If you haven't noticed, we have a site music player, so if you'd like to add songs to it, feel free to ask! We have a few basic phantomy songs right now, and we'll be adding more eventually.
Use this code to request your songs. There are limits to TWO songs per character and TWO songs per pairing. There are no limits to how many overall site songs you can suggest. Use the code twice if you're using two different songs.
[Name of Song]-Name of Artist
[Song Link to Youtube]
For: [Character/Pairing Name(or the site)]-Why you're picking this song, how it relates to your character, etc.
Keep in mind that the song has to be on youtube for it to work, and if the song has heavy copyrights on it, it might not work. If so, we'll let you know and we'll find you another song to put on the player.

I Was Here- Beyoncé[ www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL8I-CJPDEI] For: Christine Emilie de Chagny-Reflects so perfectly her struggles and her life how she continues to try and make the lives of those in the Manor better with just a touch of kindness through either baking madelines, or slow restoration of the garden, talking to and getting to know everyone there, and other extra things - big or small - to show her life is not in vain. Listen To Your Heart- Roxette[ www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tgmXgTp6f8] ((Gee, If this doesn't show my age! )) For: Christine Emilie (Daae), the Vicomtess de Chagny- It's a moving song and definitely reflects her, her struggles, and how she listens with her heart to learn that she feels most 'whole' and 'in tune' with the Phantom. Memories-Within Temptation [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhzJO34SCoc&feature=BFa&list=PL57D78F64C55B2CEC] For: Christine Emilie de Chagny to Mister Y- Her torment over him. [Before The Dawn]-Evanescence [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR2ADFKkO-I] For: Christine Emilie de Chagny & Mister Y (whenever he shows up)-A song that reflects rather perfectly that "Moonless Sky" moment and those desires they may still continue to have. More to come! ~Lady B

[Der Tod und das Mädchen]- Franz Schubert [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=qw1g6TLJ96w&feature=related] For: [Érik and Christine]-The translation of the libretto: Fair youth, with the rose at your lips, A riddle is his in your eyes; Discard Conversational quips, Give over elaborate disguise. The rose's funeral breath Confirms by intuitive fears; To prove your devotion, Sir Death, Avaunt for a dozen years. But do not forget to array Your terror in juvenile charms; I shall deeply regret my delay If I sleep in a skeleton's arms. In this lied, the maiden, when confronted by death, is frightened and death tries to get her to let him soothe her to sleep. This lied reminds me of the part of the book where Érik takes Christine underground with him and then sets her down in the drawing room and eventually sings her to sleep. the "His hands smelt of death" that she recalls, combined with his intentions and lulling her into sleep fits this song perfectly. Érik and Christine are death and the maiden personified and I would not be surprised if Leroux had this Schubert lied in mind when writing.

[Red Sector A]-Rush www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzXDi_f9PUYFor: [Erika Urban]-Not only is it a badass song, but it reminds me of her mindset before and after the war. "All that we can do is just survive; all that we can do to help ourselves is stay alive." [Phantom of the Opera Remix]-Vanessa Mae www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdRlJANexGgFor: [the site]-Okay, let's list; the video is bangin, her voice is lovely, the song is damn catchy... and it reminds me of all the tumultuous events here at the manor! Especially the evil side of things. [Nightmare]-Avenged Sevenfold www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3f5DxfrFhsFor: [Charles Dalimar]-The song is about a man suffering for all of the wrongs and evils he's committed--how he thought he'd have nothing to pay for and how now he's tortured beyond belief and stuck in his own personal little hell. So Charles! [Running Up That Hill]-Kate Bush www.youtube.com/watch?v=snb5729vZe0For: [Charles Dalimar/Emma Ravenhearst]-It's a song about men and women trying to understand each other. And the deal with god part is a bit ironic. Charles and Emma are a doomed pair, and this is a song about trying to put pieces back together. [Snow White Queen]-Evanescence www.youtube.com/watch?v=-07E8_0_6PsFor: [Charles Dalimar/Emma Ravenhearst]-Just wow. I love this. It has both of their perspectives, and they're so similar to how the real characters actually feel--Charles has always just wanted her, Emma has always just wanted to be be afraid. He tries to justify himself. The lyrics are so intimate that they make you shudder. [Diary of Jane]-Breaking Benjamin www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoXo36YNQ2UFor: [Charles Dalimar]-How can it not? The diary, the desperate longing that goes into the song just to be a part of her life, to be important to her... [My Heart is Broken]-Evanescence www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAf1_6KglIMFor: [Emma Ravenhearst]-The song is so tumultuous. It's lovely. It shows how badly Emma wants to be right again... it's a really terribly sad song. [Bring Me To Life (acapella)]-Evanescence www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_JB7RdiJLIFor: [Emma Ravenhearst]-It's a capella, so it's especially haunting, and the lyrics are just perfect for Emma and her plight. [Our Bride]-don't even know xD www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZAkMvFGO0wFor: [site]-Do I even have to say it? HAUNTING.

