The young blonde looked over at the other one as she spoke. "You're welcome" she said with a small smile and handed her the tea cup and then she walked over to the tea set and poured herself some tea as well. Meg came back to sit with Christine as she spoke. She was so eager to know what married life was like or better yet to have someone who loved you.
Meg looked at her and smiled softly listening to her words closely. She kept quiet as she took a sip of her tea and she looked at him. "Its so strange that we were brought here. I wish to know the answers soon so we can go back to our own times" she told her in her raspy voice that she always had. Then she nodded her head to her trying not to push it any longer. "Very well then..." she said then she looked down into her cup of tea and she held the cup for a moment and warmed her hands.

Christine sipped from her cup of tea. “Mmm.... it is very good. What specific blend is this? There's almost a light citrus flavor to it, like oranges...” she took another sip, inhaling deeply. Good tea certainly did help to relieve stress and to calm one down. She had been stressed quite a bit lately being here in this strange place where nothing was quite as it seemed.
She nodded a bit when the woman spoke of how strange it was that they had been brought there. “What is even stranger,” she said, “is the place itself. There are so many strange machines, and the whole place is filled with electric bulbs and wiring. It's quite astounding actually, and yet frightening all at once.”

When Christine asked her what kind of blend of tea it was, she looked at her curiously and tilted her head for a moment. "To be honet? I'm not really sure, i found it in a basket in the dining area of the manor and thought I'd take some. Its good isn't it. So far my favorite" she said giggling.
Placing her tea down she held it on her lap and looked back at her. Listening to what she had to say. "Machines? What do you mean and what kind of Machines?" she asked looking at her. Her eyes closing in a little with confusion and she looked upon her gently.

Christine couldn't help but to shrink a little when the other girl said that she wasn't sure what type of tea she was and that she had found it lying around. Christine wasn't exactly the type to take things she found lying around, especially not things meant for consumption. It was too late to change her mind now though. It would have been rude og her not to finish the cup. Instead, she decided to dismiss it for the time being.
The other girl asked about the machines. “Oh!” she said. “In the kitchen. There are strange machines about and some of them are terribly frightening and make horrid loud noises...” She recalled the spinning carafe she had come across

Sniffing her drink a little she grinned a bit. "Though it smells like Herbal Tea" she said looking upon Christine lightly grinning a bit. "I can usually tell what kind of tea it is with the scent from it" she said nodding. "Strange, I know but my friend Christine and I would make tea all the time in the Opera house in the kitchen and see if I can guess what it is" she said giggling at the memory.
Then Meg tilted her head a little as this Christine, spoke about the machines within the kitchen. "Oh, I know. When I was in there with Monsieur Lenoir, he taught me how to use them. They are so strange. I can't wait to go back to our own times where those things don't exist" she said sighing.

Christine inhaled the tea and gave a small taste. “It does seem like a sort of herbal. Perhaps camomile and lemon grass? It's not too strange. Anyone who is familiar with it is usually able to tell from the taste or smell. Though I've never heard anyone making a game of it before...”
The girl had to stifle a bit of laughter. “Back to our own times? Please don't tell me that you actually believe that we're in another time. The idea is simply preposterous! It is physically impossible for any of us to have come into a different time...”

"It does, doesn't it..." she said trying to make conversation with her. "Its all so very interesting here.." she told her a moment later with a sigh. "Can...I make a confession to you?" she said suddenly not meeting her gaze. "This is.....the first time I've been away from my mother. She's basically the only family I have" she muttered.
Meg giggled after confessing. "Well Miss, I-I mean Christine. What do you expect young girls to do in a ballet dorm alone some nights?" she said smiling looking up at her. Then her smile faded and she went silent when she listened to Christine speak. A sigh escaped her. "Perhaps your right. I dont know what I was thinking..." she said looking away for a moment.

((Short post is short .-.))
Christine shrugged a little when Meg said that this was the first time she'd ever been away from her mother. “You gt used to it eventually... If it's any consolation, I know exactly how you feel... Alone, scared, lost... I felt the exact same way...”
Christine paused a moment in silence. “I can't really say I would know, to be honest. The only time that I've ever set foot in a ballet dormitory was to visit someone, and even then, it was no more than only a few minutes...”

"I hope your right Christine, and I hope she doesn't come here. But There are times when I wish she would" she said sighing looking down at her feet and shifting them a little. Setting down her tea cup she sighed and played with her hair for a bit.
Meg looked over at Christine again as she spoke to her. "Ah, I see" she said nodding her head a little. A sigh escaped her and she was beginning to feel rather sleepy. "I don't wish to be rude, Mademoiselle but I've grown to become rather tired. Can we continue this conversation tomorrow Miss?" she asked looking at her frowning a bit. "We can meet anywhere you wish, but I'd like to get some sleep" she said frowning a bit more and standing to walk her out of her room.

Christine stared at the young woman with a sad understanding of what she was feeling. She had felt the exact same way when she had lost her father, and now felt that way again about her dear old Mamma Valérius. While she wanted desperately to see her again, she knew that she would be safe back in Paris, and would not wish this dreaded place upon her, especially not in her fragile state of old age.
“Oh! No, no, you are not being rude at all. It is getting rather late. I'm sorry for keeping you up. I should probably go head to bed myself... It was good talking to you though.” She stood and gave a small smile. “Perhaps we could meet in the dining room tomorrow afternoon, for lunch? Anyway, goodnight. It was nice to meet you.” And with this, she left the room in order to head up to her own.

Meg looked upon the blonde haired version of Christine for a moment and smiled a little. Rising from her bed she looked at her and walked her to the door. "Oh, don't be sorry Christine. Its quit alright" she said nodding her head lightly and walking with her. She played with her hair lightly and she looked upon her still as she spoke a little. The young blonde tried to get everything through but she was so tired upon what was going on.
Her head went down for a moment and looked at the ground then back up at Christine. "Yes Of coures, Christine!" she said smiling softly at her. When she heard her words, Meg only nodded. "It was nice meeting you as well Christine" she said watching her leave and then closing the door to her room and then she went to bed and laid down. Once on the bed she closed her eyes and went instantly to sleep.
