Blondie was sitting in the middle of a bright flower patch full of vibrant pink and yellow and white petaled blossoms one sunny day in the middle of Spring. She was licking a giant yellow and white striped lollipop that was as big as her face. In fact, the candy was so big that it counts have served a a fan, or a sticky yellow mask for a ball.
It was a very good lollipop. It tasted like pineapples and mangoes, and a slight hint of passion fruit..... And rainbows and unicorns, and butterflies, and clouds, and sunshine and flowers and... and.... BUBBLES! That's right. It tasted like bubbles. And not the icky soapy bubble mix type bubbles either, but rather the light and fluffy airy type... like bubbles of sweet meringue.

Claude came out to where the flowers bloomed taller even himself as he wore a top hat with rabbit ears attached to the sides. He looked over and saw Blondie before skipping over to her.
"Pardon me, did you drop this?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small white rabbit with n embroidered heart around it's neck. The heart opened up and a cuckoo bird came out and blew Blondie a kiss.

((Funny you should bring in a bunny. XD Crack Blondie actually loves bunnies and they frequently come up in her crack threads. I' fairly certain she's currently stoking a bunny in CHATTERBOX! )) Blondie gasped, her eyes all aglow when she saw the little bunny that the man was holding. “ Oh! Oh! He's so precious!” She reached out and petted the fuzzy little creature. “ Wherever did you find him?” Blondie held her lolli out to the bunny. “ Would you like a taste, little one?” She watched, hoping the bunny would take a few licks. She really did very much love bunny rabbits. She pulled out a giant pink lollipop much like her yellow one, and looked up at Claude, holding it out to him in offering. “ Do you like bunnies too?”

"It was sitting in a tree, eating a marzipan carrot." The rabbit twitched its nose and jumped out of Claude's arms. It began to do cartwheels and started to sing:
I'm from a land called 'Secret Estonia'! Nobody knows where it's at (no!) Nobody knows where it's at (oh!) Nobody knows where it's at (no!) Ice cream mountains and chocolate skies!
The rabbit ran off and left a trail of chocolate Easter eggs behind him. When the priest (now wearing powder blue robes!) took the lollipop, it suddenly burst into a giant flower and started to shoot pink sparkles everywhere. He smiled at Blondie and nodded. "Yes... I like to eat them."

Blondie watched in delight as the fluffy bunny hopped off, leaving behind a trail of little chocolate foil-wrapped eggs as he went. “Goodbye, Monsieur Lapin!”
She hardly noticed the change in the lollipop, for she was too busy watching the fluffy bunny leave, but then one thing made her turn, and that was his response too her question of whether or not he likes rabbits.
Yes... I like to eat them.
The girl's jaw dropped. “Eat them!? But why o earth would you want to eat something so fluffy and cuddly and warm? Bunnies are too cute to eat!”

Well, not these kinds of bunnies…" He spotted a rabbit hopping about and grabbed it up. The rabbit screamed and kicked but Claude reached into its mouth and pulled out…
A gummy bunny made of pineapple, cherry, and lime flavored gelatin! He dropped the rabbit and it staggered away before regaining sobriety and scurrying off. "In each bunny is a delicious treat. AND best of all?…. Sugar-free!"

Blondie watched in terror as the powder blue priest plucked up a rabbit as it hopped on by he and reached into the thing's mouth. “NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!” she shrieked, but it was too late! He reached into the thing's mouth and pulled out some sort of a bunny-shaped dessert made of gelatin.
“That poor, poor bunny....” she said, as she watched the thing scurry off into the thicket. “Why would you steal candy from a poor, defenseless little bunny? And sugar-free candy at that!” Blondie gave a wince. Just the thought of candy without sugar made her stomach churn.

Claude gently shushed Christine. "We don't like sugar… Besides, it will be fine. And look, we have more friends!" Suddenly, more bunnies came around and smiled at them both. One hopped up and held out a basket of carrots to Christine. "Seems they brought you a gift." Claude smiled as the rabbits picked up Christine and carried her deep within the forest.
And what a beautiful forest! Filled with singing birds, chipmunks, and squirrels; some even wearing little hats! There was a table set up with teacakes, fruits, and other sweet things. Claude gagged and tried to keep from vomiting up rainbows at the sight.

((LOL I have no idea what I even just wrote...))
Blondie let out a loud gasp! How could anyone not like sugar!? Sugar was, is, and will always be the most fantastical, delicious, wonderful, magical, scrumptious, lovable, scrumdiddlyuptious, amazing, sweetest, astounding, phenomenal, Christmahanukwanacle thing in the entire planet universe! To not like sugar, it was... it was... BLASPHEMY! It was blasphemy....
The blonde squealed and made a duck-face then the bunnies picked her up, but then looked around at all of the fluffy cuteness and grinned in sheer delight. “Bunnies!” she squealed, giddy, but then she remembered what she had seen. OH NOES!
“OH NOES! BUNNIES GET AWAY! GET AWAY! HE'S GOING TO EAT YOUUUUUUUUUU!”

