Appearance
Body type:
She’s a very thin girl. Most people tell her that she’s a toothpick, or that she should really eat a sandwich. Although, don’t let that deceive you. She’s got a layer of muscle that comes in handy for her. Her muscles are most prominent in her bicep and calf areas, and there are hints of abdominal muscles. Her ribs are visible, due to conditions of anorexia nervosa that she had when she was a kid. The same conditions have caused her face to thin down, and her sockets to sink in a little. She used to be overweight, but it’s most certainly not apparent now.
Eye color:
Root beer brown, with little hints of warmer yellows and reds in certain lights.
Wardrobe:
Anna’s got a lot of hobbies, and it reflects in her clothing. She chooses a theme for the day and dresses accordingly. She’s got clothes from all sorts of eras and genres, but she adores Steampunk. She wears Steampunk attire most often. She adores corsets and bustle skirts, but she tends to favour the gentleman dandy sort of look. She has a collection of masks, ties, cravats, vests, and stylized corsets that she’ll wear to accentuate her outfits and make them seem more “her”. Her absolute favourite outfit is an eighteenth-century inspired getup: Black pants, white poet shirt with lace cuffs, black leather gloves, blue embroidered coat, and red silk sash. She wears that particular outfit to nice events.
General Appearance:
She’s got dark dirty-blonde hair that shines with different colours of highlights in certain lights. It’s cut to her shoulders, but she likes growing it out to her waist from time to time. Her hair’s always a little tousled and windblown, which adds a little bit of messiness to her usually sophisticated look. Her eyes are HUGE and brown, with a mahogany/gold shine whenever light hits her face. The eyes are framed by black eyebrows that give her eyes a LOT of range of expression, which certainly helps her whenever she auditions for theatre roles. The reason her eyebrows are black is due to a production that she was in, where her makeup artist Sharpie-d her eyebrows to get them darker, and didn’t foresee that the Sharpie would never come out. Her face is rounded, with prominent cheekbones and soft features. Her lips are bow shaped – AKA Hollywood Starlet – but the upper lip is longer than the bottom lip. She doesn’t usually wear makeup, unless she wants to make a statement, in which she usually wears smudged eyeliner. She tends to try to cover up the fact that she used to have anorexia nervosa and her ectomorphic conditions by slouching. She’s also got a horrible spine, so that doesn’t really help her posture. Fortunately, her corsets do. The only time that she sits up straight is when she wears a corset. In general, her look is a bit scowl-y. She looks a little angry all the time, which makes her a bit intimidating, as if her loud voice wasn’t enough.

Personality
Anna likes a lot of things, but the way to her heart is through chocolate, bacon, and cream soda. A nice glass of wine wouldn’t hurt either. She REALLY loves red dessert wines, but isn’t too picky with her wine. She’s not a big fan of white wines, or dry wines. She LOVES her iPod. It’s her favourite piece of technology, because she considers music to be her life.
She dislikes having to repeat herself to people who are obviously less adept at thinking than she is, because she’ll just assume that she’s wasting her time. And the last thing that you want to do is waste her time. She doesn’t take kindly to having to explain all of her ideas, as she’s a little eccentric, and therefore not a lot of people understand the way she thinks.
She’s got a few habits that have come with her various physical and mental ailments, including an insatiable need to move ALL THE TIME. She usually implements this habit by touching the tips of her fingers together when she needs to sit still for a while. She also has a habit of singing random songs when bored.
Anna is a loudmouthed person, but very sociable. She gets on well in situations with people, and loves being around others. When she’s not around others, she reverts to a state of complete calm, which suits her just fine. She’s a brilliant girl, getting along with all sorts of people. She gets along MUCH better with adults than people her own age. She’s had plenty of odd jobs; seamstress, musician, gunsmith, security officer…She’s quite adept at learning new things, and loves doing so. Physical labour isn’t too much for her, but she prefers not having to do any sort of labour. She’s lazy with the little things. It’s not really much of a flaw, as she’ll get off her butt for the important stuff.
She’s been described as eccentric for many reasons, but none so much as her strange dressing habits. She dresses in complete Steampunk attire whenever she can, but she owns some normal clothes for different occasions. She also has a multitude of costumes that she’ll wear around. There’s not one style that anyone can classify her clothing choice under.
Another good reason as to why people think that she’s eccentric is the extensive collection of weaponry that’s hidden all over her home. She has swords, guns of all sizes, knives, staffs, shields, a Taser, a machete (in case of the zombie apocalypse), a large billy club from the eighteenth century, a cricket bat, a slingshot, and a crossbow. She’s currently saving up for a bazooka.
Dreams and Goals:
Anna wants to be in show business, more than anything. It’s been her passion since she was a little girl, and she’s naturally gifted in the arts. She’s not much of a relationship person, but she thinks that having a boyfriend would be REALLY nice. Her taste in older guys hasn’t really helped her there, much. She’s got a goal, because she’s living in the village now, that she’s going to have to make friends to survive and keep her sanity while she’s living there.
Strengths:
Ever since she was eight, she’s played piano, and become rather self-sufficient with it. Music is something that comes naturally and easily to her, and she hopes to perhaps get a career in the West End in future. She’s a good singer, a lyric soprano, who really loves musical theatre. Her singing skills are pretty strong, and her sight-reading is top notch when compared to most others.
Earlier in life, she wanted to study archaeology, so she studied a lot of World History, particularly in Egyptology. Her historical knowledge is vast, and she uses it to her advantage, but she prefers certain periods to others. Her favourite studies were on WWII, Jack the Ripper, the Victorian Era, and Ancient Civilizations.
She’s got a lot of physical strength, and works out whenever she can find time to do so. Her co-workers don’t enjoy challenging her to arm wrestling competitions, because she’s been known to squeeze fingers until they turn unnatural colours. Her dancing’s not half bad, but she prefers not to dance unless she’s completely comfortable around the people she’s with. She’s best at dances that involve a lot of modern moves, but she can ballroom dance and has done jazz and ballet.
Weaknesses:
Even though she has a lot of physical strength, she feels extraneous amounts of pain, regardless of what she’s doing. Her muscles and bones hurt, constantly, because she’s screwed up her back and muscles via strain and hurting herself. She’s far-sighted, so she can’t see anything that’s close to her face, and her peripheral vision screws up at certain angles.
She’s not very good at expressing herself in a nice manner, sometimes, as she can be very blunt with her words. She curses like a sailor when she gets startled or scared, to the point where her friends in the Navy cringe a little.
She doesn’t enjoy change, and when she has to change something about her life, she gets prissy with others. She gets particularly mad when she’s forced to do things she doesn’t want to do, and becomes frustrating to those around her.
Fears:
She has an irrational fear of the dark, mostly because she’s got a strange obsession with the Slenderman legend and can’t stop herself from watching the video updates, even if they scare the crap out of her. Because of her guilty pleasure with that legend, she sleeps with a bat under her mattress and a gun under her pillow in case of break-ins or possible paranormal emergency.
She also has a fear of stairs and falling, sprouting from an unfortunate accident from her youth where she was pushed down a flight of stairs by bullies at her boarding school. She doesn’t like climbing stairs, opting to take the lift whenever possible.

