"Perhaps," Adina repeated but smiled. "But it is strange. Not that I do not appreciate the contact… It has been so long since I have felt the hand of another person, the wind through my hair, or remembered the taste of food." She inhaled then exhaled deeply. "I know I cannot feel, but I do retain some emotions; and that is the only thing I can hold onto." She gave a gentle giggle as she watched Meg and repeated her stretching movements.
She watched Meg dance and became rather mesmerized! It was a simple but graceful movement, such fluid motions! Adina's feet began to move unconsciously as if trying to imitate the girl's movements. It was such a lovely dance and as Meg finished, Adina smiled and clapped her hands. "Bravo! Bravo!" Then Meg asked what Adina would like to see. She could not think and only shrugged lightly. "Anything, Meg. Something simple?" She asked with a smile.
She watched Meg tie up her hair and then undid the cloth around her head before using it to tie up her own hair s it would stay out of her face. She was so excited, she could barely stand the anticipation of possibly learning to dance!

After her dance she gave a playful little bow and she giggled. Meg caught her breath and placed her hands on her hips and she looked at her lightly. Meg was always a graceful dancer all thanks to her mother. She wanted her to be the best of the best. Smiling looking up at Adina she finished placed her hair up in a pony tale and she said nothing for a moment. "Merci Adina" she said smiling still.
The smile never left her face. "So..! What would you like to learn? I'm not a very good teacher...but I can try" she told her in a small voice. Meg studied Adina for a moment and she waited to hear what she wanted to learn.

"You're a very talented dancer, Meg," Adina smiled and lowered her hands, looking down at the worn little flats she had on. How was she going to properly dance in filthy little shoes like these? She frowned but then looked back up at Meg, trying to hide her embarrassment as she smiled again.
"Er, umm… Something simple? Perhaps le sissones? I have read some books in the library and saw one about ballet. It seemed very lovely." She smiled again and looked down at her feet once more. She really did want to dance, but then she remembered her shawl; she dared not take it off; even if she were a ghost, it was still a painful memory that seemed to stab her like a knife.

Hearing Adina's comment about her dancing she could only smile for a while. "Merci Adina, I have danced for as long as I can remember" she stated in a small voice. "I've danced all my life it would seem, my mother is the ballet mistress at the Paris Opera House" she said smiling a bit. "The one I told you about, where there was a ghost lurking about " she told her with a nod of the head. Meg brought her hands towards her again and she looked upon the girl again.
Meg looked at her thoughtfully and she smiled a bit. "Of course, I know those like the back of my hand. My first movements actually" she said with a light laugh. Meg then moved away towards the big open space again and did them. Moments later she came over to her. "Now you try, Just follow what I do alright?" she said smiling. If her mother was here with her seeing her teach a spirit how to dance, Meg knew her mother would be pleased.

Adina smiled with Meg and nodes politely. The girl told her about how her mother was the ballet mistress at the Paris Opera House. She listened as she spoke of the ghost who lurked within the walls of the building. It made Adina shiver- was that possible?- and rub her arms. Could a ghost feel cold? It was a very strange phenomena, one that even puzzled the female spectre.
The woman beamed happily, almost childlike when Meg agreed to show her how to dance. She stood fully upright and straightened her spine, She bit her lip and watched as Meg leapt lightly with such grace before landing on one foot. Adina inhaled deeply then exhaled. She took a small run then lept. Her legs scissored away from each other then back together before landing on one foot, nearly losing her balance. She cried out softly and staggered backwards. "Mon Dieu!" She exclaimed with such joy. "Incredible! Oh, merci, Meg! That was wonderful. I do not know how to thank you."

While the ballerina taught Adina how to dance like herself she also even demonstrated. Meg said nothing for sometime as she showed her a few secret techniques that her mother had given her on separate and more private rehearsals, she wanted to her to be the best. Meg looked upon her Adina and tried helping her.
Once everything was laid out she then brought them all together in one dance routine. Meg smiled and grinned a bit more as she giggled. "Your welcome Adina, you don't need to thank me. I love teaching others my specialty." she said smiling upon her. Meg looked around and she brushed back her hair and she looked at her again. "Once you practice like me, you'll get better each time" she said to her in a gentle voice.

Adina felt a little awkward because of the length of her skirt but she dared not remove it- nor could she do that. She tried to twirl and she was able to for a second before the skirt spiraled around her legs, almost making her trip. "D-Damn!" She covered her mouth. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to say that."
She watched Meg do the entire routine from top to bottom. It looked simple enough but why couldn't she get it right? Then Meg explained about how, with practice, she could get better. She smiled. "I think I understand that. Practice makes perfect, oui?" She smiled at Meg and then decided that immodesty would have to do. She bit her lip and hiked up her skirt above her knees and tied it around her thighs loosely so that she could still move her legs. She blushed a bit, but at least she could move now. "If I may, I would like to try again."

