After running as fast as she had never ran before, Christine was exhausted. When she reached the inside of the Manor, she let go of Lydia's hand and fell on her knees, panting. "I swear there was something out there!" she exclaimed, really wanting to cry.
She then looked up at Lydia and calmed down a little bit. "I'm... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you," she then started to let out a few tears. "I'm just... so confused... and scared... and I want to go home." Saying the word 'home' immediately brought her to tears as she continued to speak, her voice cracking. "I don't know how I got here or why... but I don't want to be here... this place scares me..." she said, curling up in a ball on the floor, crying her head out.

The moment Christine had released her hand, Lydia waved it around slowly to take in the fact that her hand was free. She was no longer being pulled along by who she thought was a complete and total nutcase. For a moment she wanted to yell out that this was insane. But just as she thought of that she wondered what she meant by that. What was insane? Christine? The manor? How they had gotten there out of thin air? She had not one clue. She just knew that something was insane.
Seeing the look on the young girls face had oddly saddened her. Normally, Lydia could care not of other's feelings, lest she knew them well. Perhaps it was the fact that she had performed ballet with Christine. Perhaps it was the fact that she had, in some way, felt bad for Christine. Truly she did not know. But watching her curl up on the floor created the most frightening sadness in Lydia's heart. She wanted to comfort her.
Trudging forward, she took a seat beside Christine and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I understand." She spoke softly. Her voice was calm and almost maternal as she continued. "This place scares me too...But...we have to stick together, non? We'll figure this out.." She mumbled the last sentence just before cautiously looking around. A sudden chill ran down her spine and she shivered. They had to stick together. It was the only thing they could do to solve this mystery. That was her belief.

After crying for a long time, Christine finally stopped and sighed. She could actually felt that someone was there for her and she was glad to know that. She then sat up and looked at Lydia. She was right, they /had/ to stick together.
"Yes... yes, we have to," she muttered. "We need to find a way out..." she added, wiping her tears away.
"Tell me... how did you get here?" she asked her, forcing a soft smile. She had heard little about the place but she wanted to know more. She wanted to know what other rooms where there and what History they held. She wanted to know everything and she couldn't do it by herself. That's why she was glad she had found Lydia, someone to, at least, talk to.

Listening to her cry, Lydia tried to be comforting, but the whole comforting scenario was new to her. She was more of a hide in the corner type and to be comforting the nut of the manor...It only made things much more difficult for her. Yet she had meant what she said about sticking together. They didn't know what laid about in such a place, who lived in this place, why they were there. Thus, sticking together would be safer and would make them stronger. When Christine sat up, she sat back and sighed heavily. The poor girl looked like Hell in that moment.
"A way out?" Lydia mumbled, her brow furrowed with the question of whether that was possible. "We-...we don't know what could be out there." Now, she sounded as though she were the paranoid one. This was not like her! Lydia knew not to question the unknown! Yet in this moment it was all she could do.
"Honestly, I truly have no idea. One moment I was wandering through a passage at the opera and the next I found myself heading toward a random room in this manor." Answering honestly she tried to keep calm but the idea of walking one place and finding herself in another scared her. After all, now she had to find her way around, learn about this place and all who inhabited it. Seeing how the cruel man from the dinning hall treated her and watching Christine's mind slowly become unexplainable only made her wonder if she wanted to meet the other's. Were there other's? She'd secretly hoped not, yet at the same time she wanted there to be other's to tell them more about this place.

"The same happened to me..." Christine told her, standing up from the floor and preparing herself to walk around the place. "Would you come with me? I'm sure there are other people here. We should find them!" she stated, looking around the room quickly.
Not waiting for her answer, she started walking towards a corridor. It was quite dark and it kinda scared her at first. But she didn't care. She walked through it and inspected a few door. Nothing too important in there...
"Lydia?" she called out softly. Then she realized she might have not been following her. Christine turned around and called again, louder this time. "Lydia?"

She stood from the floor, herself. Short as ever compared to the girl she had been comforting a few moments ago. "W-I..." Lydia had wanted to disagree, to say no. She did not want to meet anyone else. The first person she had met here had tried to kidnap her. Then, meeting Christine, she grew weary of the hope that there would be normal people in such a place as this. If they had met another who, for instance, were to try to kill them they were as good as dead. She knew it not to be the sanest idea, but who was she to stay away from the face of danger?
Before she knew it, Christine had begun to walk off in another direction. Lydia's brow furrowed and she pursed her lips, remaining as stubborn as an ox. Yet she felt protective. She did not want to see the one person who seemed slightly more normal than the other person she had met to go away, leaving her astray in such a place as this one so she followed her into a dark corridor. Lydia shuttered in that moment and felt a sense of vulnerability.
Unable to see a thing, Lydia thought that Christine had gotten lost. Unable to hear footsteps other than her own assured her that it must have been true. She heard her name being called softly yet did not recognize the voice and walked towards it with slight fear. When the voice grew louder she realized it was that of Christine. "Christine?" She called in response. She continued walking until she bumped into something, unknowingly and screamed at the top of her lungs.

