Evelyn sat on the railing of the music room balcony , the full moon shined down on her translucent form. The beams of light radiating from the glowing disk in the midnight sky flowed through her body. It made her look almost like an angel that had flown down from up above to visit the world. Of course she was nothing like an angel, but she was the closest thing to one on Earth. She was a ghost, and that was as close as you could get with out actually leaving the world.
Her blue eyes shined brightly in the darkness of the night, like to beaming crystals ready for someone to harvest. Her soft pale face was smooth and perfect in every where. No mark or blemish could be seen on her skin. The red strapless dress hugged her torso perfectly before swirling in soft waves around her thighs and knees. A black belt belt tied off her slim waist, and was the only contrast to the red on her body. She wore no shoes, when it was night, she felt like it wasn't as formal a need to wear them. Though she was a ghost so there really was no formal thing to her. But she had been raised as a princess, and formality whether dead or alive was important.
Her gaze rested on the garden below the balcony. She let out a soft sigh as she remembered how perfect it once was when she was alive. Her mother and father had kept it perfect, and now without anyone to care for it, it had wilted and the once vibrant flowers that could describe a Wonderland, were dead.
Evelyn had been dead sixty-nine years, not as long as other ghosts, but it was still a long time. It was also hard for her, because unlike others she could so perfectly see her life before she died.
A life that she no longer was proud of.
Before her death, she had been a terrible person. A witch in disguise, taking from everyone and giving nothing. Now only after death came for her, did she see the errors of her ways. She once wished that she could go back and fix everything she had ever done wrong.
But that wish was out grown the first decade, when she learned that no matter how hard you wished upon a star , wishes just never came true.
Evelyn pulled her legs up to her chest as she leaned back against the balcony columns. She was so lonely. She had been since she died. All she wanted now was someone to speak to her without fear or hatred. She wanted....she wanted a friend. But that was another wish that she feared would never come true. So there she would sit on that railing until she found something else to do, or until someone found her.

Erik screwed up his eyes and rubbed at them with the heel of his hand. He was so very tired but he couldn’t rest in this state. He hadn’t the faintest idea where he was or why he was here, all he knew was that he would rather be back home. This place was strange and eerie; he hated it. It was so dusty and drab not like the modern, well-cared for and clean house he’d been living in for the past few months. Alright, clean probably wasn’t the best word to describe it. Most of the time it was anything but as he could never see the point in cleaning up after himself.
He climbed another flight of stairs, wiping the dust off on his dark blue dress shirt as he reached the top. As much as he hated the place he figured he had better start exploring. Once he’d gotten to know every nook and cranny of his own home he had adjusted and become very comfortable. Perhaps once he’d learned his way around this place he would feel less like running and screaming. That was the last thing he wanted to do, it would be so undignified and...feminine. He fake wretched a little at the thought and stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans.
He wandered along what seemed like the four trillionth corridor and curiously glanced into each room as he passed. He stopped himself suddenly as he walked past a music room. He grinned to himself; this was much more like it! Forgetting himself for a moment he excitably dashed into the room to admire each of the instruments, heading to the piano near the centre of the room first. As he neared it he spotted a small glimmer on the balcony outside. He calmed himself and walked slowly to the doors leading out onto it, resting a hand on the doorframe as he peered out.
There was a slightly translucent young woman sat on the railing. Erik looked her over from his spot just inside the music room, noticing every little detail. A slight smirk spread across his lips...what a good-looking girl. Summoning his bravery he stepped out onto the balcony and cleared his throat to get her attention. “Evening...” He said a lot quieter than he had expected to. “C-Could you please tell me where I am?”

Evelyn turned her head to look at the man who stood before her, her glowing gaze looking up and down his body before landing on his face. She gave him a soft gentle smile, the smile she gave everyone. It was a look that only started to grace her face after her death, before it had always been a scowl or grimace. But now that she was dead she found that it was easier to be kind then to be cruel. And from the soft tone of his voice and the mask that rested upon his face, she knew that he needed kindness.
Evelyn moved and rested her cheek a top her knees to look at the man with her Crystal blue eyes. She studied him with a soft warmth in her eyes, once upon a time she would of found his man disgusting and beneath her. His greasy ,dirty hair would of made her cringe and turn away. The ugly mask marred with imperfections would of caused her to scream and run to her father, begging him to get rid of the man. She no longer felt these urges, in fact she felt a strange urge to give him a hug and smile at him. She knew the reason of it, her heart that once was black as coal now wanted so much to help others. She had become like her saint of a Mother through death, something she was grateful for. Thanks to that small gift, she had been able to become sympathetic to others.
And now she felt that sympathy for this man, who looked quite out of place in her castle. Well she shouldn't say just her's, it belonged to many of them, it just held most of her old furniture and things in it, since she was one of the youngest. It was hard to imagine a time when the castle was never, not her home. It was why so many pianos were throughout the castle, because she wanted them as a child there. Or why her throne was still in the throne room of the castle. Or why her room, which she was no glad was locked from the inside, had everything she owned before she died in it.
"Hello, well the simple answer to your question is that your in my music room, in what once used to be my home." She gave him a warm smile before turning and releasing her legs so her feet touched the ground.
"But I think you should ask really, why your here. And I have a question for you. Who are you?"

Erik noticed her looking him over and put on a slight smirk. He broadened his shoulders and stood up straight in an attempt to impress her though this act had never really worked on anyone else to date. His expression changed to that of disappointment when he realized she was looking at him quite pityingly. He sighed ever so slightly and relaxed himself, deciding to give up any pretence of being attractive and masculine.
He grunted a little in response to her answer. It was straight forward he supposed but he had hoped for a little more detail. Obviously he was in a music room and in a house but he was looking for a much broader answer. Something along the lines of a town or a country; maybe even a planet for all he knew, but perhaps that was a bit farfetched. It would explain this woman’s transparency. He decided not to ask anymore though as he would no doubt find out if he continued talking to the girl.
“I’m Erik Leverne,” He replied. He saw no reason not to trust the woman and approached her, leaning over the balcony railings and resting his elbows on it. “And go on; why am I here?” He added, clasping his hands together.

((sorry this took so long, I feel really bad about it))
Evelyn turned so she sat like she did before, and studied the man more closely. She didn't know who called him here, but it sure wasn't her. Though she had wanted someone to speak with and talk to, someone to just be friends with, she did not believe and pulling people out of their worlds to entertain her.
But because someone had called him here, and because she was bored and wanted someone to talk to, she might as well speak with him. It was after all common curtsy after all to entertain guests.
"Well Mr. Leverne It wasn't my fault for sure, but your here because someone, somewhere in this castle wanted you to be here."
Evelyn gave him a smile and turned to stare out at the garden that laid below the balcony. It was a beautiful site at night, but was even more beautiful when she was alive. She missed that time and age, it was so much simpler. People were much simpler, of course her being dead didn't make things less complicated. but at least back then people actually spoke to her , even if it was just because she was a princess.

// Don’t worry about it. \\
Erik looked back up at her from his hands when she spoke and furrowed his brow at her words. It felt a little like she wasn’t giving away all of the details, which upset him somewhat. Since he was the one stuck in a building with a bunch of strangers, at least one of which was eerily transparent, he felt like he should know everything.
“...Why and how would they do that?” He asked to voice his thoughts, tilting his head to one side. “With emphasis on the why... I mean, isn’t it rather cruel to snatch someone in their sleep and drag them off? And a little creepy, for that matter.”
He was sure whoever brought him here had their reasons, whoever they were and he would just prefer to know them rather than being left in the dark. Knowing who brought him here would be nice as well, but maybe this girl didn’t know them.
