She's here! The one, the only, the original CHRISTINE DAAÉ from the 1911 Gaston Leroux Novel (A.K.A. "Blondie") Christine was taken near the very end of her story, a week after Érik lets everyone go and 2 weeks before the article is published in l'Époque sating "Érik is dead" A timeline of Blondie's experiences at the manor can be found hereSome other things you should know about Christine: - SHE IS BLONDE! NOT BRUNETTE!
- She's only 5'1, so she's pretty short
- She is married to Raoul de Chagny, A.K.A. Westley
- She is a catholic and we typists jokingly call her the resident "nun"
- Despite popular belief, SHE DOES NOT HATE ÉRIK!
- Her faceclaim is Christine Nilsson, who was Gaston Leroux's inspiration for the character originally and who was a famous opera singer known as the Second Swedish Nightingale
- She's currently 19 years old
- Her birthday is October 28th (same day as mine because she seems like a Scorpio)
- She's a bit more... bold (to put it nicely) than your typical Christine
- feel free to torture her in any way that you like because I find it amusing XD
- She realizes that there are ghosts in the Manor, but still have difficulty accepting the fact and often feel as if she's imagining interaction with them. (NOTE: This may is different in some of her earlier threads s with Madam Leona and King William Leverich II)
- She is afraid of the dark
- She's currently pregnant, so be gentle

I've started an open thread 'A pale gleam over her features" in the dormitories for anyone who is interested. If you are a ghost though and you wish to join, please do not allow poor Christine to know that you are a ghost yet XDD she still has to think that Érik is responsible for all of this until they finally meet up. Poor guy...
[NOTE: This thread was claimed by Leffie for Meg Oh La La Giry]

A note to all of those who have threads with Christine from May or before, I would prefer those threads started to wrap up if they are not already and finish ASAP. This is the list of all threads that fall under this category, though I know that quite a few are very close to finishing:
1.) Where is the Voice? (Érik) 3/3 2.) When Reality Masquerades as Impossible (Christine Joy Daaé) 3/14 3.) The Grand Tour (Raoul Christophe de Chagny) 3/17 4.) Round and Round (Alexander Arjon) 3/18 5.) The Pit and the Pendulum (Thomas Boehm) 3/23 6.) Like the Musée Grévin (Erik Carriere) 3/26 7.) I Sang Desdemona with a Despair (Erik Baissé) 3/31 [NOTE: this thread to be recycled for when Mel makes her Gerik] 8.) A pale gleam over her features (Meg "Oh! la la" Giry) 3/29 9.) I was Very Hungry (Elisheva "Erika" Urban) 4/9 10.) His Hands Smelt of Death (Érik) 4/9 11.) New Acquaintances (Raoul de Chagny, Raoul Edouard de Chagny) 4/22 12.) A tiny book with Gilt edges (Teressa Lavalais) 4/27 13.) A Very Unhappy Birthday (Raoul Christophe de Chagny) 4/21 14.) I'm a Sweet Ghostie (Jack Darkar) 4/28 15.) No Such Thing as the Angel of Music (King William Leverich II) 5/17 16.) The Moon Shed a pale gleam (Meg Jules Giry) 5/20 17.) Into the Shadows to Hide (Erik Destler, Raoul de Chagny, Raoul Edouard de Chagny, Erik Lenoir) 5/24 18.) Easter Vigil (Christine Emilie de Chagny, Raoul Edouard de Chagny, Erik Lenoir, Erik Lavalais, Raoul de Chagny) 5/24

I think that they should too. It would be interesting, definitely, considering the fact that Joy was supposed to be the maid of honor at Westley and Blondie's wedding (Joy had been the first actual friend Blondie made in the manor, since the first threads with Hadders and Lenoir they were far from friends to begin with).
Technically there was little enough actual posted plotting that it could be possible to act as if they'd never met... or there could be a sort of time anomaly where one believes they've met the other and is all confused when she doesn't remember anything.
I definitely think that they'd end up as friends, though the latter option might be a bit turbulent at first just because of the whole same person but not the same scenario.

I definitely agree to a time shift, where Mariah/Joy has kind of flickered in and out and she doesn't remember ever being at the manor, obviously, because why would she? A glitch in the "net" that the ghosts have, kind of. They should be really good friends, I can imagine them as close to sisters. Mariah definitely is a woman child, even though she can really ate up to the plate and be brave, a lot like your Christine. They're also the two original Christines!

Indeed they are lol
Okay, so now that we've established that, how do you propose we have the two of them meet? Did you want to have it as her arrival thread, or would you prefer it to be a couple threads after she arrives?

Well. I think it would be best for Mariah to arrive in the company of someone friendly, and after Emma Ravenhearst, Christine is the Lady of the House, and spends a lot of time moving around, correct? So I bet those two would meet first.

Arrival it is then! :3 Christine does keep inside the house a lot and also wanders, so location could be a great number of places... Where would you like to have Mariah arrive? One a location is decided, situation will be a bit easier. We have the time anomaly going... but what do we want besides that? Do you want to do an eventual tour, or some sort of activity?

Well I'm gonna have her zapped in right when she gets on stage to perform in Carlotta's place, so she can go into a dead faint and then wake up on the shamble stage that's actually in the manor--what kind of renovations have they done to that area?

Sounds good. It's been cleaned a lot, I know. All of the seats have been reupholstered, and I believe something has been done about the chandelier that was hanging partially (although I'm not sure it's been replaced, I'd have to check with Rachel). The curtains have not been replaced yet, I believe, but overall the house area of the theatre is in much better array.

Alright. Obviously it'll still have the antiqueish look and Mariah will know right away that something is wrong.
