Hang Man
Okay, this place is seriously lacking in games. I made a Little Lotte thread earlier, but it seems to be confusing to a lot of people, so.... Second game! Good old HANG MAN!
For those of you who aren't familiar with the game (because you've been extremely deprived your entire life) Basically you guess a letter to try to solve the puzzle. If you get the letter wrong or guess a letter that has already been guessed, you get one piece of the man on the little hang man gallows thingy. When the man is complete, the game is over. Hang man is a group game, so be sure to be careful what you guess because it effects everyone playing.
Now, because this is a Phantom of the Opera forum, I feel it is only natural that we have a few Phantom of the Opera related restrictions as to what the hang man games can be:
1.) The answer to your puzzle must be somehow related to the Phantom of the Opera (any version). If there is any question as to how it relates once the puzzle has been completed, the last person to have guessed may challenge you to explain the relation and if you cannot do so in a logical and concise, you will have one point subtracted one point from your score (in this way, it is possible to have negative points).
2.) Your puzzle must fit under one of the following categories
3.) After a letter has been guessed, the person who created the puzzle is responsible for crossing out the letter on the list, and either filling in the blank in the puzzle or adding the piece of the man to the gallows.
4.) No one is allowed to guess twice in a row so that as many people as possible may be able to participate.
5.) The person who guesses the final letter or who is able to guess the entire puzzle will be awarded a point (points will be kept track of by myself in this first post of the thread) and will be allowed to create the next hangman puzzle unless they choose to give up the responsibility of creating the puzzle to another player. I will give each person 1 euro for 1 point (though I'm limited to 3 per hour right now, though I don't think that will be an issue XD ).
6.) Please edit your puzzle post to cross out the letters, add letters guessed to the puzzle, and/or add the piece of the man to the gallows.
7.) Be sure to include all proper punctuation within your puzzle
8.) This is what the hang man shall look like when complete:
__________
| |
| O
| /|\
| / \
|
|_
9.) Here is the blank hangman template for whoever is to make the puzzle:
10.) The pieces of the man for hangman are as follows (in order of which piece comes first):
O / | \ / \
There are 6 pieces of the hang man, which means that there are 5 wrong guesses allowed per puzzle. At the 6th wrong guess, the puzzle is lost and the person who created the puzzle must reveal what the answer was and create a new puzzle.
Okay, now that all of the game have been explained, I will create a score chart and the first puzzle. If I do not have your name on the point chart and you wish to play, please tell me along with your first guess so that I may add you to the point list.