[Far Longer Than Forever]-Howard McGillin and Liz Calloway www.youtube.com/watch?v=GABQU6gK03g&feature=relatedFor: [Raoul/Christine]-This song is like the Disneyfied version of AIAOY ( and yes, I know Swan Princess isn't technically Disney but it's close enough XD ). It's just such a pretty song and both songs are communicating the same thing--two people vowing to love each other for a lifetime--though in this case apparently 'far longer'. Plus Derek and Odette knew each other when they were kids and the movie has these weird parallels to Phantom in a way... I would like to request it for Raoul de Chagny and Christine Daae as well as Raoul Christophe and Christine Svenna. [I'll Make a Man Out of You]-Donny Osmond, Lea Salonga, some other peeps ( Mulan ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK7XwLbd-oI&feature=relatedFor: [Raoul Christophe]- Like Kristine pointed out in the cbox, this is a Hadders song XD. He definitely trained his men like this when he was in the Navy and he just has the military discipline and approach toward things that he can't shake, even after retiring from the Navy. Plus Shang's a Captain, he's a Captain--it fits!

Though it's not a song technically, the songplayer does run based on yotube, soooooo.....
[Carl and Ellie's Love Story]-from Disney's UP
[http://youtu.be/UTBQYAE-pMk]
For: [Raoul Christophe de Chagny and Christine Svenna Daaé]-It's technichally not a song, but Hadders and Misty are so Carl and Ellie! The scarf if like their adventure book that they share, and Hadders is so quiet and serious as a child until he meets Misty, who is the wild one who teaches him how to have fun and start an adventure. It carries on through their cannon too, all the way to old Raoul who appears in the prologue, a slightly bitter, very sad man, after the death of the woman he loves T.T There's the tackle kiss from the roof, Hadders' hipster glasses, the tie straightening that always happens in the AU.... Hadders and Misty are Carl and Ellie!

Here's a few more for a couple of characters. Plus above, I changed the URL for the song "I Was Here" by Beyoncé. [Would You Love A Monsterman]-Lordi www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRhbOFlTA5gFor: [Erik Destler]- Simply put, it perfectly befits him. [Beautiful]-Sarah Brightman www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ts2WmRlqtUFor: [Christine Emilie & Erik Lenoir]- LOVED the editing of it and the use of both the old ALW musical with Crawford, plus some of Brightman's music vid, the song very well befits how Christine Emilie feels about Lenoir.

[Why is the Rum Gone!?]-DaJugglingFool
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JImcvtJzIK8]
For: [Nathanael Paul Javert]-*totally hasn't been wanting to do this since she started Nate's app* Why is the rum gone!? NATE LOVES HIS RUM! DDD: This song is like his worst nightmare come true.... That and it's kind of ironic because he was killed by pirates .-.

[Wreak Havoc]-Angelspit <3
[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9wjn8_tb9k]
For: [Claude]-What more can I say that the lyrics can't? Plus warning for the language, the 'f' word in thrown in a couple times at the end. --
[The House Upon The Hill]-Secret Garden Broadway Cast [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtW4nffayTE]
For: [Charles Dalimar] (Please skip the first :30 seconds) I fell in love with this years ago and still love it! Asfasdfasfsf--!! This is just TOO perfect to describe Charles and Emma and their "bedeviled manor". I'm not even kidding! -- [306]-Emilie Autumn (She. Is. A. GODDESS! 'Nuff said.) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-WmsMKWBYw]
For: [Adina Gillespie] This almost describes Adina's feelings after her death to a 't'! Especially the past where she sings about a girl's drowning/suicide. (I swear, Emilie was in my head when I wrote Adi's bio)

