between that of a cat and a snake. She did not like to be touched, particularly not by strangers…
“I do not question where the Master may bring me,” she said in a sharp dagger of a voice that was lined with both ice and silk all at once. She arched her back slowly, as if preparing to strike, but something happened which caused her demeanor to change all at once.
When she saw the other’s true eyes, her body instantly relaxed, her tendrils of hair fleeting back to their place of retreat and releasing his wrist. She bowed her head in a sort of submission, sinking back down into the water to about chest level and taking his hand that she’d previously seized in her own webbed palms, stroking it almost apologetically with her long claw-like nailed and whispering some sort of soothing chant before looking back up at him, a sort of devious smile playing upon her lips.
She would know those eyes anywhere, for they were not particularly unheard of. They were, after all, Lucifer’s eyes…

He continued to watch her, his dark eyes transfixed upon her form as he moved around the circumference of the pool. The sight of her body made him hunger even more of her… Just a mouthful, a nibble. Gods, just one scale and he would be satisfied!
Claude grinned as the two stared into each other's eyes. His dark ones bore deeply into hers as he gave a very faint growling hiss. He bent down on one knee to be more at her level. After all, she was an otherworldly creature; that made them both equals…. Even though he still desired to taste her fishy fins and drink her blood.
When he extended his hand towards her dark hair, the siren's very locks lashed out and wrapped around his wrist to try and yank back hard. He casually- almost lazily- looked at the tentacles of hair that entangled around his arm. His fingers twitched and he was about to flick his other hand to slice through a bit of the snare that held him in place, just to cause her a little pain.
"And who is your 'Master', may we ask?" He crooned smoothly, his eyes still locked with hers. "Surely he must not be too great a master if he leaves you in this little kiddie pool, love. You need more room to swim freely without so many restrictions."
That same dark grin stretched his lips once more when he felt her release his arm. He lifted his hand and flexed his long nailed fingers, letting the knuckles crack as he stretched and curled each long digit. His focus was returned to the siren when he saw her bowing her head to him… He was beginning to like this sort of attention again; Charles had formerly been quite the submissive and often did anything that Claude commanded. But now, perhaps, he had a new plaything to command and do his bidding, even though she was confined to this small watering hole of a pool.
"Tell us, love," Claude said, gently patting her clammy hand. "What is it you desire most?"

The dark and deadly creature continued her little acts of affection, gently taking the devil’s hand and gently brushing her long webbed claws along it. He asked her who her master was, and insisted that he must not be so very great a master if he kept her locked up in a kiddy pool.
“The Master has no name… though there are some ignorant souls who dare choose to call him Erik… This place is sufficient. There is warm and cook water, and the sun, like the Caspian…” she purred. “There had been no sun since the Master had moved…”
It was quite true. The underground opera lake was… well… underground. It could not even begin to compare with the bright sun and salty air of the Caspian, back when the Master had been in Persia. Things were so very… very different…
He then asked her what it was that she wanted most. The creature merely bowed her head in a humble reverence, still purring. “It is not my place to ask you for anything, most dark one. I am contented.”

Claude looked down reverently as the siren took his hand slavishly and caressed it. He felt strength coursing through him. This was exactly what he needed; after so long, he felt powerful again!
He reached out to touch the beautiful creature's face, but then he heard something. His eyes flashed white before going back to normal as he looked for the source of the sound. He growled to himself and narrowed his eyes, his lip curled into an angry sneer. Someone was coming and he was being disturbed before he could act upon his intended victim.
He wanted to continue this lovely meeting- an almost melding of minds and souls- but he needed to move on before someone saw him speaking with the beautiful creature. "We shall return, love," He promised, kissing her webbed hand. "Please think upon our request. You may ask for anything. You will ask." He grinned at her before disappearing in a swirl of black fog.

The Siren was stroking the demon’s hand fondly when suddenly, he said that he must be off and, after pressing a kiss to her hand (a gesture which the creature what not at all used to, and which caused her to flinch a little in surprise) he disappeared in a swirling cloud of black fog. There were footsteps coming. The creature gave a rather tense and territorial hiss, then quickly sank beneath the surface of the pool water. There she stayed lurking, waiting to see who dare enter.
