"Alright," she looked over and replied to Billie as he stepped away then turned her attentions back to Lenoir. Seeing him now seated and looking rather distraught or ill. She began to grow concern for her dear friend and moved to knelt beside his chair, resting her hand upon the armrest then rubbed his shoulder, "Are you alright," she did her best to keep her voice down that only he could hear. But she looked genuinely concerned about him.
"Is there anything you want me go get for you?" Wondering if she could even step away from him. She glanced up to look about, especially at the woman that Lenoir had pointed out and it looked like there was some other man who was occupying her attentions. She couldn't help but to watch Lavalais, too.
Glancing about to see everyone rather occupied except Lavalais and she did want to at least go wish him a Merry Christmas but she would not leave Lenoir's side if he was ill.

A man walked up to Erik, suggesting that perhaps he should go next with the gift exchange. It seemed like a nice suggestion, so Erik went over to the tree and picked out the gift with his name on it. It was wrapped brilliantly, in a nice colour of green. Taking the package in his hands, he undid the ribbon and tore through the wrapping paper, to the box beneath. There was something wrapped inside the box...
He set the box down and unwrapped the object, his face lighting up when he saw what he'd gotten. A new journal! Much better than the one he'd had at home! It was just what he wanted! He grinned up at the multitude of people, and though he didn't know a lot of them, he was grateful.
"Goodness...I don't know what to say...And I certainly don't know who could've gotten this for me...But if I had to guess...was it Lenoir...?" Erik looked up at the man who bore his name, thinking that perhaps he'd be lucky and guess correctly.

Ana asked Erik if he were all right. He nodded without a lot of conviction. He saw her keep glancing at Lavalais and he whispered, "Why don't you go speak to him. You don't have to stay here with me."
Then he looked up for the next gift exchange. It appeared the tall man who many in the mansion were constantly mixing him up with was opening his gift. Mr Y, he called himself. Erik had spoken with him and wasn't really sure what to think of him. But he had seen the little episode with Gustave de Chagny and the other Erik and he felt a bit kinder toward the fellow. He obviously had a good heart. Then he realized. Mr Y might have another reason for his care and concern for the boy...
Mr Y opened the gift and then mentioned Lenoir, whom he thought gave the gift. Erik spoke up. "Non, Monsieur, I did not give the gift..."

Roselin continued to stand on the sidelines, watching the world progress around her, as she delightedly tapped her foot. Well, what child wasn't eager in some way to receive, give, and rip open the wrapping to a gift?! Roselin was one of those children that did not take time to delicately take off wrapping, beautiful as it may be, she can't help but claw that silly wrapping off and hug the new item, what ever it may be!
Her smile widened as she saw Gustave, the boy from the Love Never Dies musical, was called out to open his present and he did so gleefully and got a violin! It was such a lovely violin from what she could see from her spot. She smiled gleefully then looked around at the adults surrounding her. Were any of them even paying any attention? She though, almost irritatedly. Maybe it was a pet-peeve of hers. It annoyed her when the adults were doing their own things when the kids were having all of the fun. It just seemed to her like the magic wasn't complete unless everyone was happy!
Roselin then smiled and saw that Castagne had exchanged gifts with Gustave. They must have had each other as secret Santas, how funny! She couldn't help but 'd'awww' some as she saw them hug. He was such a cute character! And it was such a sweet hug, if only she had her camera on her! She then watched as... Mr. Y opened his present! He was here too? Then again, now that she realized it, she recognized nearly everyone! There was Lenoir, Castagne, Mlle. de Chagny and her son, Carriere, and now.... The little blonde girl's eyes widened, distracted away from Mister Y's guessing at the events unfolding at the door. What she had the strong feeling of having to be the ORIGINAL Erik, was walking through the door. But something rather worse... a man she didn't knew was putting up... the very plant that calls for the KISSING TRADITION! And they were just about in it!

Lu saw the older man she had met briefly the night that everyone had gathered in Lenoir's bedroom. She racked her brain to think of what his name was. Billie...that's what it was. He greeted her. "Mister Billie, I am right, ain't I? That's yer name? Like the dress'? I feel all purdy in it."
Then her attention was drawn to the gift exchange. She watched Gustave and Castagne's gift exchange and the next when Mr Y opened his and enquired who the giver was.

Christine had been watching the gift exchange, and head that 'Mister Y' was going next. She had to stifle a small giggle as she watched him unwrap her gift. He certainly seemed to like it, and for that, Christine was quite grateful.
A small smirk spread across her face when the man guessed Lenoir. He seemed so very confused as to who could have given it to him. Discretely, she came up behind him and have a light tap on his shoulder.
“Merry Christmas, 'Mister Y',” she chuckled. “It's to your liking I hope?”