[Sound of Silence]-Simon and Garfunkel
[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zLfCnGVeL4]
For: [William Leverich]-…um. I'm really bad at explaining anything. Sorry. Let me just say, I tend to interpret songs completely differently than most people. Anyway… if relating to Will, I tend to associate silence with invisibleness/transparency. In other words, his ghost. He has a lot of things to say, but doesn't know how to say them. Basically like how I fail at explaining this.
[Asleep]-The Smiths
[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CGIii_eTOk]
For: [William Leverich]-Well. Sleep is like… temporary death. And Will really wants to die for real. "
Don’t feel bad for me I want you to know Deep in the cell of my heart I will feel so glad to go
He also feels very isolated in his life (I don't want to be own anymore) and he stays positive by telling himself some day their will be an end, even if he really doesn't believe in anything anymore. He won't face that reality or option, or he'd go completely mad.
There is a better world Well, there must be

Love Never Dies - Anna O'Byrne (LND Soundtrack) www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwRwpO8mHIcFor:the Vicomtess and Vicomte de Chagny (Emilie and Edouard) Although this relates to both Raoul's and the Phantom's relationships with Emilie (2 Phantoms actually) I would like to use it for the married couple because their marriage has gone up and down and had its pitfalls and it's good times....but through it all, their marriage has endured and they both know they love each other deep down.
Music of the Night - Michael Crawford www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-GXo10hfKIFor: Erik Lenoir. This is really his song and how he felt about Christine, but it could relate to him and whoever he ends up with even if it's not Christine. Unchained Melody - the Righteous Brothers www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiiyq2xrSI0&feature=relatedFor: All the ghosts especially, but also for the characters who have been brought into the mansion.
I Will Always Love You - Dolly Parton www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RT_LS2M38M&feature=fvwrelFor: All the Mansion Characters, especially the Eriks...most of them have lost a loved one in the move and have to start all over again.
Stand By Me - Ben E. King www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbg7YoXiKn0&feature=list_other&playnext=1&list=AL94UKMTqg-9DLYg-Qf3cE8yvaVx_h5lfSFor: Raoul Edouard de Chagny. I think it shows the sentiment of how he wishes for Christine to always be by his side.
Hard to Love - Lee Brice www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0liNLHmvKYFor: Vicomte Raoul Edouard de Chagny. The song seems to perfectly give the sentiments of Edouard and Emilie's marriage and how he feels about her and how he thinks she feels a bout him. It was suggested to me by Kristine....Thanks, Kristine! Great choice!
Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq4a2te0yhEFor: Erik Lenoir and Christine Emilie. Erik wooing Emilie is definitely a ring of fire that they should not even be near. They have both gotten burned in their little love foray.

[ I Won't Back Down]-Sam Elliott www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdyRPjv-G14For: [Billie Cristofersen]-Perfectly portrays Billie. That gruff and constant guy. A true sort of Sam Elliott character. [Desire You]-Charon www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NNBlKHc9B0For: [Erik Destler and Teressa Lavalais]-In every way, this song embodies Destler's desire for Teressa who has captured his attention and heart here at the Manor. By all meas, he pursues her and desires her despite the obstacles.

[Prima Donna]-Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall in London Cast linkFor: [Carlotta Celestia Giudicelli] - I really don't think that an explanation is necessary here. It's kind of sort of Mamma's song in the show... Not to mention it has her motto in it, and she came right after the last note in the piece. [Lasagna]-Weid Al Yankovich linkFor: [Carlotta Celestia Giudicelli & Raoul Christophe de Chagny]-Okay, this is a weird pairing, but it has to do with a crack thread that Mel and I are planning where Carlotta is Hadders' mother and she's being a stereotypical Italian Mamma and stuffing his face with food.

[Trololo]-Eduard Khill (Formally known as "The trololo guy") CLICK MEH!For: [Blondie/Hadders]-Don't question! Just go with it! XD Seriously though, these two are such trolls at times, and in all of their threads with each other (which is like 4 or 5 if I recall correctly) One has always ended up trolling the other on at least one occasion.
