Meg continued to walk around the halls with the young boy and she held his hand tightly. Not wanting to lose track of him and she listened to his words. "You are very welcome, Gustave" she said smiling at him.
Hearing the yawn she raised an eyebrow. "Seems like someone's sleepy" she said giving a light giggle. "Perhaps we should start heading back to your room? Your mother could be there waiting for you" she said smiling looking at him. Meg started to make her way towards the stairs and she looked at him. "C'mon, I think its time you get some sleep" she told him.

The ten-year-old musical prodigy rubbed his brown eyes and yawned tiredly. It was already past his bedtime, but he had been having so much fun with the beautiful Princess Meg that he hadn’t previously paid any attention to his tiredness.
“Do you think mother is really there?” he asked with a sleepy smile, struggling to keep his little brown eyes open as he followed her. It was a wonder whether or not the boy would even be able to make it so far as the dormitories, He seemed almost ready to pass out on the floor right then and there.
((Note: This is before he and Emilie were reunited at the Manor, so he hasn’t seen his mother there at all))

Meg looked upon Gustave worriedly and she offered him a small smile. She kept her hand in his giving him a slight squeeze and she walked upstairs back to his room with him he shared with his mother. The blonde kept silent for sometime and she said nothing as they walked.
Hearing the young boy's question she looked down at him. "I'm sure she will. And if your mother's not there, do you want me to stay with you in your room and keep you company till she returns?" she asked looking at him. Meg would be more than happy to be with him until Christine came by and took over. Meg did not want the boy to be left alone tonight and she continued to walk the long hallways with him.

The two walked upstairs, all the while the younger was rubbing his eyes drearily. He was so very tired. It was, after all, well past his bedtime. He gave a sleepy nod and a yawn when the beautiful Princess Meg asked him if he would like her to stay with him in the room until his mother came.
“Oh, would you, Princess Meg?” He liked the idea very much, having her there to sit with him as he rested. He saw his father and mother watching the other sleep sometimes, and thought that it was perhaps something similar… in his innocent little mind at least, it was all the same.

Holding his hand lightly, Meg walked along the stairs with him back to his room. Remembering what door it was she looked upon Gustave and squeezed his hand gently. "Very well, I will stay with you" she said smiling. The young ballerina touched the door and it opened. Blinking she didn't know if the door was already opened or not and walked in.
"Christine?" she called softly looking around her surroundings. "How about you get ready for bed, and I'll go find your mother. How does that sound?" she asked smiling. She kissed the top of his head and she walked around the room. "Christine, where are you? Are you here?" she called again, there was no answer. Meg looked over at Gustave and sighed. "I'm sorry Gustave, it seems that she's not here. But don't worry, I will not leave you tonight. I will wait till she returns and I will watch over you, alright?" she said smiling.
Meg looked at the boy. "Go get ready. How about I tell you the story of your mother and I?" she said smiling again. Meg sat down in one of the chairs and she looked at him. Waiting for his answer, Meg would do her best to look over the child and she would tell him the story of how his mother and herself became friends. Every child liked Stories, so she would try her best with this one.

When they reached the room in the dormitories, little Gustave rubbed his eyes and dragged himself up into bed. He really was very tired. It was well past his bedtime, and he was truly in need of a good night’s sleep after his long evening of exploration with the beautiful princess Meg.
She curled up with his head on the pillow and looked up at her with heavy eyelids. She asked him if he would like to head a story—a question to which he gave a sleepy nod, and a little “Mhmm” and snuggled down a bit. He did very much enjoy listening to stories…

Closing the door gently to the boy's room and leaving a crack open, Meg walked over to the boy's bed and she looked at him turning on a lamp. "Are you ready for the story young one?" she asked looking upon the boy giving a small smile. The young blonde reached over and brushed some hair out of his face and she smiled a bit. "I'm sure once you fall asleep? Your mother will be here soon" she said smiling.
Meg looked at him and she giggled lightly. He looked so much like Christine, and she was pleased to have met him. She knew she would have to look after him if she couldn't find Christine. Taking in a deep breath, she looked at her. "Alright..." she said trying to figure out the best way to begin this and end this.
The blonde then cleared her throat and brushed her hair off her shoulders and looked at him with a kind smile. "You're mother an I met whilst we were still children" she began. Meg went on through out the whole tale and just stared at him. A sigh escaped her and she made things up as she went along to not frighten the poor boy. Meg stared at him and she tucked him in more as she continued to the story.

((This is GusGus’ last post. You can do one more if you wish, but I think that after that the thread can end.))
Gustave looked up with heavy eyelids at the beautiful young woman by his bed. He really was very excited for the story, though perhaps it did not look as though he were since he was so very tired from being up past his bedtime after such a long day. He snuggled into his pillow a little when she tucked him in.
He listened, his eyelids growing rather heavy, as she began telling the story about how she and his mother met and became friends when they were only children. Little Gustave thought that it was a wonderful story, but finding it more and more difficult to keep his eyes open, closed them as he listened.
It was not long before the little boy drifted off into sleep, thinking of the wonderful evening he had spent exploring and having ice cream with, and playing and dancing with Princess Meg.

Meg sat the edge of Gustave's bed and she made sure he was snugged in tightly in the bed and she giggled lightly. Then she cleared her throat and began her story towards the young boy. She could already tell he had a full-filled day and she continued on with the story as she smiled at him. The blonde touched his forehead as he started to drift off to sleep. She soon paused the story halfway through. Meg had to skip the scary parts for him of his mother being kidnapped by the ghost into something else that he would understand. Meg then slowly leaned forward and kissed his forehead. "Good Night Gustave" she said in a small voice. Dimming his lamp she stroked his hair once more and got up. She knew she would not leave him alone on his own, Meg sat in a near by chair and watched over him like any good friend would do. Meg sighed deeply and she leaned back watching him. Making sure he was going to be alright. Meg took a sigh and didn't sleep that night. She wanted to wait till Christine entered the room to go back to her own and sleep. For now, Meg would just sit here and watch the young boy sleep and she would protect him from anything that would be in harms way. (Finished Thread)