History:
Yvaine Antoinette Chauncey was born on March 18th, 1991. She lived a pretty happy childhood with her parents, both of whom were greatly enveloped in the arts. She was taught to play piano at the age of four, as her mother insisted that all of the Chauncey children were to play an instrument and have roots in the artistic community.
Anna grew up in London, in the city. Her parents had a nice flat and plenty of room for all the kids. She went to schools all over Europe, from Spain to Germany to Austria and France. She was first introduced to the Phantom of the Opera story when she was twelve. It was her mother’s favourite book and she had several translations of the book. She found the musical shortly after and fell in love with the whole thing. She found several friends in school through her love of the story, but she found other loves and hobbies that soon took up a lot of her time. After her final year in high school, she returned back to England for college. She attended the University of Central London for Musical Performance in both piano and vocal.
Anna’s older brother plays the violin, and practices regularly. Anna’s younger brother plays the guitar now, but started out on the cello. Anna loves her brothers, but she’s annoyed at their constant bickering. Erik reckons himself a genius, and figures that he has hardly any time to give to other people. He’s not a very social guy, but he’s QUITE the looker. Peter, on the other hand, loves going out and gaining connections. It’s his goal to go to medical school after he gets out of high school. Anna, being the middle child, wasn’t quite as spoiled as her younger brother. But seeing as she was the only girl, her mother gave her plenty of things to keep her busy. Anna had plenty of computer games when she was young, as well as plenty of CDs, and now she’s a huge gamer. She enjoys playing third-person games like Assassin’s Creed and Arkham Asylum, as well as first person games like Skyrim, Bioshock, and Dishonored. She’s got a huge library of video games in her arsenal.
Anna is a devout watcher of the Doctor Who and Sherlock series, and loves musicals. She recently moved into the village, looking for a nice quiet flat to live in while she works on auditioning for musicals in London. While she’s in the village, she’s hoping to establish a job in anything she can. All she needs is some money, and then she can try to make it big.

Anna set the last box down and sighed, collapsing onto the couch. She looked at the work cut out for her. There were mountains of boxes waiting to be unpacked, but she didn’t really want to do any of that right now. Perhaps now would be a good time to go for a walk, and see what was in the village? Yes…that’s exactly what she would do! She picked herself up from the couch, resetting her goggles squarely around her neck. Before she walked out the door, she checked her pocket for the house key. Yup, it was there. She walked out, turning to lock the door before going down the stairs.
She went down into the main street of the village, taking a look around at all of the shops. There was a Starbucks down the road…that would come in handy. Hopefully she’d find a nice-sized library with music and books. As she continued on down the road, she came to a pub. Peeking in through the window, she saw the bar, filled with men watching rugby. She smirked. Maybe a glass of port was in order when she was on her way home. She soon came to the end of the road, and a large stretch of woods lay in front of her. There was a little path, leading into the dark woods…What was at the end of the trail…? The sun was setting; it might be a little dangerous to venture out into the woods alone…? Eh, who cares? Her cell phone was in her pocket. She’d be fine, it was just a trail.
And with that, Anna took off into the woods, thinking that this would be quite the little adventure.
