Who doesn't love Mad Libs? If you answered "I don't" then you suck and should just turn around because you'll hate this game.
Anyway, Alice and I came up with this crazy idea while discussing the games a couple weeks ago that we should have POTO mad libs here. XD
For anyone who doesn't know how to play mad libs, it's really simple. There is one person (in this case, me) who has a short story with some of the words as blanks. They then ask everyone for a word that follows the category of that blank and fill it in. At the end, they read back the story with the words that everybody filled in and the results are silly randomness!
For POTO Mad Libs, I will take an excerpt from some form of POTO (whether it be lyrics, a paragraph from a book or fanfiction, a summery of a movie, a bio of an actor, etc) and create blanks and list the blanks. each person participating is to give a word for one blank (in order please) and at the end, i will post the entire thing with the filled in blanks and we can all laugh at its randomness.
There are no winners or losers in mad libs, but I will try to give one euro to each person for each time they participate
RULES
1.) You cannot fill in two blanks in the same story in a row.
2.) Nothing obscenely vulgar, please
3.) I will cross blanks off as they are filled in (since going in order failed)
4.) Either Alice or I will post the stories and blanks
All of that being said, here is the first set of blanks:
1) Place Canada
2) Person Ciera
3) abstract noun deceit
4) noun broccoli
5) adverb awkwardly
6) adjective hilarious
COMPLETED:
The Latest news in [1.Canada] is that there is to be a promise of marriage between Mlle Christine Daaé, the opera-singer, and M. le Vicomte Raoul de Chagny. If the gossips are believed [2. Ciera] has sworn that, for the first time on record, the Chagnys shall not keep their promise. But, as [3. deceit] is all-powerful, at the Opera as – and even more than – elsewhere, we wonder how Count Philippe intends to prevent the viscount, his brother, from leading the new Margarita to the [4. broccoli]. The two brothers are said to adore each other; but the count is [5. awkwardly] mistaken if he imagines that [6.hilarious] love will triumph over love pure and simple.