The rabbits all looked up at Blondie and shrieked like little girls. They turned and looked at Claude who had slowly been approaching them… They glared.
"Get him!" Came the small, squeaky voice of one of the rabbits as they all put on little army hats and jumped on the demon. He yelled in shock and tried to get them off of him. But it was no use. The bunnies tied him up and carried him to the table and dropped him, face first, onto a large silver tray. "Let the feast of a thousand bunnies begin!"
All the rabbits beat the table with their little fists and howled loudly, some dancing around the table and throwing sugar all over Claude!

Blondie watched in fascination as the army of little fluffy bunnies attacked Claude and tied him up, then began throwing sugar on him. It was all rather amusing... until she heard what they said next.
Let the feast of a thousand bunnies begin!
Feast? Did they mean to eat him? Surely that couldn't be the case, after all, rabbits were vegetarians.... right?
“Ummm.... excuse me, Mister rabbit,” she said, “ But you're not really going to eat him.... are you?”

The rabbits stopped throwing sugar on Claude and looked up at Christine. They closed their eyes then opened them wide… VERY wide. And big. And sparkly. And filled with tears!…. The rabbits began to cry.
"WAAAAAHHHH!!!! We're all just so hungry!" They cried, wiping their eyes with their furry little paws. Claude looked at the rabbits and groaned, still spitting out some sugar. To him, it really tasted like a very sour lime or lemon. One of the bunnies hopped over and untied Claude, still crying into one little, adorable paw.
"W-W-We haven't had fresh carrots in so long. We just want some carrots… Maybe some pan roasted with rosemary and a little lemon juice and sugar." It seemed these rabbits weren't just hungry rabbits, but they were gourmet!

Blondie flinched a little. She certainly hadn't been expecting such a strong reaction from a bunch of fluffy bunnies. She looked around, not knowing quite what to do. One of the bunnies untied Claude – which she was quite relieved at – but they were all... crying?
“Ummmm.... Oh no... umm..... don't cry, fluffy bunnies. Why haven't you had any carrots? Did somebody take them from you? Is there a carrot shortage?....” And then she gasped at yet another thought. “DO NONE OF YOU KNOW HOW TO COOK!?”
To think of it! Rabbits that didn't know how to cook? Why, the whole idea was simply preposterous! No, no, Christine... you mustn't jump to conclusions like that... After all, they haven't said that they can't cook...
She glanced over to see Claude spitting out sugar. He looked almost if he had been sucking on a lemon, with how much it seemed he detested the stuff, though she couldn't for the life of her fathom why... she quirked her brow a little. What a funny person he was, not liking sugar. It was quite curious...
After the little rabbit untied him, she cautiously walked over to Claude and knelt down near him. “There? Now aren't you glad the bunnies didn't eat you?”

The rabbits put their little furry paws to their faces and cried. Their ears went down and the tears flooded the ground around their feet. In unison, they all blew their noses VERY loudly! They shook the tears- and snot- from their paws all over Claude just after he had been untied. Claude grimaced and spat out a mouthful of rabbit boogers.
The bunnies looked at one another then at Blondie, hopping closer to her. "We have a carrot shortage. The great Carrot Drought of 2012 destroyed our crops. Now we have no more carrots!"
The rabbits all looked down at the ground and flattened their ears against their heads. The leader rabbit- who wore a large feathered headdress- moved to the front of the group and looked up at the nice lady. He thumped his chest and turned to the other rabbits who all nodded to him.
Claude looked up at Christine and frowned, still spitting out some rabbit boogies. He then looked at the rabbits and felt a tinge of pity for them… He exhaled deeply and snapped his fingers. Suddenly, there appeared a large pile of carrots- a near mountain!!!- behind the rabbits. One rabbit popped out of the pile with a carrot sticking out of his mouth.
"We suppose so," Claude mumbled, looking at Blondie. "Thank-you." He watched as the rabbits screamed with joy and began to eat the carrots ravenously.

“Those poor bunnies!” Blondie exclaimed in utter dismay. How terrible it must before such helpless little creatures to be so very deprived of carrots in this cold, cruel world! Whatever could have caused the great carrot drought of 2012 was surely something nasty and evil! Nothing good would ever consider depriving poor bunnies of their carrots… Then again, nothing intelligent would either, as everybody knew that rabbits could get quite vicious when they were hungry and were known to resort to eating people like… Oh wait… that already happened.
Blondie had bent down to pet the little rabbit chief with his feathery headdress. “There, their, they’re…. it will be all right. Sometimes good grammar can make everything all better… say it with me: there, their, they’re… to, two, too… tutu”
She did not notice until a bit later, after all of the rabbits began screaming and rushed off to eat their carrots, that the now snot-covered Claude had somewhat recovered and had created a vast multitude of carroty goodness that the bunnies now feasted upon. She looked at the pile in shock and then slowly rose to her feet. “What did you do…?” she murmured in awe of the site, turning for a moment to look at Claude before returning to face the carrot mountain.