Will had just finished hanging the mistletoe when he was suddenly bumped into. Lo and behold, it was... Erik! Erik Erik, the one who didn't really have a last name. He loved this Erik. He was kind of dark and twisty and of course, the original is always the best. Kind of. He was a noseless wonder, skinny to the max, and it kind of hurt getting hit by such a bony man.
It seemed to surprise Erik more than anything, and he stumbled backwards with an apology that went from surprise to annoyance to forced politeness. He seemed to notice the mistletoe, and didn't immediately run away, so...
Will grinned and grabbed Erik's back, pulled him close, and all at once, kissed him hard. It wasn't a short kiss, though one wouldn't classify it as "making out." Erik was a bit taller than him, so he had to stand on his toes, but he still got Erik pretty good, smacked him square on the lips. Finally he pulled back, and oh, he knew Erik wouldn't have liked this, but he said anyways, "Mm, that was nice." He gave a loud, booming laugh. "Good show, Erik."

Erik turned to the young woman, grinning. "Thank you so much, mademoiselle...It's exactly what I wanted." He took her hand, bowing and pressing his lips to her knuckles. Then he let go of her hand and stepped back, allowing her to find her gift under the tree.
He turned, looking for a place to stand while he inspected his new journal. He found a spot on the other side of the room. Leaning against the wall there, he opened the journal's latches and flipped through the pages, revelling in the smell of new paper. He got distracted, however, by a little commotion by the door. He looked up in time to see the man who'd spoken to him earlier KISS another man in a mask!
Erik stifled a laugh, covering his mouth with the back of his hand. OH, that was priceless!

Erik wasn't quite watching, not paying attention to much of anything. Would Christine come, did she sign up? He would have liked if she would at least get a gift.... He sighed and looked down. Oh why did he care any how... then again... why did he not want to care so much? Erik listened to the mixed chatter around him, the laughter and happiness from those who were around the presents.
For Erik at the moment, nothing much was really going on, at least for him. Erik glanced up, just for a moment or two, to scan the room. But then his eyes came across something he did not expect to see and his back went right up against the wall, his eyes wide, and didn't quite know what was going on there. "What the bloody Hell?" He muttered not too loudly, but loud enough that anyone could have heard. He had never in his life he had seen... such a display. And although there were many things he had not yet seen, that was something he could have lived without.

Erik was still watching Teressa, trying not to seem obvious. He tried to look about the room to watch other people, but his eyes kept going back to her. And Destler. He sighed. The next gift would be coming up. The little blonde Christine had given the last gift and she would be next.
Then he saw something odd going on at the door. As Will was hanging the mistletoe over the door, Érik came in, the tall arrogant one Lenoir didn't like. Just as he came in he bumped Will by mistake and Will grabbed him and kissed him !!??! Good Lord, men kissing? And in public? What was that about? Erik rolled his eyes. There were some bizarre people living at the mansion...

Without warning, Érik's face began to boil. This man was... This man was... THIS MAN WAS KISSING HIM!?!? What was going on?! What the hell did he get himself into?! Was Christine watching? DID SHE SEE THIS?! Oh, he would KILL this man! He would wrap his hands around his throat and SQUEEZE VERY HARD until he turned POSITIVELY PURPLE! THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE!
These thoughts only lasted a moment, as the 'act' only lasted a second. But... STILL! His eyes were filled with rage and utter embarrassment. His cheeks faded from red to pink, because he KNEW people were staring at him. And LORD did he hate people staring at him...
"You... You...!" He very nearly strangled this man, who merely grinned and applauded him for his sportsmanship... Érik shuddered, and glared at him. "That was NOT funny!" He began to glance around the room. A few people had noticed it... But it seemed Christine had not, thank GOD. His eyes told them all "This was not my doing!" but he couldn't say anything so as not to draw MORE attention to himself.
He breathed deeply, and pushed past the man who had... had... he couldn't even say it. WHY?! His first... NO, it was NOT his first... He scrubbed his mouth and glared back at him, getting as far away as possible from him. He ended up on the other side of the room, away from the people who had seen. He was utterly mortified, but he tried to calm down... After all, he couldn't kill anyone. Not now, at least...
Érik leaned against a wall, keeping and eye on those who had witnessed them, ordering them with his eyes not to speak of it. He spotted Christine, and when he caught her eye he smiled at her, thankful she hadn't seen (or had she...? He prayed to god that she hadn't). He would speak to her later, but for now, he was too mortified for words...
This was a BAD idea.