Meg gave a giggle when she heard her swear and she looked at her. "You're fine Adina, Your just fine don't worry about it.." she said smiling upon her. Meg said nothing for a moment and she smiled still. "It was only once, and I'm sure its not a bad thing" she told her.
While she stood there she crossed her feet in a danty manner and she looked at her as she stood perfectly straight and still. "Yes, it makes perfect. My mother always pushed me to my hardest to make me as perfect as can be" she said softly. "Of course, your more than welcome to try again" she told her with a smile.

She swallowed hard and looked down at the ground… She should have known better than to curse like that; her father would have beaten her senseless for saying such a thing and she knew that. The flustered maid shuddered and tugged at her skirt to straighten it out before tying it up a little, something to busy herself as Meg reassured her.
Adina looked up at Meg and tried hard to laugh off the minor mishap. She listened as the ballerina explained how her mother would push her to be perfect; it made Adina think… What would've her mother been like? Would she have been proud of Adina for getting where she was now? As head maid of the manor of Charles Dalimar? Her line of thought was broken when Meg said that she could try again if she wanted. She nodded and inhaled deeply before taking a second go at the movement. This time she got the movements correct, but she didn't quite stick the landing and stumbled a bit. Better, but not quite right, she thought to herself. "Was that good, Meg?" She asked with a smile.

While Adina practiced she looked about her surroundings and said nothing for sometime. Silence was with her and she smiled a little at Adina. "That's okay don't worry about it. Practice makes perfect as my mother always says" she said smiling a bit. Her mother would be proud of her right now as she taught this girl how to do ballet.
Meg then walked around the ballroom her hands behind her back as she walked. Then she paused in her tracks and heard Adina's voice. Perhaps asking about her comment of approval. "It was beautiful Adina" she said smiling. "You just gotta keep practicing whenever you can" she said to her once more.

"Merci, Meg," Adina continued to practice and even tried to spin on one foot, which she did with ease. Her shoes were so soft from constant wear and always being on her feet. It was strange that even as a ghost, she could still feel the fabric of her own clothing and her shoes, but nothing else; no cold, no heat, not even the touch of another person.
She smiled at Meg and nodded. Practice, that was something Adina was good at. "Of course, Meg. Is there anything else that I should know?" She asked, smiling as she sat down to try and stretch her arms and legs. She had read the stretching was good before working or even for such a thing as dancing.

Giving a small grin she said nothing for a moment. Only watched her pupil dance her own dance and she nodded her head. "You're quite welcome Adina" she said in a soft voice. Meg said nothing else and she eyed everything around her.
The young girl was a spirit yes, but she had so my joy in everything around her. The young ballerina looked up on her and she smiled and shook her head. "No, just keep practicing and you'll get better once we move along" she told her gently.

"Thank-you, Meg," She was so happy to be learning to dance. It was almost as if she could hear music in her head as she danced and spun across the floor. A smile beamed across her face as she danced; a strange aura began to glow around her and then she stopped.
"Mon Dieu!" She gasped, looking down at her hands to see the outline of her fingers and arms glowing brightly. This was so strange! What was going on?! Was this a metaphysical response to her own happiness? "Meg! W-What is going on?" She asked, her eyes looking to Meg's with shock and confusion.

"You're very welcome Adina, I'm always happy to help others dance the way I do. Mother wants me to take her place when she retires" she told her in a small voice. Meg smiled happily as she watched the young spirit dance around the floor. She was improving even though she taught her a few moments ago.
Noticing the concern and worry of her voice. She was glowing brightly and she looked upon Adina. "I think it just means you're happy or something. To be honest, I'm not really sure" she said frowning."It won't hurt you, I promise" she told her. "At least I think it won't" she said in a concerned voice. "Have you ever had this done to you before?" she questioned meeting her gaze.

But something about the glowing around Adina felt wrong… Very wrong. She looked at her hands and saw that they were trembling. But why? What was causing this to happen? She looked at Meg with a helpless expression in her eyes. "M-Meg?"
The ghost began to dim then brighten; something really was wrong! She suddenly gasped when she saw her hands become almost opaque! She was becoming mortal again?! But why?? This couldn't be possible! "I don't understand! This has never happened before! Meg, I think I-!"
Then, suddenly, Adina fell into a faint and disappeared from the room just before she fell upon the floor!