Walking through the corridor, she heard Lydia calling out her name. She turned around and didn't see her at first. But she had heard her clearly. She was calling for her. Frowning a little, she walked towards where she had come, trying to adjust her eyes to the darkness of the corridor.
When she heard her scream, Christine jumped and screamed, too, out of fear. Hesitantly, she rushed over to where the voice had come from. "Lydia! Lydia, what happened!?" she called out as she ran. Finally getting to where she was, she looked at her and grabbed her arms gently. "What? What did you see? What did you hear? What happened?"

She couldn't see what she had bumped into nor did she know what it was and it only frightened her more. Lydia tried to keep calm and stopped screaming. Hearing Christine call out for made her wonder if Christine were actually worried. The tone in her voice had actually seemed so, but because Lydia had never really experience someone's worry she could not tell.
When Christine showed up nearby and began to ask questions, she did not know what to say or what to do. She truly had no answer and instead she spoke fast with a quivering voice. "I bumped into something...I don't know what it was. Just..scared me is all." Her answer was honest though she was mentally cursing herself for admitting she was scared. "We shouldn't have come in here.."

Christine tried to look around to see what was there, but the corridor was dark enough for her not to see anything below her knees. "I can't see what it was..." she told Lydia sadly. "It's too dark..." she added, still looking down at the floor and trying to adjust her eyes. Nothing. There was nothing there. "Lydia... there's nothing there, but I heard you screaming. How... how did it feel like?"
Placing a hand on Lydia's arm, Christine pulled her further into the corridor, trying to get away from the spot where Lydia bumped into whatever was there. But when she said that they shouldn't be there, Christine froze. "W-What do you mean?"

"i-It felt.." She couldn't begin to describe it. Her first reaction was to fear it for there was no other way of knowing what it was. For all they knew it could be a dead body. When Christine said there was nothing there, Lydia frowned. She didn't bump into nothing. There had been something there, but she could not describe it. Instead, she stubbornly kept quiet. In time she would seem like the crazy one. That was her only thought. After all, if there had been nothing then she must have just lost her mind in that instance.
Hesitantly, she tried to pull back. They didn't know what could have been lurking in the corridor. She didn't trust this place. Hearing Christine speak up, she tensed. "This isn't safe...We don't know what could be in here. W-we should find other's. There's safety in numbers." She muttered. This was not like her at all. Lydia? Scared? Never! Yet here she was begging to go back.

Lydia seemed scared. Looking up at her, Christine frowned softly and placed a hand on her shoulder. She lowered her eyes once more and looked around again. There /was/, indeed, something, even if Christine couldn't tell what it was. "Lydia... there's something here... but I can't see what it is," she said. Of course, she could bend down and touch it, but what if it was some sort of corpse? She wasn't going to touch death. "I... I do not dare to try and touch it..."
Christine agreed with what Lydia was saying. "It's not a safe place... not at all... I... I think we should go," she stated with a cracking voice. Trying to avoid whatever was on the floor, Christine started pulling Lydia along, out of that place. "I don't know where the others are, but we can find them..." she said. "We should all stick together, as you've said."

The moment Christine placed a hand on Lydia's shoulder, she jumped. Things were truly growing frightful, even for her. She couldn't handle the idea that someone, something was there with them and they had no clue what it was. When Christine confirmed there was something there, she took a quick step back. "N-No...Don't touch it. It could be-" She stopped mid-sentence and swallowed the lump in her throat. Lydia dared not imagine the ideas of what it could be.
She heard Christine's voice crack and only became more uncomfortable with the situation. At least she agreed with Lydia that they should leave. She sighed with relief and followed Christine, since she was being pulled along. Nodding slightly, she gave a small smile of reassurance. "Yes. That's a good plan. We should gather them all and see what we can do about this place..."

"I won't," she said. "It scares me... it could be a dead body for all we know." Once she realized she had said that, Chrisine gulped and started to walk faster. "I swear this is a dangerous place..."she muttered. She was even more sure than before. They had to find a way out, and fast. She wasn't even sure about what were they doing there. "This places scares me..."
Walking faster and faster to the end of the corridor, Christine's mind was only focusing on getting out of the manor. Maybe there was a way out from the garden, and surely there had to be a front door. "We need to go away... take the others and leave. Maybe we can find a way, through the garden..."