Post by Madam Leona on Dec 22, 2012 1:22:10 GMT -5
Madam Leona had been in the room the whole time. She had not wanted to show up until she found it fit for herself. But Leona could not help but finally come into the room, looking quite alive with her dress looking red, her feet still a little transparent, but now she had to save herself from that awkward scene. Some might believe Will to be mad, quite off his rocker. But she had spent quite a bit of time with him here. And all that could explain Will's actions was that 'it was Will'.
Leona suddenly wondered if Alfred had seen Will's interesting display with the poor original phantom character. She walked through the people, looking for the kind man, then finally spotted him. She smiled some and walked up to him, looking quite human and alive (though she really was completely dead) and spoke warmly to him. "Well mister Alfred, an interesting party so far, is it not?" She chuckled briefly. "And how might you be quite fairing tonight dear sir?"

for mister y Many people seemed to notice the kiss, which Will didn’t really care about, but thought was a bit funny. However, Erik most definately did. Right, he surely should have known that Erik wouldn’t react positively but he didn’t need to scrub his lips like that! He was clean! Well, actually, he was dead, but that didn’t make him dirty. He gave a little pout for about two seconds before sucmbing to a throaty chuckle once more. ”You... you... THAT WAS NOT FUNNY!” Erik cried, stalking away. Will just kept laughing. It was a bit mean of him, he guessed, and he did feel a little bad, but the amusing side of this just overshadowed the guilt. Especially because now Erik was brooding in a corner. That was kind of funny too. It came across Will’s mind that Erik might actually kill him for that, but what the hell, he couldn’t die twice. Or at least, he was pretty sure he couldn’t...! He saw that Mister Y - other Erik - was laughing, unlike most of the others, who seemed quite sour. Spoil-sports, couldn’t handle a bit of good-natured fun! He sauntered over to Mister Y, quite giddy, and said, after forcing himself to stop chuckling (twice - he failed the first time) said, ”I don’t think I’ve introduced myself yet. I’m Will,” he grinned mischievously. He shook Mister Y’s hand eagerly, then pulled himself a little closer and pointed towards the doorway where he had left the Mistletoe, ”I’m hoping for some more awkward situations, they’re funny,” Will said breathily, trying to keep his voice down but rather failing when he burst out into a fresh round of giggles. He seemed all for the world drunk, but he didn’t care - he loved people, and all of his were here, now.

When the tall man approached him, Edouard was amazed at his likeness to his brother Phillippe, who had died some years ago. He looked so much like him. Could it be him? Come back to the mansion as a ghost, perhaps?
The man blinked when Edouard gave his name. And then said his name was Phillippe de Chagny. "Phillippe? Then it is you? But how? You died some years ago...I mean....my brother Phillippe died..." Edouard was becoming totally confused. Obviously Phillippe was too, as he almost backed into a chair.
"You're not a ghost, are you? I would love to have my brother back. I miss him...."

Meg was extremely peeved at Mister Y for first not answering her question for Maria's attention, then for going over to the KID! OH, she should have known. Her face heated up slightly, but she tried to hold it in. She watched their little exchange instead, and absently talked to Maria. "Yes, yes we did. It's good to see you again!" She smiled, while still keeping her eyes on Mister Y. "Sorry for Mister Y, he gets distracted pretty easily...
Indeed he did... but she found it quite... Sweet, what he was doing. Even if every second he spoke to Gustave was one step closer away from her, she couldn't help but find their exchange cute and heart-warming. After all, it was the Christmas season. She really should put aside her jealousy and just try to have fun, enjoy the holidays! That's why she'd dressed up, wasn't it?
After a little while longer chatting with Maria, she decided to move over to where Christine was sitting and chat with her. It wouldn't do to avoid her, if she was going to keep up appearances. "Please, excuse me, honey, but I gotta go catch up with an old friend of mine!" she said to Maria, and headed off to bother Madame de Chagny.
"Merry Chrsitmas, Christine," she began as she sat next to her. She realized it was best not to talk to Mister Y right now, especially since Christine was so near. She watched as he opened his present. She wished she'd known he was here, else she would have gotten him something special... Like she had every year, but couldn't give him...
She leaned over and whispered in her friend's ear, "Who's that your hubby is talking to? They look a lot alike..." In fact she felt she'd seen him before, but couldn't place where. Maybe at the opera, ten years ago? That might be why she couldn't remember his name.
She did catch the display of the two men kissing, but she had no idea who they were. It was pretty funny, though, especially when the taller, masked man got so angry. She'd be angry too, if she was him, but she might see the jest in it as well. When the kisser had walked over to Mister Y, she suddenly wished to talk to him again... If only for a moment...
